For an english project, I need to compare two stories written by different authors. They need to be from the same literary time period and be the same genre and themes.
So I'm looking for a story that will take relatively little time to read (the due date is today, hah), and is post-modern absurdism. The themes are human disillusionment and either the meaning of freedom or the journey to identity. (I had to pick things off a list)
I'm already using one of Kurt Vonnegut's stories, so from a different author.
If anyone knows of any good ones, please tell me! In the meantime, I'll be scouring google...
