Ability to Follow Support Tickets

As far as I am concerned, there is no option to follow the support tickets a user creates.  This is most problematic because I often like to believe that anything posted within the support section of the site is usually pressing for users.  People want to know when their situation is being addressed right away.

Please add some form of notification system to the support area of the site. :)

I was thinking about posting something like this the other day!

Staff is aware of this issue! Unfortunately, I don't think the capability actually exists. Support ticket responses do, however, send email notifications. :)

Because of the way the software is? ^^; I'm not really familiar with web domain technology. I just mean that I don't think that what we use to run RPN has the option for following support tickets.

I could be wrong.

Support ticket responses do, however, send email notifications.

This is very true for all forms of notifications!  If possible, I believe it will become more convenient for the site to have a way to inform users of support ticket activity within the site itself as well.

I don't see any option to do that on the Admin backend.  Support and forums seem to be completely separate as far as the software's concerned.

Is it possible to switch the support area to function like a forum as it did in the past?

I'm pretty sure not.  Like I said, they're separate things here.  I can't really explain it properly, but I don't think it's switchable like that.

It is one of the tabs which appear at the top of the site's page, like the gallery, donation page, and bookmarks.  This is the support area.
