Ah, sunshine. Sometimes it's a glorious thing, sometimes they slap it on the name of an orphanage to make it seem happier. Welcome to Sunyside Orphan House. It's a little bit like an orphanage, but slightly less full of people. This is where my little slice of heaven is. Well, most of the time. You see, I am one of those unfortunate kids who has lived there there entire life. I have seen the passage of time, well in kids. One day, little Billy was walking in and the next, whsew, out the door and off to a home. I have always been here. But I don't really want to leave either. I like seeing kids come though here. Even though they come broken and lost, I can always make them seem at home, until "Someone" comes and bothers me. The "Someone" can be different, but the gender name usually start with a G or a B. Yep, boys. That was the one catch to her slice of peaceful life.

Now let's move on. Oh wait! I forgot to introduce myself. Name's Luna, and I am the one that has been here the longest. Yep, a golden 15 years. Anyway, our story starts in the morning of a fine week into summer. Luna yawned and opened her eyes, the sunlight streaming though the roof of her canopy spot. She had slept in the hammock because it was way to hot inside. She got up and got dressed, heading down for breakfast.

Osmond awoke quietly opening his useless eyes only to be met with darkness. His dreams had only been a blank black surface as always for it was all he ever saw so imagining images was a useless task. The carrot topped boy laid on his right side under the vanilla duvet which covered his soft bed. It was another day in sunshine and he wondered what was going to come with the day. For a moment he merely laid there motionless before sitting up and letting out a roar like yawn as his arms reached high up above his head. Before a soft knock filled the otherwise silent air,

"Come in." Osmond voiced before he heard the light click of his door opening along with the familiar steps of a known female.

"Good morning Ms. Ai." He greeted knowing right away just before the knowing sound of his wardrobe opening. Osmond could imagine what they called a smile appearing on her expression although he wouldn't know what it would look like.

"Good morning Osmond," the maid spoke before tossing what sounded like clothing onto the edge of his bed.

"I have to go help set up for breakfast so I must go, have a good one." She voiced before he heard the sound of her shoes fading with the swish of a new kimono before the sound of the door closing was created. Osmond slipped out from within the beds blankets before removing his pajamas and putting on the clothes Ai had set up for him like she did each morning so he would have matching pieces.

Once completed he began towards his door having memorized the room and the building long ago. Counting his steps naturally so when he reached the number eleven he halted and reached out to grab the doorknob and turned it. Osmond once in the hall shut his door beside him and sprinted in the direction of his brothers quarters.

"Aaron!" The younger brother of the two spoke to the door as his right hand hit its wooden surface.

"We're gonna miss Breakfast." Osmond stated before opening the door and peaking his head in hoping for the sake of his sanity that there would be no prank set up for him.

(Oh my I wrote more then I planned to)

Aaron pretended to be asleep as he heard his little brother knock on his door. Aaron had been awake for hours now, his best time to operate was in the early morning when his roommates are still drowsy and easy to fool. He resisted the urge to snicker as the first of his pranks planned for today was about to occur: Nice bucket of icy water carefully balanced on top of bed room door, waited to drop on his unsuspecting brother' s head. It was ready punishment for the disobedience of his one rule and entering the room with his permission. Not the most original of pranks but a classic never goes out of style so he waited patiently for the bucket to drop and his brothers classic scream of surprise.

Having not heard a response from his sibling he grew worried fearing that aliens may had abducted him. Osmond pushed the door open more cautiously his sweater covered hands slowly letting go of the door knob as he stepped in more only for the sudden rush of coldness washed over him. The boy let out a shrill scream of shock which would hold a higher note then any girls as he fell backwards against the wall. The water slowing seeped into his wool sweater making his body temperature drop a few degrees. For a moment he was confused his breaths coming out in panicked huffs before realizing what had happened,

"Aaron!" Osmond exclaimed but no irritation was evident in either his voice or face making it obvious that he wasn't very agitated by the act but still shocked.

Luna walked past the Troublemaker's room and down the stairs. "Morning Osmond, Aaron." She said, looking at the two of them and going down the stairs. Her hair was still messy and she had hastily thrown it into a bun. She was in some jeans and a t-shirt. She walked down and yawned, looking around before sitting on the couch.

Aaron laughed heartily lifting his bed covers, revealing a towel and extra pair of clothes next him. He was a prankster but his was not heartless after all. He got out of bed grabbing the towel ready to help wipe poor Osmond down.

"Oh, brother."He said finally managing to control his laughter. He placed the towel over his brothers head."You make all this too easy, are you sure we are related?"

Osmond crossed his arms in front of his chest to keep what warmth was left within his body there as he heard a greeting from the well known Luna,

"Good morning Ms. Luna!" He responded for both himself and Aaron, adding Ms. to her title as he would with every female and Mr. to the males all except for his sibling. At the feeling of a towel being placed atop his mess of orange hair he paused.

"Sometimes I wonder myself," Osmond responded mumbling a thank you under his breath as he rubbed the towel into his scalp.

"So mean..." He murmured before looking up his bright blind blue eyes out in the open as his bangs where somewhere in the towels depths.

"I'm going to go tell Mr. Aarnold!" Osmond threatened referring to the man in charge of the whole orphanage. He turned around quickly despite his clothes sticking to his clothes with the water and was prepared to sprint out of the room but his forehead slammed into the corner of the doorway. He stumbled backwards his fingers rubbing his forehead,

"You give me bad luck.." Osmond accused his sibling.

Arabella~

Sunlight infiltrated Ara's closed eye lids, rays of the early morning sun shining through the sides of her closed curtains. Kicking at her colorful quilted blanket with her long pale slender legs, the light haired girl curled up into a fetus position, knees tucked up against her chest feeling the warmth of her body slowly leave her. Wrapping her fingers around her slim green iphone 5c, she stared at the mechanical time: 8:01. Sitting up, she took a deep breath before sliding off of the bed, her soft feet padding quietly on the color filled rug. Walking into the adjoining bathroom, she slipped off of her oversized t-shirt and shorts before turning on the faucet and waiting for the water to heat up.

The light haired girl's large cyan colored orbs scanned at her appearance, running her fingers through the lumpy scar tissue. Under her breasts all the way to the back of her knees, remaining large angry welts or white burn marks stayed behind, a reminder of her family's death. In some ways, she felt as if it were unfair that she was able to live without her family. Some said she was "lucky" to have stayed behind on this Earth, but was it really that great to live without the ones that loved her the most? Shaking such negative thoughts out of her brain, she stepped into the crisp clear white tub and turned on the shower head. Lathering her long blonde hair with shampoo, she felt the slimy consistency of the soap adapt to a more firm, foamy touch. Blowing at the light pink foam on her fingers, a few lucky bubbles escaped only to be popped by the droplets of water raining down. Gingerly stepping out to avoid slipping, Ara wrapped a clean white towel around her wet body, and stared at the fogged up mirror. Her slight acne had come back, and her the tangles that she had worked out of her hair yesterday seemed to have reincarnated.

Slipping on a dress, the top part white, ending at an early gathered waist before flowing down in a midnight black cloth, the short sleeves were also a silky smooth black color. The familiar noise of the sleek hair dryer cut through Ara's morning haze, further waking her up. Brushing her hair out, the girl fiddled with it, tying it into two pig tails and then pinning the ends up into a loop with two pretty silver bird clips. The front of her bangs framed her face nicely along with the two strands at the side of the teen's face, resting to about her belly button. Not bothering with make up today except for a little concealer she walked out of the misty bathroom. The silver charm bracelet that she always had on slid softly up and down on her narrow wrist as she treaded down the wooden stairs. Spotting the cook, "Would you like some help?"

Stewart flinched at the voice, his eyes darted between Arabella and the cart he was pushing before shaking his head and stuttering. He began eying his escape route, the dining room. He just had to make it there without messing up and everything would be fine~.

"No m-miss Lemare," he got out as he inched closer towards the Dining hall "Everything is going well, how ab-bout you go hang out with the others... okay?"

Arabella~

Slightly unsure of the nerve laden response that Stewart had given her, she gave a small smile, "If you need help, I'll be with the others." Rubbing her hands together she walked forward, looking for the others and finally finding them in another room. Luna, Aaron, and Osmond already in the room she stuck up her hand in a wave, "Good morning guys." She perched delicately on the arm of the sofa that the seemingly half asleep Luna was stretched out on.

"Ouch...You alright there?"Aaron said cringing slightly at the sight of Osmond striking his head. He reached out his hands on Osmonds shoulders incase he needed steadying. He laughed at Osmond last comment slightly relieved that he was ok."Come now, don't be such a baby. So you will tell on your brother will you? You could do that, i will get shouted at some and some sort of punishment but then i will be free again. Then i would be disappointed at my brother and next time the liquid in the bucket won't be just water. Or alternative use what you learned here and the many, many, many, many examples i have given you and give me a taste of my own game. Like a true blood of mine should."

Luna smiled at Arabella. "Morning." She said, yawning. She loved the other kids in the house like siblings, but none of them were close enough to figure out what she was really like. None of them were even close. She sighed and sat up, looking at the rest of them as she rubbed her eyes. As far as she was concerned, it was to early.

Osmond pretended to crumble at his brothers touch to emphasize the pain, although it didn't really hurt that much anymore a sting all that remained. Before he was given an idea his bangs now covering his unseeing eyes as his mouth slowly curved upwards into a mischievous grin.

"I will most definitely not be pulling a prank on you that would be just ridiculous! I wouldn't stoop to such a level of...prankery." Osmond lied terribly his hands making odd gestures as he spoke nervously before turning around and yelling a good morning to Arabella then sprinted out of the room in the direction of what he believed to be a storage room counting each of his steps silently. The younger sibling tripped over his wet feet, his leather shoes squeaking on the surface of the corridors floor.

"Atta boy."Aaron muttered with a small smile proudly watching his brother walk off. He picked up the spare clothes he brought for Osmond, and followed close behind making sure."Oh, no Osmond come back!"He called out half heartedly playing his part."You atleast don't want some dry clothes!?"

Osmond halted nearly falling to the ground when his slick shoes couldn't find a grip on the wood. About to say something to make Aaron go away he was then reminded of his wet attire and rubbed the back of his neck as he turned around,

"That'd be useful wouldn't it," he stated sheepishly before questioning,

"Do they match?" This referred to the clothing knowing very well that his brother could be putting him in a girl top or a blue shirt with fire engine red shorts and two miss matching shoes.

"Do they match? Of course....Maybe."He said intentionally vague as he approached Osmond, despite having brought proper matching clothes this time. He didnt need to know that...Yet. When close to Osmond, he moved the pile of clothes close to Osmond's hand to take. He had to admit though he felt a ping of guilt for causing this much trouble"Come on, the prank doesn't have to be now, i am expecting it after all. Let me help you change in my room and go have breakfast ok?"

Cameron finally gets up, after some late hours of sleep. He puts his hands on his face and slaps himself a couple times to get up. He checks the clock beside his bed and sees that it's very late. Oh god, it's time to go for breakfast. Ugh. He gets up with a lot of weight, since he had slept for a long time. He starts going to his wardrobe and gets out some clothes. a big, panda-like hoodie and some jeans. He goes very slowly to the direction of the kitchen and sits down. Still rubbing his eyes, and swaying from side to side.

Osmond felt the thin piles of clothes lay themselves out into his hands. Holding them gratefully as he nodded in agreement with his sibling,

"Okay." He'd never say it of course but he was grateful to have Aaron around, and he knew he was lucky to have him as well for they where the only ones related in the whole building.

"And I most definitely wasn't trying to prank you," Osmond denied uselessly beginning in what he believed to be the direction of Aaron's room,

"So I don't know what your saying."

"Uh-huh, sure and Steward never complains about his cooking." He said sarcastically, placing a hand on Osmonds back and guiding him back to his room. He opened the door making sure Osmond didn't slip on the spilled water and guided him on to his bed"If its any consolation, i have to clean the water up myself."

If I had to pick my least favorite thing about this house...

A bright streak of sunlight shone through a set of large panel windows. The illuminated sheets that were still pulled up from end to end of the bed gave off a faint white aura around the entire room, setting a very soft, calm mood in the small, seemingly empty room. The scene was entirely peaceful, that is until something beneath the covers began to stir.

...it would definitely have to be...

Over a few minutes, a girl slowly peeked her head out above the sheets. Her messy, silver-white hair almost blended in with the pure white sheets she hid beneath, and sprawled across the bed in every direction out from her head. As her hands gripped the top of the sheets, she extended her arms down towards her legs, revealing first her face, then her torso, until she stopped just below the waistline of her purple pajama pants. She turned her head towards the windows, bracing for the sunlight as she slowly opened her eyes.

...these giant freaking windows.

Cameron awoke that morning the same way she always did: far later than most of the other kids, and rudely stirred from slumber by the rays of the sun shining outside. That was the problem with living in a modern-style glass house that they lived in, she always thought. After a few moments of laying in bed, a soft groan could be heard as she brought herself to sit up. Her hair followed her up, just as lazily as the rest of her body, and she spent some time straightening it out. Once she was generally satisfied, she swung her bare feet out over the side of the bed and hopped down. After approaching a mirror on the wall near her bed, she checked herself over.

Hair is decent. Pajamas are pajamas. Who needs socks?

Once she had decided that she was presentable, at least to those who lived in the house with her, she nodded with a small smile. She could hear voices around the house, but didn't really care much to try to listen in closely. She was used to being up late compared to the others, it happened pretty regularly. She's even missed breakfast occasionally, but the grumbling of her stomach that morning motivated Cami to speed up. She made her way to her door and opened it, peering out before leaving. It seemed clear enough.

Slowly, and quietly, she made her way to the kitchen. She mused about why she had seen no one in the halls, but the thoughts quickly left her as she entered the kitchen. She saw Cameron sitting down, so she decided to sit next to him. Once she was seated, she looked over to the boy and offered a small smile.

"G'morning, Cam." It was a simple greeting, but about all that she thought either of them could handle. In her mind, it was still early.

Osmonds steps slowed down when he stepped through the water but once through he picked up speed and strolled next to Aaron's bed feeling the blankets to make sure he was where he wished to be before removing his soaked sweater and leaving his button up on as he spoke the fabric clinging to his frail chest.

"I don't know why Mr. Steward talks about his food badly it's really good! Especially the pancakes," he stated he couldn't see it himself but the buttons on his button up where all lopsided and put in the wrong designated areas.

"Do you have any plans for the day?"

He hears the girl calling to him. Since he had his mouth full and his brain was functioning at about 15% he just waved at her and said ''Hi!'' While swallowing all the food he had. He closed his eyes and gave her a big smile. ''Don't you find it funny how you and me have the same name? What a coincidence!'' He said, while laughing slightly. He had finished his meal, so he just rested backwards staring at the girl.

It was like Cami was stunned. How can this boy have so much energy so early? She did laugh some alongside him, though, as she too found the occurrence to be pretty funny. She just shrugged as she let him finish, and once it seemed as he was finished he started.

"Yeah, I guess stuff like that happens though."

Cameron was one of the kids that Cami felt the closest to, even if she didn't know if he felt the same way. He had come in at an incredibly early age, too, so the two basically grew up together. The amount of misunderstanding that happened throughout their early years when someone would call one of their names made Cami laugh a lot, it was a good eight or so years until Cami was identified as such and the misunderstandings stopped occurring as often. Stuff like that formed a connection to the boy that she felt she didn't really have with the others, as small as it might be.

Of course, it helps that he's cute too.

She shook off the idea, instead opting to just converse naturally. A quick laugh let her transition into her next line.

"Anyway, you seem pretty energetic this morning. Sleep well?"

Luna looked at the two siblings bicker. The older one was the one who seemed to occupy her mind the most. Mostly because he was always playing pranks on her and the rest of the house. She sighed, kicking her feet. There was so much noise. She decided to go upstairs and wash her face before breakfast. But just as she walked to the bathroom, she felt some flour on her head as she opened the door. She wiped off her glasses and glared at a wall before yelling "AARON!" She yelled, ready to strangle the boy.
