Fantasy Abandoned Nekos

Hana woke up, rubbing her head and mumbling to herself. "What happened.....?" She said while standing up and looking around her.

Hayden could see Al had a moment of letting his anger show. She was hoping to take a slight advantage of his emotions. She buddied up to the other side of Evie. "Al, if you wanna go inside I can stay out here with Evie." Her smile was genuine expect the intent was a bit construed.

 

[Hibiscus]

Al gave a quick glance to this and was awfully confused, not only did this girl kiss Melanie she was also trying to get in good with Evie? But he wasn't one to be mean to a house member, a girl one at that so he smiled and said, "With that maniac on the loose I don't plan to let Evie out of my sight.".

 

[Sugar and Spice]

"Maniac? Nice choice of words." Hayden looked to Evie to see how she'd respond but she acted as if the word had no extra meaning When did Evie become such a good actress? Unless what was said is true... Hayden's looked at Evie inquisitively hoping no one would suspect her interests in Evie.

 

[Hibiscus]

"So Hayden, can I ask your connection to Evie, you seem close to her." This was literally and metaphorically as she was still gripping to her like a lost child. Whatever the case he didny suspect anything bad, maybe a friend that happened to be a neko.

Evie perked up, "I don't recognize Hayden." She looked curiously at the panda neko.

Hayden backed up. "My connection to Evie you ask? I'm just a childhood friend, I use to go to her father's concerts and play with Evie. That is all." Hayden covered the rest of her story by refusing to say anything more than that, at least not in front of Evie.

Allon wasn't buying it, not only was she buddy buddy with Evie, but now was denied the connection and lost physical contact. "Ah, well, I'm sorry your first day here had to be so eventful." He smiled and talked as sincerely as possible, but underlying it by squeezing Evie's hand a little tighter. They were having such a nice night, and now this, it is as if the galaxy never wanted Al to have alone time with Evie.

Evie looked at Hayden again, remembering her dream. "Was your mother the drummer?"

"So it's not like this all the time, girl's fighting over a guy and a random person tearing apart the house?"


Hayden looked over as Evie spoke. "Hey-o, look who remembers me!" Hayden was pleasantly surprised of that "Remember anything else?" But Evie just shook her head. And Hayden was a bit disappointed.

Simon stared at Aki for several seconds, "Pfft, I'm not here for any of that crap!" he snarled as he began absentmindedly twirling his makeshift spear behind him " I'm here for Maxwell and the family hunting knife!"

Melanie was still staring at the house while the tension filled moment occurred between the new house member and Allon with the midway point being Evie. Melanie wondered if she got the positioning right, oh well, it's not like it matters in the majority of the situation.

 

[Hibiscus]

"I'm sure it will come to her, Evie has a knack of making people happy, one way or another." Allon gave a smile then turned to Melania, "Alright Melanie, I'm done with this waiting, you know him best what should we do?".

 

[Kairyn]

"This is what I stole! No more."

Aki growled about this nonsense.

"We do not have a person named 'Maxwell.'"

"My grand father's hunting knife! You reek of that blade's loyal rust! The very fact that you laid your hands upon it is blasphemous in and of itself. Do you have any idea how much blood was shed over that knife?!? And let me tell you something missy, MAXWELL IS NOT A PERSON. HE'S A DAMN GOOD RAT AND YOU SHALL LABEL HIM AS SUCH!!!"


In frustration Simon picked up the nearby lamp and sent it sailing out of the window.


"Now where are they!?! I need them!"

"Listen Al, what we need to do- now this is important- what we need to do is get to the kitchen. There's something there that can-"


She was interrupted by the sound of glass breaking, turning she watched a lamp crash into the ground not too far away.


Instead of worrying, she sighed in relief "Okay, he's not downstairs." she began walking to the door "That'll make this much easier."

 

[Hibiscus]

He looked down at Evie, "Look I want you to stand out here with Hayden, me and Melanie will take care of the crazed one.". He kissed her hand before walking to the door with Melanie. "This plan in the kitchen better work, I don't feel like fighting a lumberjack.".

 

[Sugar and Spice]

"okay." Evie smiled trusted Al. "But please be safe." despite his reassuring gesture she was still worried.

Hayden being 5'10 wrapped her arms around Evie's shoulders. "I'll protect her." She said so seriously it was almost directed as a challenge.

"Need? You can survive without them."

Aki muttered, shrugging.

"I'll help if you stop throwing items and destroying them!"

Aki closed the door behind her, not letting him destroy other rooms, especially Matt's if it was not yet destroyed.

"All I touched was forks and spoons, a snow globe, and money. That's it."

"First of all! You are a lying, disrespectful thief! First you try to take our sleeping spots and now you steal the things that mean most to us! Second: Give me Maxwell and my Grandfather's knife you cheap criminal!"

Stepping into the house, Melanie made a beeline for the kitchen while whispering back to Allon "Don't worry, I have plans for these kind of situations." She said as she walked to one of the cabinets and began palming at the tiling on the wall underneath it "If all goes well, then you won't have to even get near him."


Feeling the wall give a bit, Melanie pulled open the hinged tile revealing a small compartment with a small, heavy, metal box inside.


She pulled it out and stared at it a bit "You have to understand, Simon's not a bad guy... he just can't let go of the past." She pushed the compartment closed and hefted the metal box "But I've known for a long time that this may be the only way."

 

[Kairyn]

"I am not lying!"

Aki yelled back,


Gah! Forgot to get my collar once again.

"What does it mean to you?"

Aki asks, deciding to prevent Simon breaking items.

Simon smirked, but refrained from lowering the spear "My Grandfather was gifted his occupation due to saving the master with that very knife. As a sign of honor, my father kept it when he inherited the position. And so it was passed to me, it's a sign of honor to the master and I would rather die than leave it in the possession of some overly dramatic wench!"

 

[Hibiscus]

Al shot Hayden a smile, as to infer he knew he had Evie, and she couldn't take her away. He walked in with Melanie, whispering back to her, "What's in that? And if you know him so well then tell him to get out.".

"Maxwell?"

"It's more complicated than that Allon, you should know by now that that's usually how this song and dance go." Melanie said as she steadied the box in her hands.

"Maxwell," Simon blinked as if in realization before growing furious "You don't deserve to know about him... if I find even one scale missing..."


He paused to choke back a tear before firming his stance "I SWEAR TO ALL HELL I WILL RUN YOU THROUGH WITH THIS BLADE AND SKIN YOU ALIVE IF I FIND EVEN ONE GODDAMN SCALE MISSING!!!"

"Yea, that is how this house seems to work." Allon replied, but at that Simon's voice could be heard flowing through the house. Apparently someone was getting skinned alive, "Hurry Melanie, I'm right behind you.".

 

[Kairyn]

"It's more complicated than that Allon, you should know by now that that's usually how this song and dance go." Melanie said as she steadied the box in her hands.
