So, after watching The Last Witch Hunter movie, I came up with an interesting idea for an RP. Why not put this is the Fandom are then? Well, because this isn't a fandom RP, but an Original Universe RP.

To the point, the main focus of the RP, will be magic. To explain the RP, I'll have to explain the story behind the world. It takes place on a modern-esque earth, though it will have a lot of Fantasy elements to it, hence placing it in this section.

Here is the lore of the world:

"Going back all the way to the beginning, say, around the year 8, maybe 9, thousand BCE, there was a great empire in the making. You people nowadays call it Ancient Egypt. But, we aren't talking about that now, are we? No, we're talking about 'The Coven,' and their sisters, 'The Templar.' See, at the time, a Great Spirit, which The Coven Sisters at the time called Ewaiha, The Breath Giver, breathed magic into human lungs. Or, so the story goes. Me, personally, I think they found something, an Artifact of sorts, of a race long gone from the earth, and that, is what gave them their powers.

"Well, these Coven Sisters, the Great Old Ones as their called now, used their new found powers to gain power over the mundane souls around them, and slowly form a little cult. And over time, their powers grew, as did their numbers. But, as expected of a group that grows too large, there was a rift forming in The Coven. One that split it into millions of pieces. The two largest pieces, where the cause of the rift. There was The Black Coven, now known simply as The Coven, who believed that they should use their powers to control mankind with an Iron Fist. And the other, was called The White Coven, now called The Templars, who believed that the powers of Ewaiha should be used to help mankind, and bring it forward as a race in whole.

"They fought a lot, bringing in anyone and everyone into their fight. Until 1,316 years ago, well more like 1,287 years ago... For you see, a young man was born. A man with powers that seemed to rival that of The 17 Coven Sisters that formed The great old Coven. And this, made him sought after by both sides. So, in the year 729AD, he along with a small group of friends, fled Europe, into the open sea. They were thought to be lost. Until, 800 years later, and colonization of the New World began. You see, these expeditions into the new world, were backed by both sides, in an effort to locate this man either alive, or dead. And they found him alright. Him, and the more then ten thousand Natives who worshiped him and his friends. He was what they called their Great Spirt.

"And in the year 1776, a war, right along America's war for independence, another secret war was being fought. Once again, for control over this man. But, he had had enough. And so, he, along with his followers, ended the war for good. And so, the Third of the most powerful Covens on this plane was born. The Man, Called it The Woad, in honor of the natives who sheltered him all those years ago..."

So, that's the gist of it. A world of Might and Magic, set in modern day earth. In this world, there are roughly 150 Covens, spread across the globe, some even spilling into other planes, such as the Elemental ones, and the Shadow ones. Many of them are loyal to The Templars or The Coven, and some of them are independent. With the rest, owing their peace to The Woad.

I'll be playing as the head of the 'Woad' Coven, with who ever wishes, PMing me about being the head of the other two main Factions. If you don't want to do so, but still wish to play, feel free to be the head of a smaller independent Coven, but do know, that in order for the Coven to be accepted by the ruling body of all Covens, "The Grand Council" which was formed after the Treaty of Three, back in 1778 in this world, a Coven needs at least 3 members. And no less.

So, to the main question, who'd be interested in playing in a world like this?
