One Thousand Club
The sound of strangers speaking to one another in hushed voices wake you from a restless slumber. You're unsure of what's going on and slowly begin to move only to find that there are shackles attached to either of your ankles. Being under the age of eight, your immediate reaction is to cry. Bad idea. The voices go silent and footsteps approach your location. A door swings open pouring in light and two people in lab cloaks emerge from the doorway. They walk closer giving you a better view, only you wish they hadn't. On their coats are bloody hand prints and sticking from their pockets you recognize the heads of pointed needles. You just want to wake up.
You hadn't noticed it before but there are bars all around you and others too. There's a child in each cage but yours is the one being stared down on. The door is unlocked and someone's hand reaches inside. Terrified you move backwards until hitting the iron against your back. Before the person reaches you everything turns black and you hit the ground, only your heart beat pounding in your ears to be heard.
A Brief Summary :
Welcome to Peaceful Hollow, a place full of dread, trauma, and much, much more. Despite its name, the place is a complete nightmare although the only ones who know this are the researchers within the compound. The subjects end up with no memory and if things go well they are placed in their own personalized living areas. There is no indoors, every 'creature' is provided for with natural water sources nearby and other essentials in which animals in the wild require. All subjects are checked on once and sometimes twice a day (morning and evening). They are fed in the morning/evening depending on the type of animal. (Ex. Bat hybrids are given food before the sun sets)
