Bio: Amara was born into a middle class family in the village, her mother was a tailor, and her father was a merchant who sold fruits, baskets, vegetables, and other materials. They owned two shops in the village which were right next to it and Amara would help out her mother two times a week and her father three times a week. Amara was a very spirited girl, she was never the type to not do her work, she was very hardworking, generous, kind, loving, and very brave for a human like her. Her parents loved her unconditionally and she did the same as well. Sometimes she gets into trouble with the villages when she says that she isn't afraid of vampires nor is she going to let one tell her what to do. Her mother and father were always worried about her and didn't want anything terrible to happen to her if the lord himself or other vampires heard her.

Appearance: Anne has wavy mahogany hair that reaches the middle of her back, and deep green eyes. She is average height, and slim as her powers cost her so much energy. She enjoys wearing ballroom dresses and victorian clothing because it reminds her of her childhood.


Bio: Anne was born to a reasonably well off but unknown vampire family, meaning that she enjoyed a sheltered upbringing for many years. She had a sister who left when she was younger, leaving her alone to her studies and music. Anne discovered that she had a love of the piano and harp, spending much of her time perfecting those skills. She wanted it to stay like this forever, but her family has recently become more noticed in the vampire community. She knows that this will mean she will have to marry another vampire, an idea she is not fond of.


Likes: Classical novels, music, and dresses


Dislikes: High class society, large groups of people, fancy dinners


Weaknesses: She doesn't like watching others suffer, and some metals (such as iron or copper) can make her ill if she touches them.


Abilities/powers (don't make them too powerful): Anne can hear the thoughts of the people around her, but she cannot narrow it down to a few people, hence why she hates large crowds. She can also influence people's feelings, the skill she can control better, though if she is feeling strong emotions she can project those onto the person accidentally.


Relationships: She has a good relationship with her mum, who taught her to play the harp, but like a traditional daughter she is distant from her father, barely even speaking to him unless it is to make polite dinner conversation. She never got the chance to know her sister, and as she hasn't met very many people she has no friends.


How did you character get to where he is now?: Anne has become the person she is now through years of training. She has a good knowledge of etiquette, and has perfect posture. However, she finds it very hard to eat in front of people, something that is considered an offence in high society dinners. This is because she is worried that people will think she eats like a pig, something that comes from her introverted nature. Anne has spent many year learning to play the piano and the harp, and can now move her fingers individually, and handle much better than even a vampire can. She has terrible reflexes, as these are more strictly taught to boys.

Bio: Echo was found by one of the vampires that live in the castle when she was thirteen, she wasn't killed by him but he rather took her to the castle, put her in a cage and made her a blood slave for him and others who live in the castle, and occasionally would allow her out. During the four years she lived in captivity she had come to love her new master, but was ashamed to admit it, though it's a little obvious.

He is one of the vampires who help train the others and is ruthless when it comes to breaking the rules. he is the master of Echo and likes to keep her close

Name: Walter Schreiber


Age: 45.


Species: Vampire.


Appearance:

Naturally tall and bony, but with a potbelly that didn't even go away after he joined the LEGIONS OF THE DEAD.


He dresses a bit like a homeless professor- in a pseudo-Victorian setting, like this, that means a lot of tweed, a white 'shirt' that is probably just a collar and a pair of cuffs under a buttoned-up coat, and a pair of absolutely filthy gloves.


Likes:


+ Intellectual pursuits. Before being turned, Walter was a scientist. He still reads extensively, and is absolutely fascinated by the constant barrage of discoveries being made. His first love is chemistry, and he's not much of one for novels.


+ Fire. Walter suffers from periods of fey and intense mania. One of the symptoms of this, for him, is a fixation with fire. He carries a small tinderbox on his person at all times, and will sometimes scatter sparks over the floor just to watch them move.


+ His medication. Walter's been given morphine sulfate to treat his periods of mania. He's honestly a bit of an addict, though- since he's become a vampire- the pills no longer work like they used to.


+ Being right, and cutting down the people around him. Walter has a highly inflated sense of his own importance. He gets very, very angry when people question his obvious rightness.


Dislikes:


- Young people, and people who appear young. Walter's old enough that he looks like the father of most of the people here. He dislikes being mouthed off to by people who are obviously his inferiors.


- People who are obviously wrong, whether because they're factually incorrect or because they contradict his opinion.


- Women. He refuses to speak about the particulars, but is quite open that he was betrayed by a woman, and doesn't really trust the 'weaker sex.'


- Other vampires, though he's being forced to come to terms with them. Walter was turned in a fairly traumatic fashion, and he distrusts his own kind.


- People in general. He's a crabby, curmudgeonly misanthrope.


Weaknesses:


- Walter has trouble with water- especially with running water and holy water. He can't cross it on his own, being submerged in it will make him drown as easily as a human could, and holy water will burn his flesh, just as easily as any flame.


- Walter also has trouble with sunlight. While he can bear it from the shade, direct sunlight fogs his senses, dizzying and blinding him.


- Walter is mentally ill. Specifically, he has periods of intense mania, followed by intense melancholy. When he's in the grip of mania, he sometimes suffers from mild delusions (most of them center around fire). In either state, he doesn't think too clearly. He's often irritable, careless about his personal hygiene, paranoid, and socially maladroit. He says strange things and does strange things.


- Walter is bisexual, and is more interested in men than in women. In a pseudo-Victorian setting, this is scandalous, and could probably be used against him.


Abilities/powers (don't make them too powerful):


Walter can read people's surface thoughts, as long as he's reasonably close and not blocked out by lead, thick wood, or water.


Walter can also look into a person's eyes and give them one direct order. They have a chance to resist, but if their will is less strong than his, they must obey him. He can do this as many times as he wants to a person, but after he's crushed their will once, it's easier for them to resist.


Relationships:


Walter has reason to believe that Vincent Ashwood was the person who turned him into a vampire. He's going to the Masquerade to seek this man out, and, if he can, figure out how to make him pay for what he's done.

Appearance: Cane has dark brown hair, that covers his ears and hangs in his face. He is very lean and has a confident look, although sometime guarded or deadly in certain times. His eyes are ice blue, but soft and always watching his surroundings. He has a full grown but short beard that he keeps well groomed and surprisingly, a slight tan-ish complexion. He is most of the time in full black clothing, favoring a deep black trench coat with matching pants and shirt and light boots. He wears only two pieces of jewelry, a necklace and a ring, both from someone he greatly cared about in his past


Bio: He was turned a long time ago by the one he loved, because she wanted him to be with her forever. He was angry at first for what she was and what she did, but learned to accept it and stood by her side for another 68 years before she was ripped away from him by a town full of humans who had captured her, tortured and killed her. He decisively went on a rampage and killed all the humans in the town in one night(127). He has hated humans ever since and resents them, killing them if they even stare at him just a few seconds too long. After a few years of calming down from his lost, he decided to trek the countryside and traveled far and wide, only coming across one or two of his own kind. He is only going to the masquerade because he has never really mingled with others of his kind.


Likes: Cane enjoys the moon a great deal, and hunting beside other predators of the night, as he has a great ability at getting along with animal predators. He enjoys women a great deal as well, but hasn't come across a female vampire in 30 years


Dislikes: humans minus the fact that they provide the best food source for him. Birds and people who always act aggressive and have to constantly show whose the stronger person


Weaknesses: Canes biggest weakness is his emotions, more specifically his rage. If you get him angry, you will regret it with your life. His other main weakness is fire. Minimal amounts don't hurt him but if there was enough fire he would start falling apart


Abilities/powers (don't make them too powerful): Exceedingly fast, even faster than most vampires. But that mainly from his abilities to control air itself, as he uses it to push the air around him giving him less resistance. He is very strategic and analyzes people very heavily. He also learned a lot of martial arts from his time in China and is very well versed in hand to hand combat

Bio:

Brought up into the Noble Class of the vampires Vasilisa had a fairly comfortable life. Like most vampires of high status, her mother and father were away most of her upbringing. Distracting her with classes to make her into a proper Noble. While her brother Cynfael exceeded in his studies, Vasilisa struggled causing her parents to worry about what the others nobles would think of their family. In each family, there is one dominant power that is unlike the others, for Vasilisa's family it was Astral Projection. Whichever child held that power would become the predecessor of the family. After showing signs of having this power she was immediately named the next head of the house, causing her brother to flee seeing it was unfair that she was the one chosen. After many years of no contact from her brother Vasilisa set out to find him and bring him home before she was to claim the head of their house. After hearing that he may show up at the Masquerade Vasilisa set of in direction of the Masquerade in hopes to convince her brother to come home.

Bio:

He is forever in debt to Vasilisa. She saved him and he will one day save her. After he was abandoned on the streets by his mother , in a highly populated vampire town Oliver knew all too well what would happen to him, but that was not the case for him. Unknowingly he was watched by a young vampire girl as he aimlessly wandered the streets desperate to escape. After a few hours he gave up and tucked himself away in a corner. Seeing his defeat Vasilisa appeared before him offering him a job as her friend, which then took the official name of an overseer of sorts. Both of Vasilisa's parents were against letting Oliver stay with them but agreed after the begging done by Vasilisa. Soon they were inseparable, and after Cynfael chose to leave and Vasilisa's decision to find him, Oliver agreed to accompany her and help her on her journey.

His father new that he couldn't do much at his age so he asked Jamal who was heartbroken and sad, but his father could see the bloodlust in his eyes, Since then he was trained by his father learning to fight and gaining strength, his abnormal strength came from achieving 100% muscle usage through vigorous amounts of training. Whilst he was training his father made him read the bible so he may know the right from the wrong, now Jamal carries a combat knife, and seeks out vengeance for his mother.

She looks just about 18; she's actually 95.


She was born around the 1920's and her existence has been secluded for many, many years.


She's a Vampire.


Her eyes are green with golden embers signifying she is a vampire.

Abilities:


Besides the typical vampire traits, Diali-Lilia - also known as Dia, can map the entire world. It adds on to her survival skills, which helped lead her to Dracula's castle. Due to this trait, her eyes tend to glow a vibrant turquoise color at night. She can also manipulate a person for 8 hours only, or else it takes a toll on her and renders her paralyzed for three days. This trait is used telepathically and she doesn't have to look into someone's eyes in order to do so. She doesn't understand how she received the abilities, it may have something to do with her father, but she can never be certain because there are no names for them. At least, that's what she has been told.


Biography:


She was a woman of nobility from Shanghai. She stayed there with her mother to learn how to be a proper woman since she was three. When she was sixteen she was sent to live with her father in Hong Kong. There she was officially turned and properly tested as vampire by her father on her eighteenth birthday. Her family has prepared her to be the best of the best and the most well known woman to their kind. She's forever quiet and speaks when necessary. She does not like conflict, and to see her snap back is a rarity. She never bares her fangs unless violently confronted, other wise, she makes others look like fools. However graceful and elegant she may be, she is also very ignorant. She's not that smart because her parents never focused on a proper education so much. Only enough so she may know the basics, otherwise, anything happening now or something important to others is not something she will actually have interest of.


Otherwise, Dia is sometimes a child. If around someone she likes, whether it be friendly or romantically, she will give you all of the smiles and heart the world had bottled up in her vessel.

The only thing one must know, is that he is most likely older than you.

Abilities/Weaknesses:


Shadow Camouflage - He can very easily blend into the shadows. His eyes do not glow.


Exerting his abilities causes him to need fresh, human blood more than ever.


Bloodletting like his father; fresh human blood helps rejuvenate his youth.


He has the same strength his father had, along with the menacing strength his mother once had. Thus, he's practically a legitimate copy of Dracula him self.


Sunlight does not burn or destroy him, more like it paralyzes his abilities, thus he is at his weakest when exposed.


He can not shift into a bat whenever he feels, like his father, he has limitations -- he can only transform at dawn, noon, and dusk. During a full moon, he is able to shift whenever he feels, he likes that very much.


Like his father: He is also limited in his ability to travel, as he can only cross running water at low or high tide. Due to this, he is unable to fly across a river in the form of a bat or mist or even by himself board a boat or step off a boat onto a dock unless he is physically carried over with assistance. He is also unable to enter a place unless invited to do so by someone of the household; once invited, he can enter and leave the premises at will. Due to this limitation, he only ever stays within the Castle.


Vampirism like his father, meaning he can turn others into Vampires.


At the sight of blood, he is sometime - most likely - unable to control himself and ends up in a very. . . demoniac state, but many of his servants know how to lure him away: sacrifice.


People forget he's a vampire because he's the only one, that he's met so far, that can actually taste the food and savor it.


He has the strength of just about twenty men, just like his father.


Biography:


Count Dracula was once a wonderful man, that was until Malina died. Since Malina died, he lost himself in a lustful vengeance. Thus giving himself three insubordinate Vampires to call his lovers. They all disobeyed Dracula often, and when his plans went disarray, he would lash at them violently. They always regretted their actions. So, imagine his surprise when he found out his most favorite of the three, his Queen, Evangeline, snatched a 'wondering' child and made him hers. Thus, Cadis von Reimond was born, bearing his adoptive mother's maiden name.


Now, Cadis' story is very complicated.


Dracula wanted to take over the world at some point in time, and was using an English scholar in order to learn so much more about England itself. During the time, this English scholar was courting a woman, Cecilia, and Dracula hadn't cared much about what anyone had thought. He fancied his woman so, that although the woman was sick, he ruined her during ill nights, and forced her to bear his child. His beloved Queen Evangeline knew and never shared this vital information, simply because she wanted a child equally as much. During one of Dracula's expeditions, Cecilia gave birth and Evangeline took both her life and her baby before Dracula ever found out. But, Dracula was no fool, he smelt his Queen and when he learned of her actions he tortured her and her only when things went wrong for the many months Cecilia bared his son. Even so, Evangeline loved Cadis and loved Dracula, and did everything in her power to make sure Cadis grew up loving and knowing his father, separating herself from Cadis just so he may bond wonderfully with his father.


Life as a Dracula is difficult now. Evangeline died in Dracula's hands during one of Cadis' official stages of shifting, and Dracula's two harem vampires assisted, and with the two still alive, his father deceased, Cadis awaits their death's on a silver platter.


Personality:


He is a very reserved young man, and he regards himself as the noble-prince he is, no matter how illegitimate he may secretly be on his mother's side.


He is also very kind, no matter the money he has, he allows his servants to take holiday quite often because he grew up doing his own work and will continue to do so. He also enjoys the act of chivalry and shameless flirtation, but only with those he is familiar with - which tends to be towards the older servants within his Castle, and they don't mind. Most of them find themselves very comfortable because of the story of his childhood before then. They know more than the basic summary of his existence.


Unlike his father, he is very patient and very tolerant. He loves to charm.

He is also very mischievous.

Weaknesses: He is obviously filled and driven by rage and fear, so this makes him very easy to outsmart when he is in his rage mode, he also is sometimes uncontrollable. He doesn't really care as well, making him very unassertive when thinking of game plans.
