Umm...are we not using the books about Halta? Because so far, nothing is like it is in the books.
 
A large part of my problem is I had picked out Black Branches from the map of Creation and built it up in my head prior to actually going through East and reading up on Halta.


We'll call Black Branches the sole city of the kingdom on the ground, tailored for dealing with others. Just so I don't kill myself over this really fubar'd version of it. :P
 
Oh snap, Chejop Kejek and Lytek are going to have a thowdown O.o

I have to admit I am enjoying the debate a lot, so thats part of the reason. I hope that I/Jake didn't come off too dickish, I have a tendency to be pretty forward about things when debating. Sorry if it came off like that.

Oh god dammit! I had a really nice rant written up and then I saw an entire new page that made it obsolete.

Unfortunately, I don't have much for the guys that are still hanging around with Barbara to do.


I can come up with something for Dylan, but that still leaves others out, and interrupts your conversation for little gain.

I did set my bird on watchdog duty, if you want to use that. But I'm happy with just about anything, Dylan's had his time in the spotlight for now.


You could set up some sort of ruckus outside Rose's place. I'm sure Emily and Dylan would feel obligated to stop it.
 
Let me know if I should roll something different there. I was thinking, what Fae in general would want -> soc, what this particular guy would want -> inv, so I went with soc
 
That worked fine. Problem being is a several hundred year old treaty just got modified. You're probably lucky the Fae got there first instead of the Lunars. :P
 
Hmm, so I was hoping to try to figure out with the roll what sort of concessions they would want... Since I'm fairly sure Bria has only read the Halta/Linowan section of the book once or twice. :-P If you prefer though I can go to meta-mode.
 
Well, like he said he is pretty hungry and hasn't had a good meal in a couple of days. You can always volunteer to be ravaged.


Other than that, are you going to speak as someone who can modify the treaty? You can lie and make offers against that if you'd like. Or go meta if you need to. I'm away from books atm, so I can't give you a better answer, sorry.
 
You've got two dots in Craft, but neither are fire. You've got tools for the two elements you do have.
 
Would you consider medical items precision instruments? If so, that would fall under Air. Fire is for the larger stuff.
 
Sorry, Jay, I (and Grant) misheard you when you said "Talk to me after". For some reason my little squirrel brain read that as "after you've seen the captain of the guard".
