[A Time Apart] (OOC) The Players behind the players

I've locked the thread, because you all just stepped in it big time, the guards aren't going to just let you walk out after that.

Although I'm about to fall asleep where I sit, so I'll update in the morning.

You're assuming Grant is even walking out with the others. She's probably standing there like this again:

Either way, Bria did call out to you as well, which means you're in the middle of it even if you're not walking out.

Since the thread's not locked, can I respond? Grant/Sentinel has a few words to say about this mess. :P

Bria whispered all the scary stuff.. granted she made a scene, but that's slightly different than popping in and saying the fae are hunting the woods.

(but the response was expected, re: dudes wigging out.)

They didn't hear Bria, they heard the magically appearing Jake talking about broken treaties and manhunting Fae.

It's entirely possible I should have tried a more subtle approach there... but I think we're going to want the town cooperating with us.

arg >.< if you want to pop in before Bria go for it. I can edit that. (it seems we can't delete posts anymore?)

I don't think so, unless you followed Bria to the guard barracks.

Regardless, Bria's dragging everyone back to Rose's infirmary/home (which is most certainly not a hut, tyvm), so you'll be back in the action in a moment.

Is Dylan banking on someone having spent the willpower to ignore the Illusion and/or unnatural mental influence that changed the town?

I should have taken that Charm that lets you punch the mind control out of someone.

. . . God I love this game.

But, but.. I can swing around from trees with my tongue! *shuffles off to the corner*

Kinda holding off on posting until the rest can get some opinions in since this is an important decision point.

A thought occurred to me regarding meta-knowledge. Considering how many things are left for the Storyteller to decide in the gamebooks, and that Barbara has been our 'Story Teller' for a while now(I'm assuming, given how she apparently trusts us to save Creation for her), how many things that were left open for the Storyteller to deal with have we dealt with in our 'past' games? Likewise what were the resolution of those open-ended plot points?

Also, more random question: How many Sidereals would I need to gather in one area, and how high would my social stats need to be if I wanted to convince them that swapping two Elemental Poles around is the "Best Idea Ever"?

Technically? Four and 150+ successes. Those numbers are reversible.

And if you've got a particular question of open-ended knowledge you're welcome to ask it here and I may enlighten you.
