Fantasy A strange new world

Hanei

Brony, The Brony.
Gloople

Harmless, except when it bumps into you or you bumped into it, hurting you and causing you to lose your air and knock you off balance for a brief moment, which leaves you open to attacks from other lethal Glooples. When two Glooples bump into one another, they might merge together to become an Oozle.

-Appears: Everywhere

-Size: Normal

-Movement: Straight Line

-Speed: Normal

-Attack: If it hits you get stunned, but it is not an immediate threat.

-Effect: None

-Fusion: Yes (See Fusions above.)

-Specialty: None

-Way to kill: Swing your weapon through/Stab into it

TIP:

Green Glooples are plentiful, don't put yourself in danger trying to chase down, and don't hesitate to use them as cover between yourself and something dangerous (although it may not do much good)

TIP:

Green Glooples can't directly hurt you, but letting them bump into you will knock you of balance for a moment and give something worse a chance to strike.

If you splatter it, it will release yellowish sticky goo. If you walk over the stick goo, you will get sticky goo all over you, which is an effective means of insulation from fire and ice, but you will move slower as a side effect. Also, if you bump into it or if it bumps into you, it will self splatter and you will have sticky goo all over you nonetheless. Bath in sticky goo for a minute to get an award. If you are on fire, try to steer your way into sticky good to put out the flames and earn another award for surviving the flames.

Stickie

-Appears: Everywhere

-Size: Normal

-Movement: Straight Line

-Speed: Normal

-Attack: None

-Splash Effect: It leaves yellow goo behind. Walk over it and you move slow for a couple of seconds

-Fusion: No

-Specialty: None

-Way to kill: Just swing your sword

TIP:

When a Stickie enters the play field, it always aims for you. If you stay in one place while there are Stickies around, you'll eventually be bogged down.

TIP:

Stickies will pop when they touch anything, but they move completely straight so you can't steer them into things. Better to splat them and leave the goo as a trap or protective barrier.

TIP:

Stickie goo is a great isolator, and though it gums you up and slows you down, it will keep you from catching fire or being stuck in ice.

Biters move faster when they charge at you, splatter them head on or dodge their charges and splatter them when they pass by you. You can bump into them and not get killed, if they are not charging towards you with their mouth wide open. When two (2) Biters bump together, they might become a Horror, which is not a pleasant sight to behold. Their guts are sweet. Mmmmm, guts.

-Appears: Everywhere

-Size: Normal

-Movement: Towards you/ Straight Line when it attacks you

-Speed: Normal/Fast when it attacks you

-Attack: Bites and kills you

-Splash Effect: None

-Fusion: Yes (See Fusions above.)

-Specialty: None

-Way to kill: Dodge and then attack (swinging/stabbing)

TIP:

A Biter can't lunge (or hurt you) if it's gummed up in Stickie goo, so use the opportunity to splat it safely, or clean up some other threats.

TIP:

Biters are quick, but they can only lunge in a straight line, and they can't stop. Wait for it to pounce, and then either splat it or step out of the way.

TIP:

Although it's very rare, Biters can glom together to form a very scary gloople - don't let them touch too often.

Splatter it and it will release acid which will melt you and most of the Glooples that moved into the acidic pool, except for the more advanced Glooples. If you bump into the Meltie or it bumps into you, it will splatter itself and you will melt.

Meltie

-Appears: Everywhere

-Size: Normal

-Movement: Towards you

-Speed: Normal

-Attack: Splashes on you and kills you with its acid

-Splash Effect: Leaves acid behind. If you walk over it you are dead

-Fusion: No

-Specialty: None

-Way to kill: Swing your weapon at it. Don't let it splatter all over you.

TIP:

Melties will gently curve toward you while traveling. Use this to your advantage and steer them into threats you don't want to deal with - or can't.

TIP:

Be very careful when splatting a Meltie: just because you hit doesn't mean it can't splash towards you. Take note of the direction things splat when you hit them, and catch Melties on the correct side.

(Meltie Acid)

TIP:

While Meltie acid makes short work of a lot of Glooples, there are some who are too well protected to be hurt by it.

TIP:

Meltie acid lasts a while, so use them as defensive barriers while you can - most Glooples can't cross it safely.

You can only splatter a Sharp when it has retracted its spikes, like the one on the right side as shown above.

Sharp

-Appears: Everywhere

-Size: Normal

-Movement: Towards you

-Speed: Normal

-Attack: Kills you if its needles touch you

-Splash Effect: None

-Fusion: No

-Specialty: Has needles which protect it like an armor

-Way to kill: Attack when it's needles aren't out

TIP:

With their spines out, a Sharp is immune to the effect of any standing hazardous pool. Don't rely on defensively placed goo splats keeping Sharps off your back.

TIP:

More often than you'd like, the best way to deal with a Sharp is just to bat it out of the play area. You don't get credit for it, but you don't have to deal with it either.

TIP:

Sharps are clever enough that, if they see a hazard in front of them, they'll put their spines out. This goes for you, a dangerous pool, or any other Gloople, really.

TIP:

Sharps can splat a lot of glooples, and a well placed swat can send them into some other unpleasantness that you'd rather not deal with.

Clutters avoid getting close to you and will flee if you chase after them. Chase any Clutter off the screen to earn an award. They prefer to shoot their Clutter babies at you, which will greatly slow you down until you cannot move if you have too many on you.

-Appears: Everywhere

-Size: Normal

-Movement: Towards you, but doesn't come too close.

-Speed: Normal

-Attack: Shoots with its babies after you

-Splash Effect: It leaves up to three clutter babies behind

-Fusion: No

-Specialty: None

-Way to kill: Just swing your sword

TIP:

A Clutter will never intentionally get anywhere near you - you'll have to take the fight to them. But don't let them get you into trouble trying to chase them down.

TIP:

If you swing immediately after a swing that kills and adult Clutter, you'll usually mop up the babies it drops as well (and get pretty good score for it, as well). Just don't do this at the expense of watching your back.

-Appears: After killing a Clutter

-Size: Small

-Movement: Avoids you

-Speed: Normal

-Attack: None

-Splash Effect: None

-Fusion: No

-Specialty: Grows and becomes a Clutter

-Way to kill: Attack before it get's bigger

TIP:

You can really ignore baby Clutters safely for a while - it takes them a short time to grow up, and until then they aren't a threat. Just make sure you get to them before they reach full size.

TIP:

Most of the time you're better off just stepping out of the way of spit baby Clutters rather than swatting them. They splat when they hit the ground anyway. If you do splat them, though, they're worth as much as any small Clutter.

Inkies move fast, and they always move towards you. If it bumps into you, it will splatter and you will be blinded. Survive through the blindness and I will give you a highfive. If you splatter it and wandered onto the black ink, you will slide in a straight direction, unable to steer left or right for a while. Always splatter them Inkies to avoid getting blind.

Inkie

-Appears: Everywhere

-Size: Normal

-Movement: Towards you

-Speed: Fast

-Attack: If it hits you, you get blinded for a while

-Splash Effect: It leaves a black liquid behind. Walk over it and you can't move for a while

-Fusion: No

-Specialty: None

-Way to kill: Attack from the side, going straight at it will cause it to splatter all over you.

TIP:

Under no circumstances should you let an Inkie get anywhere near a fire (don't worry about the little flames, though). If lit before they splat, they detonate and take out everything around them.

TIP:

It's a good idea to steer clear of Inkie splats. It won't hurt you directly, but it'll cause you do slide a short way without any control - it takes a little luck to come out okay.

TIP:

Don't let Inkie touch you - their black goo will blink you for more than long enough to get you killed.

TIP:

Inkie ink pools are very flammable, and if lit on fire will create a big, long-burning fire. Anything caught in the blaze will go up as well.

Try not to get squashed by the Grinder. You must “soften” the Grinder before you can attack it try luring it into a Meltie pool, or have it bump with another Grinder. Then swing your weapon carefully until you die or it die.

-Appears: In large open spaces

-Size: Big

-Movement: Towards you

-Speed: Normal

-Attack: Walks over you and kills you

-Splash Effect: None

-Fusion: No

-Specialty: None

-Way to kill: Wait for it to walk over a Meltie's acid. Now it is vulnerable. Kill it before it kills you.

TIP:

Most of the time the best thing you can do about a Grinder is get out of the way. On the bright side, they demolish basically anything they roll over.

TIP:

Grinders are big, and your swing area is not. Be very cautious when swinging anywhere around a Grinder - your weapon can break against one. Also against a Sharp.

TIP:

Grinders try and steer very subtly toward you, so it's possible to guide them into other threats (or each other, which is a different matter altogether).

Appears after a long while and will hunt you down. You need to attack it until it's fur is gone and there is a weak spot to splatter it. Deal with it like how you deal with a Biter, except that the Fuzzle takes more swings to kill, and have a better targeting system than the Biter. Dodge its charges and whack away, then attack the weak spot.

Fuzzle

-Appears: Everywhere?

-Size: Normal

-Movement: Towards you/ Straight Line when it attacks you

-Speed: Normal/Fast when it attacks you

-Attack: Bites and kills you

-Splash Effect: None

-Fusion: No

-Specialty: When it walks over a Meltie's acid it looses it's fuzz, but doesn't die

-Way to kill: Hit it until it has a weakspot and then attack the weakspot.

TIP:

Like a Super-biter, a Fuzzle is better in pretty much every way. Give them your full attention when they show up.

TIP:

It's easy to tell when a Fuzzle's about to lunge, it hunkers down and crawls for a couple of seconds first. Be careful though, while it's getting ready to jump it can adjust it's aim very quickly.

TIP:

Fuzzles are even resistant to many of the hazardous splats - they still have an effect, but it's not as severe as with other glooples.

TIP:

Be persistent when trying to splat a Fuzzle. If you knock off all of their fur, and then give them a few seconds, they'll grow it back and be just as tough as when the started. Make sure you get that last swing in when you can.

Formed by two (2) Glooples bumping together. They like you and will follow you slowly until you splatter it. Go behind it and whack it many times. Can form into a Gray if it bumps into another Gloople.

Oozle

-Appears: After Fusion

-Size: Quite Big

-Movement: Towards you

-Speed: A little slower than a Gloople

-Attack: Absorbs you

-Splash Effect: None

-Fusion: Yes (See Fusions above.)

-Specialty: None

-Way to kill: Whack it many times.

TIP:

It's a good idea to take care of Oozle wherever they pop up. Letting them hang around gives them a chance to glom together with another Green Gloople and make your life harder.

TIP:

Don't stand in front of an Oozle while trying to splat it. While you may get off a swing, you won't slow it down, and it'll just roll over you while you're getting ready to swing again.

Appears in Huge Nests. Leaves flaming tracks behind, sets Inkie puddles aflame and burns up other Glooples it touches. Do not whack it while it is burning, either wait for the flames to subside or lure it into sticky goo. If you are not wearing the Reactive Armor reward and get caught in flames, steer your character into a nearby sticky goo to dose the flames.

Torchie

-Appears: In large tree area's

-Size: Normal

-Movement: Towards you

-Speed: Normal

-Attack: If it touches you, you get lit on fire and die

-Splash Effect: None

-Fusion: No

-Specialty: It leaves little flames behind and every gloople that touches is gets burnt. If you hit it while on fire, or if it hits a hard gloople, it explodes and kills everything around

-Way to kill: Attack when it's not on fire. To do so wait for the fire to stop, or lure it to walk over a Stickie goo and it's fire stops

TIP:

Should you catch fire, you have a few seconds of panicky running about to try and put yourself out. The same things that put out most fires will work on you (although acid is not recommended).

TIP:

Once a Torchie has gone out, make sure you kill it before it has a chance to get into any flame. If it does, it will re-light itself and be just as dangerous as before. You can stomp out the little fires it leaves behind to take out some insurance against this happening.

TIP:

Torchies light almost anything they bump into on fire. This is the end of a lot glooples, but not before they have the chance to spread the fire themselves. Don't touch anything on fire, or you'll join them.

TIP:

Do not, under any circumstances, attack a Torchie while it's on fire - this is instant death, as the little beast will explode and take you with it.

TIP:

As dangerous as they are, a lot of things can extinguish a Torchie and make it an easy target. Try and use one of these methods if you don't feel like waiting for it to go out on it's own.

Appears in Huge Nests. Moves very fast and will try to bump themselves into you. Will freeze everything around when they are splattered. It will hurt you later if you don't get heat. Stickie would be good, Metlie would not be good.

Frostie

-Appears: Alone

-Size: Normal

-Movement: Towards you

-Speed: Very Fast

-Attack: Freezes you (You can't move for a while and if you get bumped you break. )

-Splash Effect: Freezes nearby Glooples

-Fusion: No

-Specialty: When you hit it you freeze

-Way to kill: Attack it. You have no other option (but dodging it until it hits something else)

TIP:

Frostie hit you and you're frozen? Hope no one else kills you.

TIP:

The blast of frozen air from a burst Frostie is bigger than the reach of your

weapon. If you don't want to be frozen at all, just dodge, don't swing

TIP:

How long you're frozen is a direct result of how far you were from the Frostie when it popped. If it hits you, you're in trouble. If you splatted it from as far away as you could manage, you'll be stuck for a couple of seconds at most.

When an Oozle bumps into a Gloople, they might become a Gray. Keep a distance from it and it will launch its lance like attack, quickly close in and take a good swing. After two (2) more successful swings and you will pretty much splatter it. If you are armed with the Razor Glaive reward then the first successful whack will splatter it. Also, you can pass through its lance without getting killed, provided that you successfully dodged it in the first place.

-Appears: After Fusion

-Size: Quite Big

-Movement: Towards you, but doesn't come to close.

-Speed: Slow

-Attack: It hit you with it's lance or absorbs you if you touch it.

-Splash Effect: None

-Fusion: Yes (See Fusions above.)

-Specialty: When you attack it while it is doing anything else than attacking with its lance you don't harm it

-Way to kill: When it attacks it is most vulnerable, dodge the attack and attack then. Continue this until it dies.

TIP:

If you have a Gray bearing down on you, but need to take a swing, it is possible to deflect it's lance with your attack. Just make sure you time it right.

TIP:

As a lethal as the Gray's tendril lance is, it's pretty easy to avoid. Mainly try not to get stunned or staggered while one is around and keep your eye on it, and you should be okay.

TIP:

Most of the time it's useless to take a swing at a Gray, they can harden into a ball of steel faster than you can get your SplatMaster3000 into them. You'll have to wait for them to concentrate on something else before you get the chance to hurt them.

It will grow bigger by absorbing other Glooples. Moves faster than the Oozle and likes to follow you around. However, it will move slower when its gets bigger. It will produce baby Amalgams and it is best to kill them before they grow and well, reproduce more Amalgam babies.

Amaglam

-Appears: Everywhere

-Size: From really small to huge

-Movement: Towards you

-Speed: Fast

-Attack: Absorbs you

-Splash Effect: None

-Fusion: No

-Specialty: It absorbs nearby Glooples and grows bigger. If it is big enough it splits and becomes 2 Amalgams

-Way to kill: Attack it until it is smaller, when it splits attack the splits. Don't let them overwhelm you.

TIP:

Persistence is the key when you have an Amalgam after you. Keep attacking, and keep on mind that every absorbed Gloople is another swing you have to make.

TIP:

The old "lure it away"

Trick won't work on an Amalgam, they stay in the attacking even if they are hidden. You have to kill them all.

TIP:

Evert time you land a hit on an Amalgam, you stun it for just about long enough to get another swing in. You can't stand right in front of it, but you can get in quite a few swipes before you'll even have to move if you get along side one.

TIP:

It's not as important to immediately chase down small Amalgam that break of the big one when you attack it - they can't hurt you until they grow bigger.

When two (2) Biters bump into one another, they become become a Horror. You can try this in practice mode if you are unable to meet up with a Horror in normal games but this is probably not required as Biters are quite common and plentiful. Just don’t splat them when they show up and let them merge. When it does the attack as shown above, run in and whack its core to splatter it in one hit.

Horror

-Appears: After Fusion

-Size: Quite Big

-Movement: Towards you

-Speed: Normal

-Attack: If it hits you die, it throws out spikes which can kill you and it performs a "special" attack where it throws 4 spike disks after you

-Splash Effect: None

-Fusion: No

-Specialty: If its spikes which it throws hit a gloople it transforms into a biter.

-Way to kill: When it performs its "special" attack run quickly to it and splash it. It can die in 1 hit that way.

TIP:

When A Horror sends it's disks after you, it becomes a bit more paranoid and makes an effort to keep a little distance from you. Don't let it draw you in long enough for the disks to come back around and slice you in half.

TIP:

It's basically impossible to know when a Horror is going to fling off a bunch of it's deadly little teeth, although it normally reserves this move for when you're too far for it to just roll over you and turn you into mulch. On the other hand, a Horror will never send it's disks after you unless you're well away from it.

TIP:

Horror teeth that it flings off of it's body aren't too hard to dodge, but if you have to you can just bat them out of the air. Also, keep track of any Green Glooples in the way: if they get hit, they'll mutate into a Biter and come after you.

-Appears: After Fusion

-Size: Quite Big

-Movement: Towards you

-Speed: Normal

-Attack: It creates something like a whirlpool and draws you near, then it kills you. It also can send you a beam, which blast you into oblivion!

-Splash Effect: None

-Fusion: No

-Specialty: None

-Way to kill: When it performs its "Blast you into oblivion"-Beam you attack it and kill it.

TIP:

You can tell the killzone around a Void Eater by where the Glooples are getting annihilated.

TIP:

It's very possible that a Void Eater could form right next to you and blast you with a shockwave before you even have a chance to react to it. The solution? Don't leave Grays hanging around.

TIP:

A Void Eater's density beam has a much more powerful gravity effect then it's gravity well. If you aren't well out of the way when it starts, you're probably doomed.

TIP:

With a Void Eater on your hands, your main concern should be staying away from it. Most of what it does will try and draw you close enough for it to blast you into oblivion, so focus on keeping your distance and wait for your chance.

( You may only count 16... That is because I'm not telling you about the last two. )|

A basic overlook of the world

Do not spawn things for you beside the green things (glooples). I am the NPC so I do that.

No Godmodding or any other OP things of that such.

Nothing that breaks the basic rules of the forum itself.

___________________________________

You were spawned in a generated world... A weapon was in your hand you were hardly wearing any clothes. There was a notepad in your pocket. Nothing to help you but this simple weapon. Your hair was messy and you were dirty. The world around you was large, and vast. It seemed to have lived for millions of years though only had been made in a year. A small green... thing moves awkwardly by you. It had no intent of doing anything, and it dispersed just as it had come.

Questions went into your mind. You sat up slowly, and scanned your area once more. Another green thing come around and continued it's moving. And then another. More and more, too many to count. A swarm of these green things. They were all over the place, and then one hit you. These things were the same size of you, and a pounding from one moving not slowly plus without stop hurt; a lot. You fell back down and in fear of what could happen next, looked for higher ground.

Grabbing your weapon tightly in your hand you attacked another green thing in your way. *sploosh* it splattered everywhere. None hit you, the green things moved farther away from you. This seemed effective. Moving quickly you continued to destroy these green things when they got in your way. The swarm got smaller and then you hit high ground.

Climbing up the rock you looked over the much smaller swarm. After a few more minutes it ended...

Thoughts fill you head. Though, the biggest one is "you must survive". Though you did not see a threat, there were obvious reasons to fear a threat. Survival is the key...

You decided to write down what you knew about this green thing.

"They are harmless, usually and afraid of contact. A weird shade of green and move awkwardly. Practially harmless unless they hit you.

The pain is brief but it can cause the air to be knocked out of you. Fearing them is silly..."

Putting the notepad back into your pocket you looked for the basics to survive: Water, Fire, Shelter.

You noticed how hot it was, so you didn't see much of a need to find something for warmth... Though the heat only made your crave for water higher. Every once in a while a green thing would awkwardly move around in your view, ignoring them was always easy. After hours of searching, and without any sucsess you see something blue from a distance.

It turned, and you saw it more clearly. It was a blue sphere... with teeth. It saw you and came at you with extreme speeds. Running wasn't an option, it was closing in. You had to do something. You weapon that had never left you hand seemed to way 1000 pounds. As it came even closer you jumped out of the way. It continued it's attack into that direction. After had only been going in the same direction for a small amount it circled towards you again, moving at it's quick speeds. In quick thinking you swung your weapon. *sploosh* The blue stuff washed over you. It tasted good, it was sweet. Sighing heavily you thought in your head "What the fuck was that?!"

Dropping the weapon you moved quickly over to the sweetness it left over. Taking it off the ground and eating it. The taste was amazing.

You ate as much as you could, not knowing when your next meal would be. Moving scarcely you checked your surroundings making sure there wasn't another one of those. Seeing a tree, you go towards it. Sitting beside it you once again took out notepad and wrote about the new monster.

"The blue ones with teeth are aggressive, once they see you they will attack. They're faster than you are. When you see one, jump to the side.

Then attack them with any weapon. Use their insides as food because of how sweet it is and it's lack of negative affect on you."

Resting by it, as more green things moved around. You wondered if there was a limit to these green things. You stabbed your weapon into the tree so it wouldn't be lost and then laid your head... But you couldn't fall asleep so you just took a rest without sleeping...

An hour or two passed your biggest fears overcame by exhaustion. It was still warm out, and you had found shelter. Food and water could come from the blue beasts, so you were safe and all good. Falling asleep, your dreams were nightmares. The nightmare of dying here. It was possible of a reality for it to be happen but it still terrified you. You fought through the dream, staying asleep.
