Gender: Male
Age: 14
Village: Leaf
Rank: Genin

Personality: If strength was measured by sheer ego, Hiro would have already been the hokage. Even with his constantly showing off, Hiro's fairly supportive of people close to him(so long as that means not touching his ego, he's the best). He loves his family, strange as his relationship is with them. His dinner table is full of nothing but quips and barbs to eachother. It always starts off with someone having caught a fish 'this big', and ends with screaming, lots of screaming, and calling each other a liar, probably the only truthful part of the conversation. It’s just their strange affection, their actions’ supportive.
Hiro might talk about himself alot, but he generally uplifts his friends and family. Those are the ones he tends to show off to the most, though. To him, a knife exhibition is as good as flirting. Hiro takes his training of 'observing people' a little too far. Him stalking a teammate for the sake of 'training' is never out of the question. He reserves Tuesdays specifically for this.
Hiro has a little bit of a knife fetish. He never shuts up about his. He could (and does) list every knife store in the Hidden Leaf, and the quality of their blades.

History: Hiro was born to a fairly normal family within the Leaf. His father was a ninja, who never went passed chunnin, still teaching in the academy. His older brother, however, was a prodigy, who at the age of 16, became Jonin. The skills his brother displayed however put him at odds with their father, causing continual fighting. Hiro adored both of them, and see them both go at it over everything, Hiro found what he'd do. He'd just be better than both of them, and shut them both up. With a great drive, Hiro decided to be better, he'd have to pick something, and focus everything on it. But he couldn't decide what. Handsigns bored him to tears, and brawling always had the same forms over and over again. Laying awake at night, he looked out to see his brother training. Again and again, his brother hit the bullseye of the target with his kunai. Then it hit him. He would better at that, knives.

Immediately, Hiro jumped out of bed, and followed his brother as soon as he finished, picking up his kunai. And he never put it down. Hiro started carrying knives everywhere. He took every chance he could get to practice. He accidentally cut himself practicing different positions in the hall between classes many times. His knife skills became great, but it wasn't enough. He couldn't ever seem to beat his brother at anything. He couldn't even beat his Dad in a spar. Ever helpful, his brother told him laughingly: "You know your opponent is fighting too, right? Poor Hiro, blind as a bat, can't see anything. Try watching your opponent." After getting the crap beat out of him by his brother immediately following this, Hiro took the advice to heart... a little too deep. He started watching people after that. Not just in combat. Hiro paid attention to how they moved, how they talked, where they were about 3:15, all those little patterns. Hiro proceeded to stalk his classmates for the next half year following this advice.

The next major event for Hiro was the 9 tails attack. Despite the fox attacking right by his house (and destroying it), Hiro's family had managed to escape. Only his brother was hurt by debris in the initial attack. It was then that Hiro had his first look at the might fox. It was the first time he felt powerless. Immobilized, he wasn't able to help his mother as he got injured as well from falling debris. That even enraged Hiro, who immediately screamed he'd get stronger than the fox, and rushed at it in the distance. Lucky for him, the beast was contained before he could get himself killed. Hiro's mother healed quickly. His brother took longer, bitching the entire way. Hiro saw this as a great chance to finally surpass his brother, and is currently training harder than ever for this, happy at his team assignments.
