Hey, just calling it like it is. Traditions =/= Set rule of procedure. I mean, just because Siegfried's the only PC throwing his name into the Kingsmoot (for sure) at the moment doesn't mean he'll definitely win either *shrug*
V-Steel? So your man knows someone who can make regular trips to Valyria? Might want to hit up Tiber, he'll likely pay him a lot just to get enough of the stuff to make Brightroar again xD

(For reals though, OOC wise V-Steel is damn near impossible to get unless a house already owns an ancestral weapon or something, just ask @Hypnos or @TheAncientCenturion )
I just don't feel because it isn't stated doesn't mean it isn't a rule, we don't know too much about Kingsmoots besides the ones we have seen and the ones we have seen has the captains of the Iron Fleet.

I don't see if the other captains that are not in the Iron Fleet aren't allowed to be there why would captains from outside the Iron Isles be?

I know that just because Siegfried is a PC doesn't mean he will just win.

But that doesn't mean I can't hope for the best with my characters and compared to the other candidates (no one I know yet) I think Siegfried stands a pretty good chance whomever he goes up ag

Well he's been a smith his entire life so it's possible that he has connections, very small, but possible.

Where does it say that only captains of the Iron Fleet are allow to throw their names in the Kingsmoot? I don't see that rule anywhere (less of a challenge and more of actually wanting to know if that rule exist in text or not).

I think it's less to do with the fact that they're not allowed but more of the high likelihood of death before the said captain can land and toss his name in the pool. Nothing's stopping the Ironborns from killing the outsider before they declare their intentions of course.

The optimism is fine, just letting you know possibilities (^.^)

Of course, there's always a possibility of things happening. Just don't be surprised if nothing comes of it. More powerful and well connected men than your character's sought V-Steel for a good portion of their lives and couldn't get their hands on it.

Same thing goes to Cayden what I wrote for Davo's character.

I don't think the Kingsmoot even has specific rules.

But it would sort of be similar for a Dornishman to march on Winterfell with his army and call himself King in the North.

I assumed it was the Iron Fleet only because the only people who have ever been at the Kingsmoot is Petty Kings of the Iron Isles or the Captains of the Iron Fleet.

I mean, technically anyone who captures Winterfell and successfully subjugates the North can call himself the King in the North, no? Regardless of the origin of such army?

I'm just going with technicalities at the moment to be honest, however improbable that might be. Sure a Dornishman can technically become King in the North, or a random to be King of the Iron Isles, but the likelihood of that happening is slim to none. It's likely that unless some major planning/plotting is utilized, the Kingsmoot would be cancelled and rescheduled just as soon as the first foreign major naval force is spotted on the horizon, rendering the person wanting to toss his name in the Kingsmoot's plan useless. It's just more speculating and observing the "rules" more than anything.

What can I say, all those years ago we shot down the wrong dragon. If we shot down Virsenya we could have gotten Dark Sister

Typicall Dornish, it was House Uller that slayed the Dragon not the cowards that bent the knee.

I don't believe that the Martells ever bowed to Aegon once, even to trick him though they did it to the young dragon

Apparently you don't need Blackfyre then
I mean, to be honest, no one needs V-Steel...

Valyrian steel is priceless. And is a killing tool. Nice try, Lannister
Sure, and unless it's made into a shield, it won't do much for you when a volley of crossbow bolts slams into your torso, but you know on the plus side, you'll die with a priceless killing tool in your hand. *shrug*

You've obviously never seen jedi in action if you think Viserys is going down that easily

Even you mentioned before Viserys as a fighter is kind of average and V-Steel has saved him more then once. Tiber's got two of the strongest PCs on his side. I don't know man xD

All I see are 2 dead men that tried to harm the one true king...

If you can't always win based off of your own skill and merit, cheat and lie about it later.

We lost two good men today, may we forever remember them. RIP Walder Frey and Mace Tyrell, you shall be missed.
