Wandering across the ocean of stars
\o/
Welcome, to this lovely list of things, thank you for your interest!
A little about me, if you happen to be interested;
- A rather drab and standard individual hailing from the equally drab and grey reaches of the British Isle (though saying that, it has its highlights, just not the bit I happen to be in most of the time)
- An anime lover, in terms not only of the shows, but the art and all things thereof; even if I don't list it somewhere on here, throw your fandoms at me if they're in that area and it might be something I've seen
- Currently working my way through college, so be patient with me if I vanish unexpectedly, it's probably education things; if that happens, I /will/ come back as soon as I can, if I'm going away for a long period of time, I /will/ let you know in advance
- My expectation are relatively standard - around 250 words a post is ample, longer when you feel you can manage it, shorter when the situation permits it. Clarity of expression should be relatively high if possible, but I know the odd spelling mistake creeps in, even with my posts
And, on to the real things, the things that you probably came for;
Outside of pairings and fandoms, plot-wise, I'm up for hearing pretty much anything with a supernatural element - be that ghosts, psychics, magic, space magic (the Force and the like), anything in that kind of genre. Settings wise, I like "epics". Think Gandalf riding across the plains on his horse, think seeing the Star Destroyer for the first time, think battles between gods and wars between mortals. Big events, lots of uses of the supernatural, heavy on imagery and religious influences.
Pairings (I'm really more comfortable doing MxF, but other combinations may be possible!);
Vampire x Vampire/Human
Knight x Commoner/Royalty
Childhood Friends
Depressed Male x Animated/Lively Female
Thinker Male x Rambunctious Female (as in, stay at home male, female who has really seen the "spice of life" and wants to show it to closed-off male)
Currently the one and only plot or idea, but here it is anyway;
The cigarette glimmered slightly in his aged hands, light rising and falling as the gentle caress of the wind billowed about it. Allowing the arm to sink to his side, the slim line of his lips parted to allow the cloud of smoke to issue forth, the great beard below the gauntness of his face making him seem as if a cloud featured giant, the tufts of his eyebrows sharp against the hollows of his eyes. A younger individual sat next to him, staring out at the garden before them. The gentle amber of the sky was beautiful this time of year; combined with the lightness in the air, one could tell the coming of spring was on the way.

Essentially, with the above style, imagine a rural town in perhaps the 50's or 60's - no more than 4 or 5 cars, and not even everyone has a TV, or a phone. The big difference, is here we have artificers - mechanics, engineers, general handymen that utilize not the base knowledge of the mundane, but the ingrained magics of the world. The magics of wood, fire, earth, stone, steel, all things earthly and strong. Throughout the village they are respected, the kind of person who receives a bundle of birthday presents even if he didn't ask for one, simply because at the end of the day, he's fixed everyone's cars multiple times. To everyone in the town, he's more like an uncle or a grandfather, than a simple mechanic.
Due to the art being so highly thought of, the craft has generated a sort of "inter-village" family - masters from other villages will likely invite others around to learn, chat, and reminisce about life. Gatherings are sometimes called, masters from across villages coming together to enjoy one another's company and chat about their trade with those who know it best. Even informal inductions and welcomings take place for new apprentices, accompanied by more conversation, more good food, and maybe even the odd drop of alcohol.
Setting wise, I'm imagining something like rural Japan in that time period, simply because I adore the beauty of the country and it really fits well for the setting and my vision of it.
The age and nature of the relationship between the characters is entirely up to us; either its a master and student, or it can become romantic and it could be a younger master with a traveler, or perhaps two young apprentices under an elderly master (I'm happy to double as the master).
Fandoms (OC's pleaaaaaase);
Sword Art Online (in the setting of either of the first two arcs/games)
Tokyo Ghoul (setting negotiable)
Noragami
Guilty Crown (setting negotiable)
Persona 3/4
With this, I'm really up for anything with characters; again, I'd prefer to play the guy.
Well, that looks like it for now; very short, I know, but really this is just stuff off the top of my head - suggest nearly anything to me, and I'll be sure to give it a think!
Thanks for reading!
