Hello! I'm Rose or Rosebud and I am looking for a one on one role-play - preferably through private messages. I may consider threads. I also have Discord. But I prefer to use that to chat and plot over.

Though I must admit, I'm not the best at giving introductions. I'd be happy to tell you more when we meet.

  1. Please read my rules before contacting me and have something in mind when you do, thank you! If you have seen this, and want to ask if I am still looking for a RP partner, the answer is, "Yes, I am."
  
  2. Please be patient and courteous. No pettiness here. My patience knows no bounds when it comes to waiting for a post. But please let me know if you need more time or would like to drop the role-play. Ghosting isn't preferred, and though I try to post weekly, I do not work well with someone who requires such. I'll either contact you or update my status if I am too busy to contact role-players individually.
  
  3. I want to world-build/flesh out the plot together and I don't appreciate it when this gets ignored. I struggle to reply to role-plays or role-play partners who can't help initiate a conversation. So I work best with someone who can at least be semi proactive and innovative. I personally love "choose your own adventure" styled role-plays. But that's not required.
  
  Note: I work best with someone who asks questions. Even if it's just about the RP. Otherwise, I feel like I'm the only one trying to make an effort to get it going, which I practically am, and if that's the case, I'll drop it easy.
  
  4. You must be at least 18+ to RP with me. Sorry.
  
  5. I'm looking to create an underlying romance where the main source of conflict resides between our top two main characters. I only do M/F romances, look to play female, and can play male as secondary's as well as share NPCs. I enjoy character interaction just as much as romance. Plot > Characters/Romance.
  
  6. I'll only double with those who give equal attention to our desired pairings. I usually prefer to play the Heroine/Protagonist.
  
  7. No god-modding, power-playing, attention whoring, meta-gaming, purple prose, grammar nazi's or perfect characters. Please try to have decent spelling, grammar, and punctuation. People do not tend to think or speak correctly, so I don't expect our characters to as well (enough to make sense though, of course).
  
  8. I work best with modern plots. I'm open to using other settings. However, I may not be familiar with a setting you might want to use. In that case, it'd help me if you could provide as many details as possible, regarding the setting you want to RP.

  1. I prefer to keep the RP PG-13, but I guess that depends, given the fact I have watched things beyond that. However, no smut. I will 'fade to black.'
  
  Rule: I don't mind some swearing. But please do not use crude words to describe body parts. Like @$$. Thanks!
  
  2. I enjoy role-playing in either the First-Person (does not mean self-insertion!) or Third-Person, past-tense. I have seen more self-inserted characters in third person.
  
  3. I'd like to RP with someone who's willing to discuss more then their characters name, age, and gender. I'd like someone who's open to discussing their characters hobbies, habits, quirks, strengths and weaknesses, hopes, goals, and dreams. This doesn't need to be complete by the time we RP. But I do believe discussing these things together help to not only create excitement but chemistry between the characters.
  
  4. Please do not neglect secondary characters in order to focus on the romance between two characters. I don't want to be the only one bringing characters in. We need to portray their friends, family, classmates, coworkers, enemies, etc. I'm not saying it needs to be a large cast. I can handle a cast with maybe 5-6 characters, maybe more, depending on my RP partner. But if you only RP as one character, and don't bother to mention others much, that's not my cup of tea.
  
  I like romance, so our characters can have alone time. But as a 'sub-plot,' not the plot.
  
  5. I adore 'love at first sight' RPs, or if you'd prefer, 'crush at first sight.' Doesn't mean it won't be a 'slow-burn,' which is required.
  
  6. How much I write a post depends on what's happening within the role-play. Write however much the situation requires. But please give my character time to react. I don't really enjoy creating essays, so I prefer 250 or less, maybe give or take one hundred. The fact is, it doesn't always take more then a paragraph or two by the time it takes only one or two of our characters to reply, while other situations may require more.
  
  7. I strongly prefer Shoujo or YA styled role-plays as well as someone who is comfortable RPing any age. But if for some reason you're not, please let me know. The last thing I want to do is make someone uncomfortable. Definitely something I never intend to do.
  
  8. I usually prefer anime or little description. I like to leave it up to mine and my role-play partner's imagination without being too specific.

  Spoiler: Good Morning Call

  Teenager Heroine has moved into her own 2DK apartment in the city as her parents have returned to the country to manage the family farm. However, she soon discovers that a good-looking classmate, is also moving in. Realizing that they have been scammed into renting the same apartment, they agree to become roommates in order to make the rental payment. The story follows their adventures as they try to keep their cohabitation a secret from their classmates, with her developing romantic feelings for Hisashi as she gets to know him better.
  
  
  Spoiler: Angel Eyes

  This is inspired by a Korean drama, revolving around an unforgettable first love relationship. MC lost her sight in an accident which killed her mother and YC father, a firefighter that attempted to save her mother but ended in vain. Ever since the accident MYC's father has distanced himself from her because she reminded him about her mother. So she is pretty much alone through the time she was growing up. YC is in his teenage years has been an exemplary son, top student in his school and also helps his mother earning for the family since the death of his father years before. Every morning he would deliver porridge to houses around the neighborhood. MC, who practiced her lines for her part-time job in the observatory every morning, has caught his attention. He could even recite the lines by heart and of course he has a crush on her.
  
  They actually met for the first time when YC's class came to the observatory for a field trip. He was excited to find her there and tried to approach her a couple of times but was ignored completely. There was a funny scene in the drama where she walks by him. His pants were either down or accidentally unzipped, I don't remember what one. He starts freaking out. But she's completely oblivious. It would be hilarious to do something like this in a role-play. But I want us to create our own original creation.
  
  He soon learns that she is actually blind and decides to help her. In the drama, they do fun things like teaching her how to ride a bike and bungee jumping. We can decide on other fun stuff for us to do.
  
  Unlike MC's relationship with her father, maybe YC has an amazing relationship with his mother and his mother accepts MC as one of her own. YC's mother was then injured after been hit by a car early in the morning and she told her son to give her eyes to MC in case anything happens, since she knew how much MC wishes to regain her sight again. Unfortunately, YC's mother died due to lethal injection (someone does not want her to expose the identity of the driver who hit her or who gave her this injection) and MC gets ot herself a donor. Little she knew that it was her boyfriend's mother who she referred to as 'mom.'
  
  YC was not able to stay until MC wakes up after her surgery because he needed to go to US for his sister’s treatment. He did left his address but MC's father hid it. Why would he do that? Before he tried to “killed” YC's mother by removing her oxygen mask for a brief seconds knowing that she wanted to donor her corneas to his daughter. So he felt guilty and blamed himself for her death thus explained him trying to keep MC's away from YC's in any way possible since MC was so attached to his family.
  
  MC regained her sights but finds YC missing. Her father on the other hand found him in US and by chance YC and MC's father met each other. YC looks up to him as a doctor who tried to revive his mother after she coded. Both of them unexpectedly developed affection for each other as a father and son. YC becomes a doctor thanks to MC's father.
  
  Some years later, YC changed his name and returned to Korea just to see MC again and hoping that their love hasn’t died just yet. However, these x amount of years is a long time for someone to wait and MC turned out to be engaged to another man (the neurosurgeon worked in the same hospital as YC). He was devastated at first but then realized that he just couldn’t do without her. MC on the other hand took a while to realize that he is her first love because she never really know how he looks like. YC'ss persistence to rekindle their first love has brought them together.
  
  The story reached its climax when MC discovered that her father attempted to kill YC's mother for her sake. No matter how much love both of them have that is the bitter truth that makes MC gave up on her relationship with YC. She has so much anger towards her father and blamed him for everything that happens. But blood is thicker than water. No matter how much she hates her father in the end she forgives him and acknowledged that his action was only motivated by her father’s love for her.
  
  Sadly her father died of heart complications. But he died crying, thinking he was the one who killed YC's mother. MC loses her sight again as a result of psychological trauma after her father’s passing. YC's as a faithful lover, stayed by her side and tried his best to nurse her to health. Dealing with depressed person is a tough job but nevertheless YC's sticks by her side night and day. She was finally cured but afterwards decided that both of them should move on without each other. But being the persistent boyfriend he is, he convinces them to stay together and they have a happier ending.
  
  I'd like us to make our own creation of a girl who is blind and falls in love with a boy, given the fact this is a description of what happened in the drama. We do not need to plot this far. But I'd love to plot along the way. I'm only including this description of what happened in this drama because of how unique and original is, hoping it might inspire something in me and the person who decides to contact me about this plot. I'd like to do something similar regarding the fact she finally is able to have an eye surgery and is able to see. But then something stands in the way of them being together. We can decide on the amount of years that pass and see how they learn to recognize each other over time. Maybe one or both of them are engaged. We can decide on this together. Or we can create a whole different spin off it, as long as majority of the creation of it is ours.
  
  
  Spoiler: Heal Me, Kill Me

  This is also inspired by another Korean drama, so I'd like to create our own original spin off this.
  The human body is capable of all sorts of things to survive difficult situations. YC is a third-generation business heir who developed dissociative identity disorder (previously known as multiple personality disorder) in the aftermath of several life-threatening traumatic events. He tries to regain control over his life with the help of MC, a beautiful first-year psychiatric resident who secretly helps him. She has the power to bring out his personalities, when the other psychiatrist has worked with him for years, unable to create that ability. So they learn he is starting to heal in by doing that. But MC's twin brother, who can be an NPC or YC, is a writer who is determined to uncover the unscrupulous lives of the rich and starts following YC around. Can YC take control over his condition before one of his seven identities takes control of him instead? Can he keep this condition hidden from the company he runs, let alone, bad people?
  
  One scene I found that was very interesting is when one of his personalities decide to kiss the girl. But the body switches back to the host, so he is surprised to find his lips on someone else's. I'd love create something of our own that's just as creative as this.
  
  
  Spoiler: Sprout

  This is inspired by a manga and a live action drama. Though this is actually a description of what happened. So again, I'd like us to create something a little more original based off this. MC is upset to learn that some fellow classmates will be moving in, given the fact she prefers her own space. Her father lost her job, so they've turned their house into a boarding house. However, she finds out the most popular boy in school happens to be moving in because he lives an hour or so away from this school. She asks YC to help keep the living situation a secret so she won't be harassed by other girls at school.
  
  YC happens to have a male friend help him move his stuff in, and it is evidence to the audience, that YC's friend likes MC, which she is oblivious to. She doesn't get a long with anyone at first. But they learn to grow on her. Especially the popular one. As time goes on, she gains feelings for your MC, while his best friend watches from a far. But much to her dismay, she finds out the one she's falling for is taken, which makes it difficult for her to live with him once again. Though he doesn't seem to catch onto the fact MC likes him, his best friend and his girlfriend catch onto it, causing his girlfriend to secretly feel uneasy about it.

Hello! Thank you for asking! It highly depends on the plot. I tend to be more of a fan of the Yakuza. But either way, it'd highly depend on the plot.
