A Royal Selection in Eternia
From birth everyone in the Kingdom of Eternia is given an Eternity Crystal. Usually worn as a necklace until the child grows up and decides for themselves how they want to wear this connection to their people and people's emotions, the power source of the kingdom, their protection and livelihood. No matter how you decide to display this part of your life, no matter where your life has gone as just one person in the sea of many, no matter what you were doing or have done, in that moment you noticed it change. You knew what it meant. You heard stories from your parents or older folk around you.
Its a kingdom tradition, dating back to the beginning of your people. The entire kingdom celebrates and waits patiently as the Royal Selection comes and goes. This is the time in which the Royal Heir chooses their spouse. Last time King Garen chose Queen Felicity. The process takes a month, for four whole weeks the handful of candidates chosen are swept up into the castle. There they live in luxury and style as they do their best to win the Royal Heir's heart and learn to become a ruler beside them. The ones not chosen become nobles or at least, become rich enough to be nobles. As a struggling citizen, just to be apart of The Royal Selection would change your life, let alone that fantasy of becoming Queen. There's tons of people in the kingdom, you would be the last one to be chosen for the current Prince
This rp will revolve around the women chosen by the Eternity crystal and the Prince that will be choosing one of them to become his Queen. The prince will be played by
Soma Schicksal
and the women chosen will hopefully be played by you. The Kingdom of Eternia is home to many species of people and uses magical crystals to power devices (though nothing modern, think steampunk but with magical crystals and a more medieval theme) The crystals can be worn in any way you like and will be permanently green until the end of the competition. The Royal Selection will consist of several events and opportunities to get close to the Prince and the royal family. The women chosen may come from all sorts of background but cannot be royal themselves. Their rank should be a noble or lower and we would prefer to not have too many nobles.
For full disclosure, we would like to emphasize that the MC won't be cheating on the female characters. In the end there will be a poly relationship between the MC and the female OCS. We would appreciate refraining from joining only to poke fun at the rp and at the genre. if there are any questions feel free to ask!
