greetings and salutations !
i have made many a search thread before but it is always refreshing to start over anew. while i am sure you all are eager to read my cravings and begin plotting, i do have a few rules and a bit of information before we get started. everything will be hidden under spoilers as not to clog up the entire page, i ask that you read it all before contacting me. if it appears that you haven't, i will drop the conversation. there is nothing more irritating and rude than laying everything out for others to read, only for them to completely ignore it. with that, i hope that you find something interesting here. and if not, good luck on your search for partners!
information about myself, my writing, and my preferences - ;- i am a twenty-one year old female that goes by either; corvus, venus, lychee, or sam
- because of my age, i prefer to roleplay with people eighteen or older. it is not a necessity, but it does make me feel more comfortable to have a partner that is as mature as i am.
- i've been roleplaying for about ten years now, on and off. i have a decent grasp on spelling and grammar, but make mistakes as others often do.
- while i can write novella replies, i find them to be exhausting and boring. i will write as much as i see fit to the roleplay. however, i will never leave you with less than a paragraph, even with dialogue. most times, i will match what my partner has given me. personally, i consider myself to be casual lit. quality over quantity is my motto.
- my preferred medium is through pms, among other things (ask about this!). i can roleplay over forums but i do not know how to code and do not wish to learn. i will attempt to make my postings pretty if we do start up a forum roleplay but it will not be as lavish and elegant as something coded.
- do not bother me for replies. this is my number one pet peeve. i understand that you are bored and want to keep going, but roleplay is something i do in my spare time. it is a hobby, not a necessity. just because i am online and talking to others, does not mean i am in the mood to write. repeatedly asking me to reply will cause me to put you off further. i am a patient person and have no problem with making you wait. i understand that this sounds rude but i have no other way to word it that will make people understand.
- congratulations on reading this wall of text! i applaud you and apologize for the torture. when sending me a pm or replying to this thread, please include your favorite animal and why you like it so much!
- i prefer to write canon x canon. i will likely choose to do a pairing like that over canon x oc. it is personal preference. however, most people on this site seem to only want to write as their ocs. because of that, i have added canon x oc pairings. be warned; if you choose one of those, i am VERY picky about original characters. i also require that we double. it is an absolute necessity. if i feel you are not putting as much effort towards my roleplay as i am yours, i will drop both.
- romance is also a must in all of my roleplays. i like for it to build up over time. other elements can be thrown in as well.
- give me western au settings and i'll love you forever.
- craving something that isn't listed? suggest it and i might entertain the idea.
