It has been 300 years since the total annihilation of all life on Earth, an event that rendered only ten percent of humanity to barely survive as they all clung to a makeshift pod that narrowly sheltered the few. This "pod" was known as Project Ark, now known as ARK, a massive moon sized mothership that presently hovers by a nearby Nebula that lost it's name centuries ago. 300 years into the present, ARK, now houses nearly 21 billion denizens that live in a unique Cyber Space World called Eden, created as a result of the massive population growth it fashioned to make. ARK's initial purpose was to transport the survivors to a new home to then colonize and grow, but, as centuries past, the new government called N.O.A.H, lead by an entity known as G.O.D. that rules over almost like an omnipotent being, deemed the new planet inhabitable, decreeing a new course to be made and followed; travel space to find a new home. However, as time went on, this new mission was forgotten, as life itself continued for the surviving generations of ARK.
It is now the year 3010 and the people of ARK have never felt better. Everything is at relative peace as humanity continues to grow under the watchful eyes of N.O.A.H. The humans of ARK no longer bound to the physical constraints it once had on Earth as they all live eternal lives until they themselves choose to die. Everything seemed to be at bliss until... the outbreak. Coming into being through unknown origins, the disease itself ravished the inhabitants of ARK, evolving so fast and so intricately that it was able to demolish AI's in the Cyber World first as a cyber virus, then transforming biologically into a living one, affecting the host's brain located inside the HUB, a chamber that houses the collective brains of ARK. As a result, those who were infected, we're thrown from the cyber world of Eden into Elysea 1 and 2, now known as Sodom and Gomorrah respectively by those ill. The once heavily famed city transformed into slums and hovels overnight, and the beautiful sceneries it once held, were now gone forever. As a response, the infected, banded together to form a coalition in order to overthrow N.O.A.H., a force known as the (need a name lol) , and as more were expelled, its power and influence grew with it. Cures for the disease have been slow since nothing is known about the disease but as time goes on, more civil unrest begin to collect. A civil war is now brewing within the ARK as chaos begins to creep back in, foreshadowing the second fall of man...

So ARK, like I said earlier, is a moon sized mothership constructed to basically house the surviving population of humanity but whats unique about it is that instead of living inside the mothership, people actually live in a Cyber Space World called EDEN created by N.O.A.H, and ultimately by G.O.D., to house the people. Inside the ship, surrounding the core, are multitudes of human brains kept safely and are the only physical representation of humanity, well the original representation.
A few miles outward towards the surface but not on it, a layer or two down, is a large city that stretches ARK's whole circumference. The city used to house a plethora of clubs, malls, parks, rides etc. basically anything earth would have had but more cooler and high tech. The only thing it didn't have, were houses, apartments etc; any form of living was done in the Cyber World until now. After the disease, all that good stuff is basically gone. The city is also separated into two layers and was originally called Elysea, the first layer, named E-A, now called "Sodom" and the second layer, E-B, now called "Gomorra". The two layers have turned into war zones although parts of the first and second layer are currently controlled by Noah. Before the epidemic, the city allowed the inhabitants to go out "physically" from the Cyber World using advanced technology to grow bodies that suited that persons personality and/or taste, and with it, they could perform physical jobs like construction, military, etc. while some just wondered as citizens. During the epidemic, the expelled citizens were forced, in a sense, to have bodies with their original brains in them, to make sure they couldn't infect the other ones inside the HUB, making them different than the ones created before. Because they were forced into these new bodies rather quickly and were at the same time, some bodies the infected possessed came out deformed fueling more hatred towards NOAH.
The government is quite different in this RP, slightly anyway. The rulers of ARK are mainly men and women "elected" by the people to represent them but however, its all a facade and the real boss on top is a being known as G.O.D. This being oversees everything in ARK, it is the core of the vessel itself and is powered by a collection of unique brains of high intelligence that form one conscience being. These special brains reside deeper near the core and only a few know about this and even fewer know of G.O.D.s existence. They didn't have the luxury to "go out" like the citizens had before the epidemic.
So the Cyber World was created initially as a result of the growing exponential population but it was also created to combat any form of genetic alterations that could form in deep space (there's also more to this but it'll be known in the RP). The brains however can still be affected hence the epidemic.
The unknown virus is a disease that unknowingly appeared out of nowhere, its origins still unknown but some in the higher ups have seen it before in the past. Its a virus that ravishes both the Physical body and also the AI's in the virtual world that ultimately leads to the brain chambers and destroys the affected brain completely, killing the person, albeit slowly overtime. The virus has now infected millions and has killed hundreds at its wake, and as a result, many doubt N.O.A.H. The pseudo name for the disease given by the infected is called "The Pestilence of David" named after David Archibald, Chancellor of N.O.A.H. The real name is however the Hourman Virus.
So this is just the gist of it floating in my head inspired heavily from "Expelled from Paradise" "Psycho Pass" and one more but I forgot. It's almost finished but I still need to add more detail to it to make it great. Overall this RP will take place inside ARK and you'll be able to RP as a character who either works for N.O.A.H. as a peace officer (military force) or the dissenting faction, who I don't have a name for. Tell me what you guys think because this is still in its infancy.
