The year is 2023
Smell of ash is thick in the air. Buildings once great and mighty laid waste across the bleak landscape. Overgrowth veined through every nook. But across the hopeless veil, stood a tree emanating a blue-ish hue. Its canopy spreads across the ashen sky like wings of an angel and the air is cleaner too...but only a fool would approach it. The tree is not a hope at all..it is death itself. Worst part of it, they are internal.
Bones and human remains laid scattered around the tree. Humanoid like creatures pale in skin radiating a similar blue aura patrols the tree. A long tongue hangs from their what to be mouth. They had no face.
