Mr. Stark I don't feel so good..
* I am looking for active and reliable partners. Meaning that if you lose interest, need to take a break for some reason, or won't be able to reply for a while please tell me.
| Quick and Easy | So I am searching for a long-term roleplay with a strong focus on character development and world building. What I want is a casual and fun roleplay, preferably a few paragraphs long (warning, my replies tend to get lengthy the more inspired I am, just a heads up), with a lot of action and heartfelt moments. Also, I rarely plan far ahead in time so be prepared to wing it.
Also, I have a thing for the dark, twisted and downright strange. This ain't gonna be no sunshine story. There will be gore, torture and there will be violence. Religion will also play a big part in this. If any of this makes you uncomfortable, this is most likely not the roleplay for you. It is not all dark and gritty, though, there will be quite a bit of romance involved.
I am only interested in roleplaying with characters 18+ years and up for this roleplay. The character I will be using is in his mid 30's and I would prefer if yours was the same. Also, I don't double, so don't even ask.. I will play supporting characters, however.
| In need of | I need a strong-willed, stubborn and independant female for this particular roleplay. The kind that stands her ground no matter what. She has to be strong, both mentally and physically.
| Setting | The setting for the roleplay is post-apocalyptic. Basically, the world as we know it is no more, everything has been evened with the ground. But that's not all..

For a long time ago, there was a great battle between Good and Evil that altered the surface of the earth forever, and nearly wiped out all life in the process.
The ones that survived formed a new society over time. But the world is far from a safe place, it's crawling with demons, and unless they are stopped they will all die. As a result a new church was founded.
For many years after the great war, children found themselves orphaned all over the place. The leaders of the new church took them in; providing them with food, safety and place to sleep; but the leaders had a plan.
Over time they began training them, moulding them, and teaching them how to fight back against the evil. These children were considered special, and the church simply referred to them as The First (of Many), as they were believed to have descended from angels.
They are known as Hunters these days.
It is said that all Hunters descend from these children, and that their blood which now flows through their veins, have made them both stronger and faster. The ones that make it through the intense training regime spends their entire life hunting demons in the name of the church.
But the church is not a sanctuary, but an institution - a place where strict order and discipline stands above all - it works as a military base, and those who are caught breaking the rules are severely punished.

| Plot | Past lovers ending up meeting again after many years apart. There are a lot of bitterness, unanswered questions and unresolved issues. What once was is no more and all that appears to be left is resentment.
There are more, such as Hunters disappearing without a trace, as well as secrets about the church getting revealed. Basically, there is a lot happening, exactly where the story leads is up to us.

| Requirements |
- You must be able to reply at least once a week. I am very patient, so if you need more time to finish your reply for whatever reason that's ok, as long as you tell me in advance. That being said, I won't wait forever. If it happens several times in a row I will most likely drop the roleplay unless I really like you. I don't mean to sound rude, but that's just how it is. Basically, the key is communication, keep me updated and everything should be fine. But yeah, once a week is minimum.
- You have to be patient. I am a very slow typer, and I spend a ridiculous amount of time looking over and adjusting my reply before I post, I typically won't post anything I'm not happy with. That and I work a lot in periods, meaning I won't be able to reply more than 1-3 times a week.
- You have to be willing to come up with ideas to move the story along. Don't expect me to do all the work. And you don't always have to tell me whenever you got a great idea, I love surprises! (Unless it affects the roleplay in a really big way, that is, then you should tell me :p )
- No powerplaying, godmodding or metagaming please!
- Original characters only
- Lastly, I am very picky as to whom I chose to roleplay with. The chances are I am going to have to decline if I feel our styles are too different.
