A Nightmares Dream(1x1 between SkyFilms and Ms. Nix)

SkyFilms

Sir Sky, A Knight of RpNations Kingdom
Name:

August Willems

Nickname:

Blue

Age:

17

Nightmare/Dream:

Dream

Personality:

Blue has always been quite the oddball, ever since she was only a little girl. She was born to be creative; from drawing masterpieces on walls with crayons to making music with spoons, pots, and pans. She was always a very artistic girl, and has remained as such to this very day. She's also very optimistic, or at least tries her best to be, but even she can't be happy all the time. Many don't realise this, but Blue is very fragile and softhearted. Though, in her past seventeen years of life, she's learned to be stronger and can handle day-to-day life situations much better than she did once before.

Now, Blue knows no personal boundaries, possesses her fair amount of pride, and loves to cause a little mayhem when she sees fit. All she wants to do is have fun and make everyone around her laugh and smile, be it at her expense or at theirs. She has a very curious and mischievous soul, and you may even catch her sneaking into your room and sleeping in your bed from time to time. However, it's not always fun and games with Blue. She also has a very determined and steadfast nature, and when she sets her mind to something, she won't stop until she's finished and it's perfected. This goes with her manga, anime, other art forms, her musical pieces, and her singing. She'll never stop practicing until she's got it right. Blue is known to inspire people due to this quality in her.

Though, as soon as you take note of her extremely eccentric personality, you'll wonder if she's even human. Many people call her an alien because she sometimes acts like she's from a completely different world entirely; a parallel universe, fair say. Sometimes, it's like she's in her own little daydream, and it's almost as though she's completely oblivious to everything else going on around her in the "real world." She believes that her world is the real world, and she plans on striving to make her ideals a reality for everyone to see, not just her. Not only is Blue focused on bettering herself, she's always up for helping others better themselves, too. Blue never knows when to stop poking her nose into other peoples' business, but no matter what, her intentions are always good and pure.

All in all, Blue is a very compassionate and sweet girl, though she's quite the weirdo at times. She's been misunderstood almost her entire life, but now, she's simply proud to be herself, and she knows no shame.

Name: Dimitrius Anthony Reeves

Nickname: Dimitri

Age: 18

Nightmare/Dream: Nightmare

Personality/Bio: One might think Dimitri was perfectly cut out for being a Nightmare based on his appearance, but he actually had a lot of difficulty adjusting into the Nightmare community. He was a rather average child, fairly happy and peaceful until the whole Nightmare things started. All his life, Dimitri has felt pressure from people all around him to be what they want him to be. He also feels high expectations that have been pushed on him as a Nightmare, and none of those things were ever what he wanted for himself.

He was born into an average, working family where his life was average but comfortable. Since before he was born, Dimitri’s father wanted him to go into business. When his father learned that Dimitri wasn’t “normal” he left the boy and his mother within a few years. Dimitri hates his father for this reason but also feels responsible for making him leave. Dimitri’s mother was a Dream, and she had hoped Dimitri would also follow in her footsteps. Though she was a little disappointed when he became a Nightmare, she continued to show her support as if nothing had changed her views of him. She is a good person, compassionate and accepting. She always loved him and did everything she could for the boy. Dimitri knows this and cares deeply for his mom, more than anyone else in the world.

After Dimitri was declared Nightmare, he stopped smiling as much. He grew serious and even a bit cold. He realized that the nightmares would never stop now…that his dreams would never be happy. Dimitri has sort of come to terms with this fact and tries not to wallow in self-pity since it won’t change anything. He pretends he is callous to the things that haunt his mind in his sleep, but he still hurts.

Dimitri is kind of seen as a “cool kid”- mysterious and interesting to his peers. Though not blatantly rude, Dimitri has a quick temper that causes him to react harshly when others are bothering him. He doesn’t yell often, but he responds sarcastically more often than not. Though he seems unapproachable and unfriendly, he is actually quite accepting or at least respectful of others and their differences; however he tends to push others away when they get too close for his comfort. Dimitri doesn’t like to talk about his family or his past or his feelings- basically, he’d rather not talk about himself much at all, which doesn’t help when trying to make friends. Therefore, Dimitri doesn’t have many friends at all. Though he does nothing to change this state, he doesn’t actually like being alone.

Dimitri’s best qualities are his loyalty and self-sacrificial nature. He is also very trustworthy and would never betray a friend. On the other hand, he can be a bit contradictory and seems bipolar at times. His temper can flare quickly and he tends to hold grudges, and though he appears to get along with others, he actually doesn’t like most people. Dimitri carries a lot of guilt and insecurity, so life in general can be hard on him sometimes. At heart, he is a bit of a nerd. He always gets good grades in school, and he loves reading, music, and theatre. In fact, he plays the viola and once dreamed of being a musician.

Other:

Time.

Such a simple thing that holds no actual limits, free of any possible restraints that could cease it from moving forward. Even if a person where to become a lifeless shell, time wouldn't bat a single eye as it's ticking mocked a hearts beat. The secret killer continuing with it's never ending career though what it may see.

Time is our warden.

Time is our life.

Time is our death.

Such an eternal creation marked our daily lives, ruling over them like a sick king cloaked in black as it prepared for each of our varying deaths.

How could a thing we gave life to treat us like slaves.

Three hours. 180 minutes. 10800 seconds. Was the amount of time which reigned supreme over the Heterochromian girl as she ran through the deserted streets free of a marked destination. Each rushed step only sent another explosion of raindrops upwards to soak into her stockings and paint the back of her thighs as she stalked through puddles. The buildings she passed melted into one another creating a blank canvas painted with occasional stars that fell from the clouded sky.

Taking in strained breaths the more she sprinted forward the more it seemed three hours was an impossible amount of time. The clouds of air she released from her mouth floated still for a single moment before cloaking her frames, almost in an attempt to fail her.

Blue, a single splash of blue in her dull surroundings. The speeding dot of color ran through out the unknown streets passing other students but rarely as she continued her expedition. A hum of music occupying the air around her, warming her insides as her exterior was falling victim to the nights chill. The girl saw it as a sign, the mysterious yet familiar tune almost like a compass as she grew closer to the roaming beast.

She had a small guess as to the appearance of her newest creature but, it was a mere thought nothing official. Blues eyes darted from side to side when she without much thought halted, her mind held no part in this decision to stop. It felt like instinct as she leaned forward onto the balls of her feet, knees bent her body still in the middle of a four way road.

"I'm not going to play this game of hide n seek, how about tag?" August exclaimed into the darkness shutting her eyes to emphasize her annoyance,

"Whether I've tamed you or not I'm still your owner and we're going to play a different game! C'mon tag!" She spoke up once again like a child her booming voice growing in amplitude as she only wanted the creatures attention. It seemed as if the teens words had ceased any nearby noises, save the quiet splatter of drops falling from ledges.

When a soft sound grew in the distance, much like a horses feet on pavement. She looked upwards, her thin braid resting on her should a joyful grin forming as the wished for being approached the harp tune intensifying inside of not the girls ears but her chest, the beat drumming along with her heart.

Then it's form became clear, it was approaching her from the right. It's body a blotch of mysteries drenched in the shadows, it came towards her at break neck speed. Within a few moments they stood within feet of one another, the creatures breaths coming out in determined puffs its eyes dazzling like gems.

Any normal person would move from the beasts path, but when Blue was called a 'spazzy freak' it wasn't used lightly. At the last moment the animal strayed from the teen skimming her arm just as she reached towards the beautiful concoction. Her pale fingers sprawled apart as they reached towards the harp shaped mane which protruded from the living thing. Her expression soft as she reached towards something to take hold of.

But as her slender fingers made their home around one of the bars her other hand shot forward without thought taking hold of the same spot. Blues eyebrows knitted together as she let out a yell of aggression and will, her contorted expression holding to many emotions to define.

But the creature saw no need in slowing down, only speeding forward as she held on for the sake of not wishing for road rash. A single leg slung over the savages back as her other sneaker skimmed the concrete behind her.

"You're it punk!" Blue screamed into what was believed to be the horse like creatures ear, a snort its only response.

( xD , I felt so stupid writing her like this. But she is weird like that.)

Darkness fell behind a solemn boy as he stood before an empty wood. A darkness beyond any other- the kind of darkness that clouded the eyes and even the heart. The darkness followed him everywhere, as if bound to his form even in the daylight. Yet the shadows were his home, and they would never be anything but his refuge. Though the light of day had not completely vanished behind the cloud-filled skies, it was dark enough to make the young man comfortable and alive. A small screech split the air as the wind blew through the trees, but Dimitri heard it. He smirked a little before raising his fingers to his lips and releasing a whistle into the open air. Before long, the sound of wings beating against November's crisp atmosphere entered the boy's ears as the massive creature approached.

"Zephyra," he said, "Let's go get her."

With those words, Dimitri mounted the griffin in a swift motion. The two rose gently above the trees, gliding as one through the thick branches. The griffin's shrill cry pierced the air as she spotted motion beneath them. Dimitri looked down as they flew through the city. He saw other students moving about, but they paid him no mind. In this place, beasts weren't unusual in the least. Dimitri's eyes skimmed over the sights below, but nothing caught his eye until a flash of blue appeared in his field of vision. The boy narrowed his eyes and signaled for Zephyra to slow down. Dimitri stared at Blue inquisitively for a moment, feeling like he had seen her before. Yet, at this distance, he couldn't be sure. Without wasting any more time, he urged Zephyra onward and away from the girl.

The streets were soon behind them as Zephyra carried her master toward the green land with a large body of water interrupting the surface. Dimitri nudged the griffin toward the water, assuming that was where he would find his newest creature. "Down there, Zephyra. It's bound to be near the water," he said aloud. The griffin screeched as if to reply as she descended toward the earth.

Dimitri was right- soon enough he spotted a creature flopping around by the shore. He hopped off of Zephyra's back just before she touched the ground and stepped toward the other creature. The animal hissed at Dimitri and flopped away from him. "Easy there," he said calmly. "I'm not gonna hurt you." The beast hissed again, snapping its jaws as Dimitri eased toward it. He stretched out his hand slowly, but apparently it was still too quick for comfort, since the animal bit the boy before hissing again and diving into the water. "Damn it, you little monster...that hurt," Dimitri muttered to himself, quickly pulling away. He looked down at his bleeding hand and scowled. That thing sure had some sharp teeth. Dimitri looked out at the large body of water. This was going to be more difficult than he anticipated.

The raven-haired male stuck his hand into the water, letting the blood wash away. The waves brushed over his hand, soothing the pain a little the longer he kept his hand under. His emerald eyes searched the moving waves, searching for the small being that bit him. Dimitri smiled as he noticed a circle of ripples near the edge of the water. "Gotcha." He stood and carefully made his way to the side, making sure not to scare it off this time. "Come on little fella, I promise I'm friendly," he coaxed, noticing the monster's head poking out from the surface. Its flippers paddled easily in the blue liquid, but it made no moves to approach or flee this time. "Well if you weren't curious about me, you'd leave by now," Dimitri told the small Loch Ness monster with a shrug. He sighed and reached into his pocket, producing a dried fish and holding it out toward the creature. "I hate resorting to bribery, but I guess whatever works..."

Dimitri spent almost an hour trying to coax the animal out of the water, but his efforts finally paid off. While it was eating, Dimitri quickly snuck a rope around its neck and looked at it with satisfaction. "See, that wasn't so hard, right?" The creature hissed angrily, clearly unhappy about being caught. It snapped at Dimitri's hand again, but the boy grabbed its jaws, holding them shut. "Uh-uh. We don't do that," he said scoldingly. "You don't bite the hand that feeds you, okay?" he said, staring the animal in the eye. Once it calmed down, he let go and tossed it another piece of fish. "I suppose it would be easiest to call you Nessie, right?" he pondered. "But that sounds just too traditional." Dimitri thought for a few moments before snapping his fingers. "I've got it. Your name will be Nessa Rose," he decided, pulling the name from a musical. He patted the creature's head gently and lifted it easily, feeling grateful it was still quite small. Dimitri whistled again for his griffin and held Nessa Rose on his lap. "Alright, Zephyra...let's go home."

Dimitri sighed out of relaxation, glad it hadn't been too much of a chore to get the new beast. Night hadn't even come yet, so he was doing quite well on time. From here on, everything should be smooth sailing for the rest of the night. Or at least, that's what he thought. Unexpectedly, Nessa Rose bit the griffin's neck as they were flying back to civilization, and the creature screeched before plummeting toward the ground. "Hey! Come on, Zephyra- calm down!" Dimitri exclaimed, thrown out of balance by the sudden motions. His grip tightened on the Loch Ness monster as felt himself falling toward the hard, stony streets and closed his eyes to brace himself.

The parting blue sky was slowly disappearing into the overtaking oranges and yellows. The deep red mesmerizing in the distance as the wind fought against a defying force, a living being which lacked any ounce of fur. Its reptilian skin making it difficult for the riding individual hanging from its side to keep a strong grasp with their clammy grip.

The empty streets leaving no obstacles as the fast paced being sprinted forward without thought, only wishing to separate itself from the warm female on its back. The world was a blur beside them and every sensation of the air brushing past Blue, each scent and sight came at full speed yet everything about the beast felt as if it happened in slow motion.

The drum of its fast heart pounding into its ribs as if threatening the creature about its limits with each attack to the bones. It's muscles stretching with each motion a natural warmth permeating off of it.

It was odd, no. That wasn't the correct word, what Blue was experiencing now was new something she'd never find herself feeling so openly unless she was re watching Vampire Knight. What was it?

The click of the beings feet atop the ground as they slammed into the concrete, each step like a graceful prance as it shoved itself off the ground to pick up speed. The clack imitating a womens heels on tiled floor, the probably expensive shoes always being owned by a gorgeous women it seemed. Then it hit her, admiration. The emotion that caused her cheeks to flush was admiration towards the beast. For it was beautiful, a single word meaning so many things described this single living being.

It's determination and will to remain free was beautiful, the life of its heart making streaks of color to flow through it like veins.

"Beautiful..." Blue murmured her hands readjusting on the musical instrument protruding from the horses skull. And as if the word had triggered something the creature sped forward, it's head bobbing up and down in time with each stride. The teen bit her lower lip as she melted her body into the animal keeping away from hitting a passing light post. When suddenly the horse like creature let out a screech but that isn't the correct word to describe it. The sound was like a song, a stunning tune that caused the bars from its neck to vibrate bringing Blue to come to the realization that they where its vocal chords.

Each being had a different way of being tamed, perhaps you may need to fight one and prove yourself by defeating it. Maybe bribing it or simply reaching its standards appearance wise. The tests all varied, now taking this into account Blue craned her neck so her lips where once again near its ear.

"Make my wish come true, let darkness fade to light. Show me there's still hope show me it's not over. Perhaps we can win, our struggle lies within. Will we live to greet the dawn?" She began the delicate tune, her voice soft despite the intense motions which left them uneven constantly.

"Love will not leave you...Hate will not heal you. Promise me that peace shines..." Her voice seemed to hold the creature in a trance as she completed the song with a quiet trill.

The steps took their time as they slowed down to a halt in the middle of the vacant road. Blues strained fingers gradually allowed her to let go of its hold. Her body crumbled to the ground her eyes glued to the creature she believed to now be tamed. It's brilliant gaze staring her down a stare which only a women could hold, the independent glare dazzling the remaining light.

"Beautiful...Beautiful Annie." She stated in a shaken tone, her discolored eyes peaking through her frames which she continuously had to slide back up her sweat layered nose. Blue took a moment to collect herself and her thoughts her crooked grin on her face just as she pumped a fist into the air.

"Suck it time, I won''t be your toy!" She shouted her eyes shut as she was exhausted both physically and mentally. When she opened them once more it was for the reason of hearing a snort from Annie, looking up she watched its chest as it expanded with each breath before it let out another elegant tune. About to question the use of the urgent yell from the corner of her eye she saw another person fall from the heavens.

"What? Don't people know they can't fly?" Blue joked half heartily as she tugged herself onto the back of Annie like she had seen herself doing within her dreams. Her braid flapping against her back as the creature knew well what they where doing, using what energy it had recovered during their small break to sprint in the direction of where they believed the living individuals where to land.

Dimitri could’ve sworn he heard music. Maybe that was a stupid thing to be thinking about as he raced toward the earth, but that’s all that popped into his mind for the moment. It was a gentle, but majestic sound that filled him with awe and wonder- perhaps the only awe and wonder he would be feeling for a long time.

Dimitri groaned as his back hit the hard ground, the side of his head also striking the surface. Somehow, he managed to keep his grip on the Loch Ness monster all the way down, his grip only loosening when he made contact with the street. His eyes fluttered with pain and slight confusion as he opened them, and he saw Nessa Rose sliding off his body.

“No, don’t go-“ he started weakly before giving up. The boy closed his eyes and touched his throbbing head. “Aw man…” he sighed. Dimitri rubbed his eyes and looked down when he felt smooth skin nudging the side of his face. Nessa Rose hadn’t left him. Dimitri smiled at this and patted the creature’s head. “Thanks,” he said as he sat up. The boy winced as he looked down at scraped body. He saw traces of blood and dirt, and he knew he would be sore tomorrow. Dimitri looked around for his griffin, but the creature was nowhere in sight. He sighed and tried to whistle but found he simply didn’t have the energy to do so. “Well I guess it’s just you and me, huh Nessa Rose? Looks like we’re walking back.”

The young man shivered as he stood shakily; the crisp air wasn’t helping his cuts. The little Loch Ness monster cried out, as if to encourage him. Dimitri shook his head but couldn’t hold back a smile even as he chastised the animal. “You’re a troublemaker, little miss. I’m gonna have to keep an eye on you, won’t I? Look at this- you caused this mess, you little rascal. Are you happy?” The Loch Ness monster bellowed and lowered her head in shame. “Just behave from now on, okay?” Dimitri suggested.

He observed his surroundings for a moment, trying to confirm his location before declaring a path back to the boarding school. He figured out where they were, but unfortunately, they were still on the outskirts, a bit far away for someone on foot. At this rate, the two of them might not make it back before nightfall.

Dimitri turned as he heard the music again. Maybe he wasn’t imagining things. The boy squinted as he saw figures in the distance, moving toward him at a pace faster than he himself was moving. He tilted his head to the side in question and curiosity. His vision wasn’t crystal clear at the moment, but he was pretty sure he was seeing a girl riding some peculiar antelope-type creature. Dimitri sighed. Awesome. Although he wasn’t much for making impressions, the boy found it ironic that he was about to meet some random girl the one day he looked like utter crap. Dimitri sighed internally as he imagined introducing himself. “My name is Dimitri, and I fall off of griffins. Nice to meet you.”

The sun made its descent in the horizon behind them as the shadows grew longer. The black masses stretching a cross the streets towards them like hands, fighting to take hold of them as they passed by. With such a glorious scene set for the racing duo and the amount of practice within her dreams in retrospect Blue expected herself to be a natural in riding Annie.

No.

What the girl expected was far from what time had planned for her. Blues feet scrambled up and down Annies sides trying to find a sort of foot hold, but the task was difficult as each step Annie took would only send her into the air before slamming into the creatures spine each painful step.

"You're damaging me!" Blue exclaimed but couldn't express her irritance as her grip on the beings vocal chords was lost and her arms flew behind her as she hooked her legs around the animals body. Her thighs pinching the being so tightly she feared that she was damaging the animal and so without much thought reached downwards.

Pressing her body into its slick build her jittery hands slithered around its body to the front of its ribs where she laced her fingers into one another in an attempt to stay on.The girl mentally pleading to get to their destination sooner rather then later, for both herself and the falling humans sake. She wondered what had perhaps happened, what had been the reason behind the figure falling. Perhaps they saw me and fell head over heels for me, the thought made the girl giggle at the impossibility of that being the current case.

Blues bangs flew through the air smacking into her face due to having lost the pins long before her current predicament. But it was a bit exciting, despite her uncomfortable position it felt nice to act as almost a knight running after the princess or in this case the prince. She wondered when they'd get there, scared that the boy had hit the ground to roughly and was slowly bleeding out. The image of a faceless individual dying in the middle of the street sent a chill down her spine as if a soul had just breathed down her neck.

"Annie! Hurry it up please!" Blue shouted as her grip grew tighter prepared for the wind around her to intensify. But was instead met with a sudden jolt forward which flung her clinging body off of the living being and onto the ground. Her limbs flipping around herself until she finally landed on her bottom eyes scrunched shut. Her glasses unable to hold onto her face as well falling to the ground from where they where perched.

"Oh Goddess." Blue murmured her fingers skimming the ground in front of her in search of the frames scolding Annie for abruptly stopping. She was a blind bat without her glasses and almost missed the black shadow before her.

"Stranger! Falling stranger is that you? Are you okay?" Blue yelled mentally hoping that her assumption was correct. It seemed Annie had seen them and stopped telling her of their position without words.

Dimitri raised an eyebrow as he looked upon his savior who had also fallen to the ground. He stared blankly at the girl for a few moments, observing as she stumbled around. It made him feel a little better that he wasn’t the only one having trouble with his new beast, but what was she, like…ten? Judging from her voice and clumsiness, perhaps it was safe to assume so.

“Um yeah…I’m fine, thanks.” Dimitri spotted the glasses and picked them up. “Here. Your glasses,” he said extending the frames toward her hands. It was then he felt something strange that made him take a step away from her. She was a Dream. She had to be.

Dimitri’s eyes narrowed as he recoiled, putting a few feet of distance between himself and Blue. Yep, definitely a Dream. And as soon as she got her glasses on, she would probably be able to peg him as a Nightmare. It was a terrible thing, really- the discrimination was so immediate, yet inevitable. Nightmares and Dreams lived in different worlds, or at least, that’s how it always seemed to Dimitri. From his experience, Dreams were always seen as the good guys, and Nightmares were bad. Either that or the Dreams always looked down on the Nightmares as if they were mentally troubled children. The latter was not far off, to be honest. But it wasn’t really their fault they couldn’t dream happy things. It wasn’t their fault for screaming in the middle of the night, for waking up in cold sweats, for envying those who got a full night’s rest. It just wasn’t their fault…it wasn’t his fault.

Dimitri clenched his fists and pursed his lips, anticipating some snide remark from Blue and hating the thought of what she would say to him. Yet, for some reason, he soon relaxed as though he knew she wouldn’t be so cruel. She just didn’t seem like the others. Plus, the longer he stared at her, the more he felt like he had seen her before. But more than that, he felt like he knew her- perhaps from a dream, or a nightmare rather…or maybe from a distant memory. Dimitri shook his head, trying to remember. The Loch Ness monster let out a sound as she flopped up and stopped beside Dimitri, her front flipper slapping against the boy’s leg clothed in now-torn black fabric. He rubbed his head, partly because it was still throbbing and partly because he was combing back through his memory in search of Blue.

Dimitri didn’t remember many things about his past very vividly anymore. He recalled mostly disappointment and unhappiness that had existed in his heart from the very beginning. He remembered a few moments of happiness. Although his mother said that his childhood had actually been quite peaceful, Dimitri couldn’t really remember that. The nightmares seemed to consume everything that had ever been good or pleasant about his life until those beautiful memories were only roses choked out by thorns.

The boy’s eyes swam with confliction and confusion, moving from Blue, to her creature, to his own companion, and then to the ground. He took a deep breath. This might be a long shot…the chance that this girl was actually someone he knew as a child or even that he would get her name right was rather slim, but he figured it was unlikely they would be seeing each other again anyways, so what was the harm?

“August?”

Blues vision was as useful as playing ISpy with a blind person, but probably just as entertaining at the moment. Her fingers dancing a cross the pavement as if she where playing an unseen piano, having to depend on her working senses during her pursuit for the frames. She'd sneak glares upwards every once in while when possible but would constantly be met with the same grey smudge, a sigh escaping her lips each time with the new layer of defeat. Prepared to swallow her tiny bit of pride and ask for the fellows help but before she could speak a rich voice met her ears. She looked upwards her thin bangs covering a single eye as she fumbled forward before grabbing the metal accessory from the boy purposely grazing his hand casually unable to dislike the feeling of another persons skin.

"That is just dandy to hear Mr. Stranger," Blue spoke cheerfully as she leaned forward over the glasses as she cleaned the surface of the glass with the lower edge of her royal sweater. Then placed them on the top of her nose sliding it up her slim bridge which mimicked a sky jump.

"Thank you." She quickly added after the statement as she pushed herself off her bare knees and stood before the boy seeing him in clarity for the first time. And a small amount of uncertainty made its way to her expression mixing with her new found uncomfortability. A sensation that caused her to step back as well, the feeling of the boys piercing gaze digging into her.

A Nightmare.

Although she was a very open and expressive person she didn't know how to react at that moment. Her hands tugging at her sleeves as Annie stepped in beside her nudging her elbow caringly until Blue slid her hand up and onto the creatures nose rubbing the leathery surface with her thumb. A habit she'd usually perform on herself when confused or in thought.

For she had never interacted with Nightmares unless going against one in a mini tournament counted in which it really shouldn't. Thus she bit her lower lip, thinking about how they weren't even supposed to be in the presence of one another for the sake of the society they lived in.

But as well because rumors where always spread about the other class, they all knew. Blue attempted to keep away from them but she couldn't call herself innocent in that type of situation now after hearing the statements begin around her as she sat in her corner of solitude in her many classes.

She'd heard plenty of times about how the Nightmares would often times wake up screaming over their dreams and the experiences they put them through. She had been told plenty of times about how they where all below average intelligence and couldn't be trusted with a simply addition problem, that their savage like brains wouldn't be able to comprehend them told that they're only mind set involves the destruction of those who oppose them.

At the murmuring rumors Blue shook her head side to side to rid herself of the terrible thoughts, knowing that her parents wouldn't be happy if they witnessed her following such assumptions. So finally she looked up from Annie's snout opening her mouth to greet the boy but instead he stole her chance.

At first she was confused and fearful of how the boy knew her name prepared to become defensive and order to know his stalker resources.

But ever so slowly those dull exhausted hazel eyes became brighter to the point that they imitated those of a young boy she knew long ago.

"Dimitrius you little scamp is that you?" August suddenly exclaimed removing her hand from Annie and taking a long stride forward so she where only a couple inches from the boy eyeing their height difference And as she concluded that he had finally become taller her lips puckered forward as she pouted,

"You're taller now..."

Wow...she was really blind without her glasses. Dimitri blinked, expressionless as Blue searched for the frames until he felt her hand touch his. He instantly pulled back, the muscles in his arm growing stiff and uncomfortable with human contact. He waited, standing there awkwardly as the realization seemed to dawn on the girl as well. Yes, he was a Nightmare. Yes, she was a Dream. Glad that had been established, Dimitri had been ready to move on with his life and get back to his school where he belonged. Though, when he realized that he had been right in guessing her name, Dimitri hesitated to leave so quickly. However, he was taken aback slightly at her response. She just called me a scamp, he frowned to himself. The nerve of that girl...though I suppose she was always a bit obnoxious, even as a child...

"Yes, it's me," Dimitri sighed at the use of his name. Dimitrius...it was such a stiff and serious name, he had always thought. The only ones who used the whole name in its entirety were his parents- his father, whom he despised, and his mother when she was angry with him. To hear it again made the boy a bit unhappy. Dimitri folded his arms as Blue approached him, subconsciously putting a bit of distance between the two, as it seemed the girl still had no personal space boundaries. Dimitri could vaguely recall her tackling him in their younger days, as if Dimitri really needed to pay the ground a visit. "And yes...I am taller," he added. Dimitri admittedly felt a bit proud of this, not that he was surprised he grew taller than the female.

Dimitri felt a slight stinging sensation on the tips of his fingers, and he looked down to see Nessa Rose nibbling on lean appendages. "Stop that," he muttered harshly. Though his voice was stern, the boy only poked the creature's nose gently, causing the monster to sneeze and behave. Dimitri looked at Blue's creature, Annie, before addressing the girl again. Annie was quite magnificent, and Dimitri appreciated all the various species that sprang from the slumbering youthful minds. "So, I assume you were on a hunt as well..." He wasn't quite sure what else to say. This was a rather awkward encounter, at least in Dimitri's opinion. He couldn't remember the last time he had seen August, or if she even went by that name anymore. She had responded to it, so maybe he was in the clear.

"So...August...how have you been? I see you are a Dream now. I hope things are going well for you, then." Dimitri felt odd saying such a thing. Still, what was one supposed to say or do in these sorts of situations? He figured he should be polite, but maybe she really didn't care to talk to him any more than they already had. The boy probably hadn't even crossed her mind during the past several years. To be totally honest, Dimitri didn't often think of her- perhaps in a rare, fleeting memory, but that was all. He didn't remember hating her, so that was a start. Their slumber days had been peaceful, or so he believed. Yet, the past seemed like a leaf swept away by the wind, and Dimitri felt as though he could never catch it if he tried.
