Human knowledge and curiosity only grow with time seeing as our thirst to figure out and control the unknown is almost never quenched easily, so we have a habit of stepping far past the boundary known as the safe zone and walk dangerously close to what we know as chaos. The only way to actually get the thirst that longs for adventure and excitement is to get close and personal with death himself, so when scientist came across an hidden cave in some of the highest mountains they of course couldn’t keep themselves from taking a little peek at it. The cave was rather normal with a few fossils and odd colored rocks; just as they were expecting. Only when they returned back to the lab did they find a sort of disease as some would say within the cracks of the rocks, so they took safety precautions and made sure that this unknown parasite-like illness wouldn’t escape from the lab.
They studied what sort of harm it could bring and the tests all led to one thing; Mutation, and death. They soon called it the Kurushi disease; its effects actually depended upon the species and how easily they can adapt to things. When given to a common day house dog, the animal would start to form growths of the sort such as bumps and sometimes even limbs in places where they shouldn’t be, the animal also became rather vicious towards any other living thing, but that was only during the first day. On the second day of being infected with the disease the animal grew rather large, larger than a grizzly bear and was hard to contain due to its ever growing aggression towards anyone with a pulse. On the third day, the animal killed two researchers and injured one of its handlers.
They were forced to put it down in order to keep those researching Kurushi safe. The handler seemed fine for the first three hours of being treated at the hospital, but once the fourth hour of being infected with the disease started he began riving in pain, telling the doctors that his insides felt as if they were being twisted and ripped apart. After twenty minutes of being informed of this, the doctors decided to see what could be the problem, but returned to the patient’s room to find that he had passed away. The cause of death; his organs had been turned to liquid; the mortician working upon him found that he was also decaying faster than normal.
It was only two months after the mans death did the scientist give up on researching any further, and locked the rocks holding the killer disease way. It was quiet and normal as usual for the next few months, but on May, 12, 2056 a sudden outbreak occurred with over five hundred deaths in one city alone. The outbreak began spreading further and took out nearly two cities in Japan and three states in the U.S.A before anyone decided to do anything. Each country pulled fifty names out from a sort of raffle that each one of them held, those who were picked were to be put into a sleep for at least one hundred years in a sort of time capsule that had been created in Japan. The plan was that they could sleep peacefully through the horrific time and hopefully wake to a world that is no longer infected with such a horrible disease. That was the plan at least, that doesn’t necessarily mean it would go in that direction, and it hadn’t. Those who were chosen woke to a world worse then the one before they were put into a slumber.
Information on time capsule-
The capsule stops the aging process, there fore no one will grow any older while sleeping, and when the patients wake it will seem as though they haven’t been sleeping for long. Their legs and arms will be movable even though they’ve been sleeping for such a long while.

There must be some struggle when fighting/escaping dangers
Not everyone should be a good guy/girl there has to be a few…dangerous people.
Not all conflicts will be dealt with easily.
Swearing and violence is, of course, allowed.
Please don’t make your character super depressed because of some sad past.
Do not force characters into a romantic relationship.
This Rp is more of a survival type thing, so romance doesn’t even matter all that much if your character doesn’t find ‘love, or romance’ at first don’t whine or cry about it.
Weapons are allowed, but they must be something that you could find in every day life such as a knife or a baseball bat, ect.
