This roleplay takes place in the slightly dis-utopic universe of the Power Puff Girls.
With this game I would love to explore the lives of the more mature Power Girls, nearly fifteen years in the future, facing a more serious world were every decision faces critical reception. They are constantly evaluated for their mental stability and physical health. The girls are watched under a microscope because while they are the nation's greatest first defense they are also the greatest potential threat. Other than having a massive repertoire of supernatural abilities they know their country's every dirty dirty secret. The Girls no longer live in Townsville, their home base is in Washington D.C., the capital of the Great Northern Powers (GNP), formerly the US. They work for a government organization (that is temporarily without name, just for reference, the equivalent to S.H.I.E.L.D from the Marvel universe) that both trains them and keeps them happy--in the sense that they provide them shelter, education, resources, and a stipend in their personal bank accounts.
The plot will be a mixture of the two ideas below but I haven't quite decided how it will pan out. They are described in a nutshell since I think a story should always have some form of surprise in it.
- A devastating force is upon Earth. With technology and influence equal or greater to the Power Girls. Not to be cliche but it could be an intergalactic force to collect their resources. Their enemy makes it very clear what their intentions are, but after more encounters more is discovered about why. The girls begin to think on this and question their direction and their future.
- The other idea focuses more on their current allegiance. The government becoming increasingly more paranoid. They begin secretly setting up situations that deliberately test the Girls' judgement. That is, until a war erupts, the PG are on the front lines of the conflict. Soon it is discovered that the GN created created the war to expand their territory of power but also for another reason that is revealed when allies are turned against them.
