More toxic less flow
Heyo call me Neon, I mostly make group checks so forgive me if this doesn't follow the norm of a 1x1 check. As I've only got one rp going at time of posting this I figured I could look elsewhere to hold my attention. I admit i had this idea more suited as a group rp but as I've have had no luck in getting it to start. The 1x1 version of the story would be the same but on a much faster pace and open to a partners input/ideas that with permission i may adapt into the group version of said rp should it ever start...
I generally write in 3rd person and always try to spell correctly and I tend to write between three or six paragraphs depending on the scene and how many things i need to act or voice as. I'm hoping to find someone interested enough in the check below to enquire further.
my only real concerns for potential writing partners is as follows.
1) I'd rather them be over the age of eighteen, not that I want to write smut, torture, drugs etc but the story is supposed to be more adult then kid friendly and id prefer not discussing or role-playing situations with someone much younger than me.
2) basically the only requirement I have on any group check is writing a minimum of two paragraphs once or twice a week. So I'll put that here to.
Apart from that my original check is below. If it interests you feel free to PM to learn more or if you'd just like to play.

Talentailia is the finest magic academy in all the lands. The pride and hope within the kingdom of Mahoe. In this medieval fantasy world of wonder, danger and adventure, magic is a gift given by the gods to all creatures. From insects to dragons, everyone and everything is capable of magic in some form or another. Which is why anyone who wants to learn or hone their magic attends a magic academy, the best one around being Talentailia.
But Let's go over magic, first and most common is learned magic.
Mostly done by speaking the correct words known as a Chant or Spell, alongside a specific movement using either a wand, staff, weapon, hand or finger. It is much easier to use a wand over a sword, however finger casting is considered the highest difficulty.
Any type of magic can be learned but to be good at something you need a teacher. That is to say anyones mana can be used to perform any sort of magic.
(Provided they have enough mana and skill to do so, spells and chants are Elf words and sentences. As most are dead learning magic is hard to do without a guide of some sort)
The second type is genetic magic, this is a singular type of magic unique to a family. Controlling fire or water or shadows or bleh.
Genetic magic only requires mana, movement, will and imagination. Adding a spell can increase its power or alter it. (For better or worse)
the third type is the rarest sort, usually genetic or acquired by accident or ritual. Either way those with these unique eyes are capable of something known by ancients and elves as Aima Moshu Or in human tongue Cursed Eye magic. Said Eye magic is used by simply looking and thinking, it is incredible for many reasons but it most often results in blindness and death.
That is why Talentailia has a mandatory club for any with eye magic. They will learn how to control and use their gift safely in the hopes of not being blind before graduating as a mage. Those who succeed in getting a rank within said club can attempt to join the Order of Vision, success means receiving a gift that helps lessen the negative effects of eye magic. This gift comes at a cost however...
This rp would be about our characters attending meetings at the Order of Vision. So your character would be someone with Aima Moshu. Our characters would be required by law to attend meetings and in doing so they learn that In exchange for knowledge and assistance with their curse they are required to join a guild that has lasted for generations.
In times of need those with trained Aima Moshu are summoned to fight injustice.
Regardless of your homeland, once someone joins the Order of Vision they must heed the call and use their power to correct what is wrong. A member of Vision helps keep balance in the world...
To put simple the story is our characters learning to use their powers and eventually getting roped into danger.

The illusion eye, range in colours and shape.
One with this eye can trap a target in illusions of various sorts. At close range all that is needed is eye contact and a skilled user can attack multiple targets, at a distance one can glare to mess with a single target.
The Pyro eye, red pin wheel eyes
One with this eye can turn anything to ashes, anything within view is within range. Simple and deadly especially for the user of this destructive power.
The Mirror eye, literally a mirror sheen.
One with this eye can copy anything seen for a finite time. Be it magic from a monster, genetic magic, physical techniques/skills, basically anything excluding other Aima Moshu.
The Penetrative eye, grey. You know the ones...
One with this eye can see long distances, see mana, see through objects including walls and people.
The Venomous eye, snake eyes.
One with this eye can paralyse or poison one from a distance. They can also summon toxic tendrils with their gaze.
The Spirit eye, baby blue glow,
One with this eye can see the aura of all living beings, this eye can see intentions, emotions, lifeforce, mana and spirits of all kind. A skilled user can free or seal these spirits. Regardless if they are human, monster or nature.
The King eye, usually appears as a flash in the eyes
With eye contact or a gaze one can pacify/charm/intimidate/provoke a target.
Results vary depending on target and the user.
There is many more and you could probably make one up, know i might suggest a edit or say no if it seems BS.
Aima Moshu appear in the eyes when active or permanently once acquired. Each eye magic is like a snowflake, while they can be similar they are unique. For example two different people could have a set of venomous eyes, while the abilities are similar or the same the eyes would look reptilian maybe different in colour or shape etc.
It is possible to be born with one or two magic eyes, but being born with two different magic is next to impossible. Replacing a eye with a different eye normal or magic is also a possibility though difficult to do safely.
