Greetings,
My name is Serenity and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance! It is my hope that this recruitment thread inspires some interest, and I would ask to send me a private message with your ideas. I will leave many of the themes more wide open so we could build the story together. Alas, I bet you would like you know more about your prospective partner huh...?
I am a female author who has been writing for more than a decade. I started writing Pokemon Inspired stories, and have since written near every story and genre under the sun. I enjoy lighter and more cuddly stories, to the darker and more sinister inspired. I have written more than 2 Million Words in my collective works (more than JR Tolkien) and I have found a passion for character development in my stories. I love thrusting my characters into the unknown and exploring their search for identity amidst the new circumstances. For this reason, I have found that I adore themes of Gender Swap and Age-Regression since I feel themes of Age and Gender determine so much of who a person is alongside their Culture, Socio Economic Background, and a host of other Nature vs. Nurture kinds of debates. My objective is ensure that both partners are comfortable and content with the direction of story. For this reason Collaboration is a must for myself.
In my longer writing career I can also proudly say that I have never ghosted another writer. I will always attempt to first change up the direction of story, to accommodate passions, and other details. So if you have found partners constantly bailing on you before stories become good, I may be your dream partner. My average story runs about 500-Pages, and my longest one had been running for 11-Years. I have played D&D and I know a decent amount about world building. So if you are looking for a friendly, and open-minded partner who is invested in you as a partner more than the story details I am someone to connect with. Now, I bet that all sounds nice...? Well - I can also say that I am somewhat picky with my partners and that is the reason most of my stories last long-term and I do not bail. Below are a couple of the things I am looking for from you, and I am more than happy to hear what you would be looking for from me as a prospective partner.
What I would like from you:
- Post Length Advanced to Novella (4 - 6 Paragraphs Minimum; 750 - 1,000 Words)
- Commitment to Post Minimum Weekly, and I am often Happy with Daily Posting
- Open-Minded to Identity Themes above, and Open to Collaboration for Storyline
- Honest Communication. If something is wrong say, we can backup or adjust plot
- Preference (Not Required) for those who are willing to use BBC Code in Posts!
Before I begin I should note this is NOT my only storyline inquiry. If you are interested in another theme then send me a message with your ideas. I am rather open to settings as long as I can play the kinds of characters I enjoy to play. So read on and message your ideas! I love a simple brain storm and that is often best way to decide if we would be compatible for long-term!
Now for the Storyline Proposal:
I am on the search for a partner once more for a more mystery inspired storyline. If I had to choose an inspiration for this storyline, than this would the anime Case Closed (Detective Conan). It centers around a High School Detective who is famous around the world for being able to solve any mystery or criminal investigation. One Truth Always Prevails is the Anime Motto. The main character is transformed into a child during the first episode, and has to solve crimes and murders from a child perspective. This presents the main character a host of challenges from the physical to the social ones since no one would ever listen to some kid about an investigation. The character has to instead find more creative ways to get their voice heard and ultimately ensure the Bad Guy is brought to Justice. This is the theme I wanted for our Story. To explore mystery from a child's perspective.
My character would be a Famous High School Detective from America who is visiting Japan (or somewhere else). They find themselves in trouble, and are shrunk back down to a child. This time with a twist that the former boy is also turned into a girl at the same time. Now, an elementary schooler she is taken in by someone she knows (or a stranger) and her true identity could be known or unknown to this person. From this point, the two would find themselves suddenly in a whirlwind of cases that happen all themselves. From a Murder in a Department Store, to a Jewelry Heist. I am happy to create these scenarios myself or collab on what we think would be most interesting. Our characters would then uncover clues left by other player (or by story) and the objective of every Plot "Arc" would be solve the case before time runs out so to speak. I have some prebuilt themes or open to all new ones as well!
For those familiar with the Anime - It is one of the longest running in the History of Anime. I am also interested in this story being more long-term, and I have done a kind of similar story in the past which worked rather well and I feel I am now a far better writer equipped to handle the challenges this kind of story would create. This would be a unique story in the sense is is Mystery focused, and as such expect lots of cute and interesting puzzles along the way - To see if our characters can look past the mundane and think more creativity to get into the heads of our perpetrators. But alas, we can discuss all that if interested, my first challenge is to find a partner who is open to the challenge, and would be interested in playing a female high-school aged caregiver for my younger grade-schooler who has the mind and maturity of an adult. I am open to relationship but would prefer a female character and caregiver in his instance as it involves a young child.

- Case of the Department Store Murder
- Case of the Restaurant Death
- Case of the Jewelry Heist
- Case of the School Kidnapping
- Case of the Unknown
In the process of purchasing clothes for our new Junior Detective, our characters happen across a Department Store where a person is found to collapse causing quite an uproar. At first the police believe this to be a natural death but one or both of our characters believe something is at fowl. The clues are all around the store, and one by one they begin to paint a picture about what truly happened and why. This mystery is about attention to detail and searching for clues in the wide open that others may have missed. Can our characters discover the truth in time?
This story could take at any point in our story. It centers around someone collapsing clutching their chest or throat in a crowded venue. The clues this time around are more social, and the smallest details and interactions could make all of the difference in unraveling this mystery. A worker is suspected of murder and it is up to our characters to prove they have been falsely accused by the incompetent investigator. Witnesses and the Interviews would help unreal0 the true cause of the death and hopefully before someone innocent is sent to prison!
Open to how this story is setup. However, a Jewelry store has been robbed and it is up to our characters to find the perpetrators! Follow the Clues from the News, the Scene of the Crime, and Observations of those around our characters to find the suspects. Can our characters unravel the true motivations behind the crime, and unravel those sinister motivations or would the criminals win in the end. This case is expected to have many twists and unexpected turns, and could even shed some light on a mysterious organization of our storyline.
Our case would begin once my character has been enrolled into school and has met some of the other children. It could be that one of the kids is acting rather range, and there is soon discovered to be something far more sinister at work. This would likely be more of a spin-off case that happens at school, or after school involving children. So the danger would be far higher with no adults around. Take on the persona of one of the Children Cast and assist our Junior Detective in solving this case before something really bad could happen...?
In this theme you choose answers to the four and I and/or we could create some entertaining clues to be solved! Could this be a sinister act that was premeditated, or some kind of unfortunate accident? Not everything is as it seems and with a Keen Eye for Detail - One Truth Always Prevails! Join our characters in the pursuit of the unknown, as they are swept up in a series of unfortunate events that place that at one Crime Scene after another whether as Witnesses, Bystanders, or Suspects in their own investigations as the story progresses!
Victim: Unknown
