Multiple Settings a medley of roleplays (or alternatively; the quest for a partner)

  I'm Amox, and I normally just go by that since it's nice and short. I'm currently in online school hell thanks to quarantine, but that also means I suddenly have an abundance of free time. Trying to stay sane by giving myself things to do, so I've been on the hunt for some good roleplay.
  
  I'm sort of lenient when it comes to paragraph length. You can expect anywhere from two paragraphs minimum per reply, to around six if I'm really into a particular scene. Of course it all depends on what the situation calls for, and more often than not I will match my partner. I'm a firm believer of quality over quantity, so as long as there's something to work with (no one liners, please) I'm happy.
  
  I really enjoy fantasy, dystopian, and futuristic settings. Modern/realistic roleplays don't appeal to me as much, but if there's a really good plot I can probably be convinced. What's most important to me is character development and introspection! I love internal conflict and having to overcome one's flaws, since that's what I believe a good story should always do. Our characters should go through constant change, whether that's affected by the environment or each other!
  
  Speaking of which, I have no real preference in playing male or female characters. I'd like to challenge myself and write more from a guy's perspective, however, so just as a heads up I will probably be using male OC's.

  (Gosh, "requirements" is such a harsh word. These are really only guidelines: things that I'd prefer in a partner and would make the experience better.)
  
  What I'm looking for:
  
  - Transparency! You don't have to explain yourself, but if you need a break or find you've lost interest in the roleplay, please let me know.
  
  - Use decent grammar please. I don't mind slang or casual jest between characters (dare I say I encourage it), but try to keep it away from non-dialogue lines.
  
  - Participation in story building! Be prepared to input your own ideas and opinions, 'cause roleplay's a two-way street. I have a few plots in mind that I have listed in the next tab, but even if we decide to go with one of those, I'd still like to hear your thoughts. I'm always open to discussing changes or throwing new stuff into the mix.
  
  - And lastly, communication. Not just exchanging plot ideas and reply updates, but just some friendly OOC chatter! I hope we can get to know each other as the roleplay progresses. I will most definitely be sending you memes and songs relating to our characters, so look forwards to that. :^)

  Below are some story prompts/ideas I've come up with. Take a look at them, and shoot me a PM if any interest you!
  *Note: The pairings listed are marked with an asterisk, as they are optional. If you want to have a romantic plot/sub-plot between the characters just mention it in your PM and we can discuss it further. I'm fine with doing any pairing or gender, it's just that I don't like romance for the sake of having romance if it's not an important part of the story.

  "broken wings" | fantasy/sci-fi | *Character A x Character B
  (A) comes from the high-tech, floating city in the sky. Each one of the city's many islands are able to levitate due to the power drawn from the planet below, though the exact details are kept a council secret. One day, (A) gets falsely accused of treachery and is subsequently banished. They are thrown (literally) out of the sky and fall hazardously towards the ground, only to be saved by (B), a native of the planet. Together, they search for the true culprit of the crime to clear (A)'s name, and on their journey discover dark truths about the floating city's grandeur.
  
  "thicker than water" | fantasy/medieval/world-building | *magical creature x royalty
  Making bonds with magical creatures is a rare, but accepted practice among certain villages in the kingdom. It is said to reverse the effects of curses and provide formidable protection against harm, physical or magical. To the aristocrats and nobles of the capital, it was nothing but witchcraft of course, but in the midst of a war with the neighbouring crown, the king makes an unexpected decision. He decides that he must protect his only successor by permanently bonding a magical creature to their soul while they're still a baby. The magical creature performs its duty and saves the baby from multiple attempts at its life, and years after the war ended, the successor inherits their father's throne---albeit with a most unconventional adviser at their side.
  
  "this thing of ours"| modern/action/drama | *mafia x civilian
  The Sykes crime family is known for their long history of human trafficking, kidnapping, and assassinations. All made men are trained to be able to track down a target, and if necessary, to dispose of them quickly and quietly. They have a remarkable track record, but there is no such thing as perfection. It is easy to make a mistake during a hit, but even worse to get the target utterly wrong! Instead of the bloodthirsty head honcho of a rivaling family, the person kidnapped is a completely innocent bystander who now knows too much for their own good. There is no choice but to dispose of the witness... but maybe, there is a use for them.
  
  "the walls that surround us" | dystopian/action/thriller | *Character A x Character B
  (A) grew up in a loving home with all they could ever ask for. A warm bed, delicious meals, every toy imaginable; their education was top-notch and every whim of theirs was tended to. The walled city they lived in seemed perfect, and everyone was happy. (B) was not so lucky as to be born within the walls. Outside the city was hell on Earth, where residents (if they were even considered residents) would fight for the scraps left behind by the elite and die of diseases that could have been easily prevented with the technology within the walls. One fateful encounter between these two characters would change their lives forever, but what will they do with the knowledge they now have? Will (A) throw away the false, happy life they knew before to fix this injustice? Can (B) risk everything they had worked to protect in order to change their fate?

  Thieves' Guild
  Fantasy/D&D-esque setting where one of the characters is the leader a band of thieves and the other can either be a new recruit, an unwilling hostage, or a persecutor.

  not really the kind of story i normally go for, but it suddenly came into my head and i think i'd be into it. actually i think this is a cliche, but never mind that!
  Two characters have an email correspondence where they talk about their issues and support each other online. This friendship has lasted for many years now, but what (B) doesn't know is that (A) has developed a huge crush on them. Around the same time, they both unknowingly meet in real life, where (B) becomes completely smitten over (A). Lots of comedy, fluff, and maybe a bit of angst.
  
  Amnesia
  Character A suffers an abrupt but severe loss of memory in one night. Character B is the last one they have spoken to, and they both work together to try and get Character A's memories back. However, Character B may have a reason for keeping Character A from remembering...

  "the average agency" | My Hero Academia | Original Characters
  Two fresh-faced pro heroes decide to start their own hero agency. Shenanigans ensue.
  +open to any ideas involving pro hero, vigilante, or villain OCs. I'll need some convincing to do a UA setting, since I'm not so jazzed about school roleplays. Any mix of these is cool though.

  I'm open to other plots/ideas. If you have one, let me know and I'll hear it out.
