Hello, this is me, saying Hello to this site, which was recomended to me by a freind of mine by the name of Von Ridel ,as a good place for RPing. I do hope to have a positive (Sanity Damage notwithstanding) Contribution to this site, and to enjoy my time here.

I would not mind- I am not sure what Forums/RP's/Games are present on this site- and immediately after linking me this site, Von had to go offline. I am something of a fan of Anime, the Cthulhu Mythos.... I tend towards a more sinister bent, IC- though I assure you, I attempt to maintain this level of manners and congeniality OOC. Pleasure to be on this site, and pleasure to be immediately welcomed by an Admin.
 
While your Eldritch is lacking, I like your enthusiasm.


Welcome to the site and here's hoping you find a game you can enjoy- I'm sure VonRidel can make suggestions, but if there's anything you really like (from the sound of it, Call of Cthulhu) I might be able to point you somewhere.
 
Heh- I am indeed quite the fan of Call of Cthulu- but Really, in General, I am an Tabletop Gamer who is experrimenteing with a new Medium. My experience includes Gurps, Vampire the Masquerade, Mage the Ascenscion, uhm.... Dungeons and Dragons, 3rd Edition Mostly. I have indeed played Tabletop Call of Cthulhu- and Cthulhutech, which I have quite an enjoyment of.. And that's about it. I am quite excited about trying a new medium! If you have any suggestions, I'm happy to listen.

Wooh, Masquerade!


Have you looked at V20? I am so glad they cleaned up some of the old problems...

Ah, I see.


It's called V20, because it was the Vampire; The Masquerade 20th anniversary edition. A massive, leather-bound tome that re-worked some of the problematic rules, and made things more streamlined. Because if I'm honest, as much as I love Old World of Darkness....the rules were a horrible mess in some places.
 
I cannot disagree- but it was quite fun, and, well.. I very much enjoy the books I have- a Bit Complicated, but worthwhile- and I do so enjoy point based systems.
