Joyeful
[Tinnitus]
The sound of raindrops hitting the cobblestones was clear throughout the shadowed evening, footsteps hurried, the day unusually quiet, thanks to the lovely storm that had rolled in. A perfect day otherwise, those out and about were out only due to necessity, rather than personal wish- if anyone was, they were inside restaurants that lined highly-frequented streets.
In a park near one such street, a single figure leaned against a tree, waiting for her meeting- the only indication that she was anything more than a pedestrian or just someone waiting for a friend being that she wasn't walking, or glancing around for shelter.
Many passed, not bothering to look her way as the rain became a positive downpour, but still they waited, face in a cool, measured expression.
Finally she sighed, taking a glance at the small clock pendant around her neck before putting it back.
Seemingly completely unaware someone might be watching.
