A Little Bit of Everything

Could some one maybe come along and sweep her up into romance? Or will she forever be alone?

Im on the bus now. I can see the school a few miles away now. I put my headphones and phone away into my pocket while I get my stuff ready to get off. Everyone is slowly filtering into the school as I hop off. Its certainly different from the British way of life I am used to, big busses, more people in the school grade. Well, at least it's interesting! The bell rings, thats the start of school time I am guessing. I put my headphones back on and go back to listening some nightcore. I look forward, smiling as I walk in.


"A new beginning"


I whisper to myself. I look around for potential friends, only to be greeted by the faces of older seniors, obviously some of the others will be further up in the freshmen senior class blocks. I make my way there slowly, but first I need to go to my locker in the Senior Freshmen Hallway.

 

[HIllzie]

What a cool school! My honey eyes widened at the outside of the school. Not only was it larger that she was used to but it was so pretty! I lived right down the block so transportation wasn't really necessary. Inside I found my locker and put everything in it then only grabbed the few things that I needed with me at the moment then I walked to my new first classroom, the Senior Freshman class. I sat a desk and pulled out my small sack of donuts and began my breakfast before the call started. I thought that my stomach was going to turn inside out on the way here!


Hopefully this wasn't against the rule, I thought as I munched on my first donut and looked around. There were other people in class all ready talking animatedly as they got to know each other. Some of them even knew each other. I didn't know anyone however, I had just move here with her parents because my dad got a new job.

(Sorry, sorry, I have had a busy weekend! I had my mum's wedding haha! My bad, shouldn't happen again!)


I finish getting the books from my locker. I edgily walk into the classroom now. There is lots of noise, people moving tables to make small circles, people making paper airplanes, and people talking about how their winter holidays were. There was only one seat left, because, me being my usual, late to school self had made this happen. "Great" I murmured under my breath. But then things take a twist, to the left of the chair, there is a hot girl. 'Thats more like it' I think to myself. I sit down in the empty chair, she looks bewildered herself, I guess she's new like me!


"Hi!" I say to the girl. I was surprised she heard over all the loud noises. "My name's Sora!"

 

[HIllzie]

(No problem just making sure Ooo a wedding! Congrats....congrats right?)


She heard the chair beside her move. What someone wanted to sit next to her? She looked over at the greeting. Woah. She thought her heart may have stopped working for a moment or so. She blinked her golden eyes up at him. "Oh! Hi, I'm Naomi." He was so attractive, and he was sitting next to her. Great, now she would never be able to focus in class now.

(Yeh, it was a lot of fun! haha! btw, look at OOC chat real quick if you could!)


Naomi. A beautiful name. "Hi Naomi" I smile. "I'm guessing your new here?" She has a beautiful face, and her eyes could get you swept away. She also had a nice figure, I wonder if she has a boyfriend? Maybe I should ask that later.


(btw, I hope you don't mind, i write in first person, sorry about that, its just the way I do things! I can do 3rd person if you prefer though! )

(Great! sure I can do first person if you like that better. I know it feel weird going out of your comfort zone like that lol.)


She nodded, her blond hair bouncing as she did. "Yeah, just transferred. My dad got a new job." She shrugged. "What about you, are you new here too I mean?" Her eyes swept over him. He look so....bad boy. She blushed at the thought.

 

[Sora San]

(I don't mind to be honest, first person, third person, like you said, comfort zones, just go with whatever suits you best! I am just used to writing pieces in first person and the odd story, so thats how I feel most comfortable haha)


"Yeh, I'm new, I transferred to this school for boarding as I want to maybe get a job out here after passing all my exams and stuff, also, the UK got kind of boring, this is a lot more fun, and of course, a different experience!" I smile at her. Damn shes hot. I must ask her at some point about that boyfriend line before I get my hopes up though.

 

[HIllzie]

(........-.-......I didn't even realize that I wrote in third person. HAHA! sorry)


"The UK?" that sounded interesting. (does he have the accent?) I smile at him when he smiled at me. "Yeah I think I'm going to like it here." I look to the front when the teacher walks in and interrupts everyone to start class. She starts to take roll call. I wait and listen for my name to be called. "Naomi Hoshina." She called. "Here." I respond raising my hair. New eyes from all over the class look my way and suddenly I'm embarrassed and duck down slightly. "They must know that we're new." I whisper at Sora after roll has been finished and the announcements start.

(Yeh, my character does have a strong british accent, not posh, but not chavvy either, so basically my character is myself irl haha)


"I guess they figured" I laugh smiling. Announcements come on, it's the usual 'Welcome back, I hope you had a good holidays' and 'Welcome new students' talk you get. I slowly get my stuff ready, and I start to become more awake now. "So, are you boarding here Naomi?" I ask. Im glad I have made (hopefully) a new friend on the first day of school!

 

[HIllzie]

"No i just live right down the block." His accent was so strange but so alluring at the same time. I tucked some hair behind my ear and listened to the welcoming introductions. This was prerty much the blow off week of school. Im looking forward to the school year, hopefully it goes well for me. I look at Sora. And plus now i have a friend to talk to. I feel heat in my cheeks when i blush.

 

[Sora San]

(Remember we said we were gonna both be boarding? nvm, we can always incorporate that later, like maybe we live together or something, this is probs more fun anyways!)


"I see" I say knowingly "I live here, I kind of have to". I then see her start to blush which makes me blush too. She's stunning. One of the hottest girls I know, also one of the sweetest. I feel something hit the back off my head. I turn around to see some jocks laughing and saying "Britty boy, want some tea and crumpets?" Normally, i would make an insult, or show off my hidden fighting skills, but its my first day and I don't want to make a fool off myself in front of Naomi.

 

[HIllzie]

(Oh snap. Im so forgetful lol yeah later on we'll have to do that.)


I saw the paper hit Soras head then looked at the ones who threw it. I looked back at Sora and saw that he wasnt doing anything about it. So he was a new kid and had a strange accent thats nothing to be ashamed of. The wad of paper rolled to me and stopped at my foot. I bent down and picked it up and squeezed it in my hand.

 

[Sora San]

(No worries! Like I said, we can just add it later, it will still be just as fun!)


I looked up at Naomi scrunching up the paper and smiled. "Yeh, ignore them, they are just idiots mucking around with the new guy" I winked and stand up slowly, gathering my bag. "So, what lesson do you have first?" I glance at my timetable, hoping that we have the same lesson together so i can get to know my new friend better.

 

[HIllzie]

I tuck the wad into my bag and throw it over my shoulder. I pull out my schedule and look it over. "Ive got english first, then history and science then lunch." I looked at him as he read his schedule. "You?" I wonder if we have any classes together...

 

[Sora San]

I look at my schedule carefully. Success! "I have English first as well, then history and science! But I think I am in a different science set for you.." Oh well. At least I am in some sets with her! I hope I am in over sets with her too, shes interesting to be around. That and you could get lost in her eyes I probably won't get any work done now.

 

[HIllzie]

I giggled at his enthusiasm. I was glad too that we had more classes together. "Thasts great! Lets go." I walk out of the room and head to mine and Sora's English class. There were so many students in this school, the hall ways were cluttered. Naomi was so small it was easy for her to slip through everyone. She was surprisingly good at it.


The second half was an informative and sounded better in third person. Lol

((Like I said, do whatever feels most comfortable for you, first and third person I don't mind haha, just so long as it all makes sense ^-^))


I barge through groups of people to get to the class, Naomi got there way before due to her slim figure. I manage to make it to the classroom door and I peer in, were early which is good, more talking time! The English teacher is already there, it's a she. She has glasses, looks a bit like a bookworm, but she has a nice look about her. "Ready to go in?" I ask Naomi

 

[HIllzie]

I was standing there peeking in the door way when Sora showed up behind me and startled me. I gasped and jump slightly when he talks in my ear. My hand flew up to my chest and I nearly fall over on my butt. I giggle at myself and blush. "You startled me!" She accused and giggled some more. The teacher looked over at the commotion. I sigh away my giggle fit then nod. "Yeah." I turn and walk into the class room. The teacher looks like she would be a nice woman. She picked a seat near the back left side of the room, same as in the last class.

 

[Sora San]

I laugh and walk into the classroom. I sit down next to Naomi and start pulling out my books. The classroom is your typical English classroom. Words with their definitions pinned up the the wall, quotes and a lot of books on shelves. The new teacher hands me and Naomi an English book which we can write in as everyone else starts to file in. More new faces. I look over at Naomi and smile. "So, whats your favourite subject?"

 

[HIllzie]

I look at the teacher when she hands me a book and I look at it then quickly scan the pages. "Hmm, I really like English, but I like Science too." I smile at Sora. School wasn't something I dreaded, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. "What about you, Sora? What's your favorites?" I put my chin in my palm.

 

[Sora San]

"Well, im more of an art and design person myself, I tend to find anything which requires long amounts of writing and staring into a textbook for hours on end a bit boring" I lean my head against my shoulder slightly and start making doodles on the end of my new book. Its a habit I have always have, my old school books were covered in doodles, so I got told off by a lot of teachers at my old school. I stare blankly into my book and start to go into a dreamlike state, until the teacher starts to talk. "Right" she says "Hello class, my name is Miss Reilly, I'm your new English teacher".

 

[HIllzie]

I notice his attention go into his doodles. I focus my attention on writing my name in my book so that if it's lost I can get it back. I slowly write each line as if one mistake would ruin everything. The teacher started class and by then i was done with my name. I look up at her and listen as she speaks. But still out of the corner of my eyes I see him sitting there all attractive like. See...he is already distracting me. I blush and try to pull my attention off of him completely.

 

[Sora San]

I stop doodling for a second to see what the teacher has to say, but it bores me. I go back to doodling. I am making a big graffiti-like 'S' for Sora on the front of my book. It's all coloured in now too. I can slowly feel my eyes drifting away from me now as I finish with the 'S'. I feel my head go heavy and the next thing I know my head is on the desk and i have fallen asleep.
