Fantasy A Little 1x1 Search Thread (I'm Friendly and Don't Bite!)

Hello! And welcome to my little search thread. It's been quite awhile, and honestly, I wasn't sure if I'd be coming back this time. But like always, I've pulled myself back, hoping for a fresh start, with some fresh partners. I'm going to give a lot of information moving forward, but I'm working with BBCode, to hopefully make it compact and nice looking.

• So this is some info about me.
  I am 22 years old, from the not-so-great, United States.
  I am a cis-gender male, and I'm also pansexual. That being said, I have a preference for women.
  I'm also a single pringle Nah, I'm not really looking for love here, although if I found it, I wouldn't say no.
  Nevertheless, I am a roleplayer, and interested in roleplaying first.
  I have a passion for writing, hoping that I may one day publish books.
  In the meantime, I'm studying for my bachelor's degree, in order to be a teacher.
  Beyond that, I also work part time at a factory job.
  That's a glimpse into my life, though I'm a pretty open book, and always willing to chat about more.
• When it comes to writing and roleplaying, I have a few preferences.
  

  • I typically prefer MxF pairings. I'd be willing to branch out, but those are usually the ones I work best with.
  • I also typically prefer there to be romance in my roleplays. I can go without, and do platonic, but I'm a sucker for a love story.
  • That being said, if I do romance, I prefer to have a somewhat slow burn. Depends on the plot, but I don't typically go for fast paced.
  • I prefer to write between 2-3 decent sized paragraphs. I'll try and match, but I tend to get overwhelmed. All I ask for is no one-liners.
  • Lastly, on the note of activity, I'd like somebody who could write a couple of times a day. Understandably, that's a lot, so I'd even settle for once a day. If you need to be inactive for a bit, please let me know, and I'll try and do the same for you.
  
  
• What are Minis anyways? Well... They're a species I've designed and tinkered with over the years, and they'll be prominent in most of the plots I'm posting. I want to give a detailed, and maybe definitive explanation here.
  First of all, they're really small people. Itty bitty. While I'm not one hundred percent on the exact numbers, I'd say maybe slightly smaller than an ant is a good place to start. Now, immediately, I'm certain this opens up many concerns about how to roleplay and interact with, especially if you're a normal sized human, or human like creature, but I'm hoping to address all of these.
  
  As I mentioned, they are people, they're humanoid, so they take on the same appearances of humans, down to the skin colors even, if they were put under a microscope. On the inside however, their systems differ greatly. Without giving a whole Mini biology lesson, I'll try to cover the basics. They're practically indestructible, because they contain no organs and no bones. If pressure were applied to them, they wouldn't be crushed like a bug. Their bodies may flatten to fit the space they're being forced into, but they'll be completely fine. Furthermore, their bodies remember how to be body shaped, so after the pressure is removed, if you give them a couple of minutes, their bodies will return to their regular shape. Beyond that, while being incredibly soft to the touch, their skin is resistant to the harshest conditions. They can survive absolute zero temperatures, or heats as high as 400 degrees Fahrenheit. And as for volatile liquids, they can survive acid and lava. They can even survive underwater for up to 10 hours. The last remarkable thing about them, is their ability to survive without oxygen or food. In a lot of ways, Minis are solar powered. While they can eat, and they will gain energy, they could live their entire life without eating, just by absorbing energy from the Sun. Their only weakness, much like Vampires and holy objects, and Werewolves and Silver, is gold. Direct contact with gold will not kill them, but if they are pierced with gold, they will die a horribly painful death.
  
  Beyond just being able to survive, Minis also have several "supernatural" abilities. One of the most important abilities they have, is the ability to communicate telepathically. They can do this from Mini to Mini, or Mini to Human, or Mini to (insert supernatural creature here). The only creatures they cannot communicate with are animals and insects. Their telepathic abilities are limited though, as in order to communicate, they must have a direct skin-to-skin connection with the person they're trying to talk to. Beyond just talking though, if a Mini and the person they're communicating with are really close, they can even share lucid dreams together. In these dreams, anything is possible, including Minis being Human-sized. While this only lasts for the duration of the dream, it opens up the door for Mini/Human romantic relationships. And one last note on this, is that these dreams are so realistic, that real world things can be affected. This means, theoretically, a Mini could procreate with a Human and have a baby, although this would be very far down the road in a roleplay.
  
  The last ability they have is short and sweet. If a Mini is afraid, their skin can camouflage them like a chameleon. The Minis themselves have no control over this ability, fear being the only trigger.
  
  I can imagine this is a lot to read and take in, and if you've read this far, and are still interested, I'm soooo grateful! I'm also totally willing to answer any questions that may not have been answered here.
• So, for the plots here, they're going to be skeleton bones. I'm not a big fan of creating elaborate plots off the bat, because I like giving the flexibility to both myself and my partner, to figure out how we're going to take an idea and run with it. So in short, these will be little tidbits that we can build off of. Sort of a foundation in which our plot can stand on.
  
  Shelter from the Storm
  
  My character is a male Mini, who has been living on his own for a long time. It's towards the end of summer in a small town he'd been exploring most of his life, when there is supposed to be a powerful thunderstorm coming. As per usual during these storms, he needs to search out shelter from the storm. After a little bit of looking, he sneaks into somebody's house, hoping he can stay safe for the night, while going undetected. Little did he know that this house belonged to your female character, and if he's not careful, he's going to have a lot of explaining to do.
  
  Blind Date
  
  In a society where Minis and Humans have evolved together, growing to live and work together as equals, there are still some taboos. One such, is the idea that Minis and Humans can date and have romantic relationships with each other. However, after my character, a male Mini, accidentally matches with your character, a female Human, they end up going on a date, where they discover who the other one truly is. Will they be willing to give this abnormal relationship a shot, or will it just be too much to handle?
  
  The Last of our Kind
  
  In this scenario, both my male and your female are Minis, trying to survive in a human dominated world. Humans often live oblivious to their existence, but due to unfortunate circumstances, it seems that all the Minis had died out. That is, except for our two characters. Alone and just trying to get by, they come across each other. From there, it's anybody's guess. They may team up, they may fight each other, or they may even simply choose to ignore one another. Who knows?
  
  Subservient
  
  Set in a more fantastical setting, the kingdom of [insert name here] is one in which creatures live in a hierarchy. At the bottom are Minis. My male Mini is one of the royal servants, working directly for the princess. Your female, who happens to be the princess, is the heiress to throne, provided she can find a husband. Of course, none of her suitors appeal to her, but maybe the one she loves might have been there all along. (This is pretty open, and one of the ones where you can choose what kind of creature your girl is. I also didn't want to choose the kingdom name, as I think it's only fitting that the princess decides the name of the kingdom.)
  
  On the Run
  
  My only non-Mini plot, this one is very simple, and open to interpretation. For some reason, our characters are on the run. From what? Who knows. Why? I'm not sure. In this plot, you can be anything you want, and we could be running from anything. If you want to go this route, I'd be happy to build this up a bunch, but I figured this would be a good open-ended idea.
