Hi, lovelies! I'm here on the search for a His Dark Materials (TV show) roleplay, focused on Lyra and Will (and perhaps another couple, which I'll discuss below).
I'd like you to play Will Parry, while I'd play Lyra Silvertongue. They'd be aged up, somewhere in their twenties, and having been separated for 8 - 10 years.
I have several plots in mind, that I'll happily share if you reach out. However, I'd like for you to have some input on these plots, and possibly even pitch your own.
Of course, that's not necessary at all. I just want a roleplay partner who is capable in brainstorming and actively interested in our roleplay.
If you can offer me all of this, I will happily double for you. Any canon or OC human (be it non-magical, witch, shaman, etc.) for your canon or OC, nearly no restrictions.
I will not play a non-human character (such as Iorek or a daemon), but I have no other stipulations. This may change, and I'm leaving it open for me to say no, depending on who is requested.
I'll give them just as much love and devotion as Lyra. All of that being said, doubling is not necessary. I'm perfectly fine to write out just Lyra and Will.
I'd like a roleplay partner who enjoys character development, plot, symbolism, and other little funny writer things just as much as writing. You're gonna get fun snippets
from me about symbols I've picked up in the show. Oh, and good time to point it out, but I've never read the books. It's on my to do list, but I'll be basing canon
off of the show. You should know this up front, because I quite like what I watched in the show and how the characters are presented.
Boring details ahoy! I prefer to roleplay over PM, Discord, or Google Docs. Just let me know which you are most keen to. I don't have many limits - I know the show can bring up some
darker topics, none of which I'm opposed to writing out. That being said, I'm not here to make you uncomfortable. You should be able to tell me about what you want in a roleplay,
just as easily as you can tell me what you want to avoid in a roleplay, without fear of me being mean. NOW, that being said about that being said, sometimes roleplays don't work out.
Sometimes we want different things. In that regard, please understand if we don't mesh well. I'll give on some things about a roleplay, but considering my time is not as open as it used to be,
I'm not going to cave on a lot of aspects.
