Biological warfare was called upon long ago and those who were sick ended up surviving without knowing how. The virus ended up altering the genes of those they gave birth to. So time passes and now some are starting to grow powers. Modern day approaches and about ten percent of the world's population have gained advanced abilities like, strength, night vision, speed, great accuracy, but also supernatural abilities, like fire, sound, magnetism, and the like. A mysterious man watching all over the world in one city is sending out letters to those he feels would be worthy to live in a mansion he finances to save the city and hopefully the world. There's really no limit to this, so beings from other dimensions can be able to come through, magic like were you sent here from the past for some reason, maybe a rogue alien, or an alien/scientific experiment that was escaped, maybe someone mutated by accidental radiation, there's really no limit to who your character can be. Like, you can still be a regular human, either with an advanced ability, like accuracy, or not advanced, just, you know, not a god, haha. The story starts off with three heroes already living in the mansion.
It's not so much JUST an action thing, it's also realistic with friendships, relationships, emotion/personal issues, drama, realizations, and stuff. And YES, there will be death, you can be heroic and die for someone else, then, if you want, you can either create another character, or let us know if there will be a way to bring you back. Maybe you had an amulet that requires certain instruction.
I will need the first three group members. ((I wont' be the leader because I'll be controlling the world already, but I will have my own character. Also, if your power ends up effecting the world, like maybe you were injured, put in a comma and your ice powers are causing a harsh blizzard for so long, let me know!)) After we figure out who wants to be the first three members of the house, then anyone else can join in. You can start off anywhere you'd like and either wait for your letter from the Watcher, or you get recruited by the first three members. You can start off alone and work your way through, or you can contact other members and maybe your characters were friends or something.
PLEASE, do not God Mod((controlling someone else's actions/dialogue without their permission)), I cannot stress that enough, haha.
Please refrain from small replies. At least a paragraph, come on, haha.
