what if i told you, there was magic in the air you breathe

PLOTS
NO. 1 - spirited away
haruhi left tokyo not too long ago and moved with her family to the lush,
fertile countryside. her father had said that he found a wonderful business
opportunity and her mother had kept going on and on about the garden
she couldn't wait to create when they got there. suzume wondered if they were
just having one of those 'midlife crises' she always heard about. unfortunately
for haruhi, she was less than enthused. it was her final year of highschool and she
was leaving all her friends to go live on some farm where there was nothing to do. for
a few weeks haruhi spent her days in a cloudy haze, drudging back and forth
to school(though, she did manage to make a friend or two), eating whenever
she needed to, distracting herself with books. utterly boring. that is, until her
parents informed her of a 'secret shrine' that was a walkable distance from their
house. maybe exploring would help lift their daughters' spirits? she does so,
alone, and finds abandoned shrine. vines crawling around the face of the building,
it was nearly in shambles. ever curious, the girl pressed onward, entering
the shrine, and found herself in the spirit realm. she explores, none the wiser,
and eventually becomes trapped in the spirit realm and a new guest/worker at
the grandiose bathhouse. if it were not for a boy her age coming to save her, she
surely would have vanished into a soft dark mist, never to be seen again. various
events ensue as haruhi tries to escape and return home, all whilst working at
the bathhouse and becoming closer to this mysterious boy, who seems to have a
deeper connection with.
(okay! obviously super similar to spirited away, but i just think it would be fun to
write out the plot to the movie and add our own perspectives, events, characters,
and character developments! perhaps this could even be a little darker and sinister
than the original spirited away, especially since i'm aiming for our characters to
be 17/18 in age?)
NO. 2 - wolf's children
i was wanting to write our own rendition of this plot, but with more of a focus
on the children. more particularly, i think it would be fun to explore
the eldest's relationship with her schoolmates! not only trying to find
herself as a young woman, but also dealing with the fact that she's
a 'wolf child'. i definitely take inspiration from yuki and sohei, but
would definitely like to explore that relationship with 'new' characters
and different circumstances! additionally, i would definitely like it
if our characters were on the older side, similar to the spirited away
plot, so we could explore their romantic relationship
without it feeling weird.
NO. 3 - kiki's delivery service
our two characters are a couple of witches that live in a seaside town, and they live a
peaceful and humble life. not only do they run an apothecary for the townspeople
should they need medicine for their ailments, but they also run a bed and
breakfast! their little bed and breakfast is cozy, inviting, and these two little witches
are the epitome of best friends. they care for their various houseplants together,
work tirelessly on their potions and remedies, and have a grand time preparing food
for their guests. all in all, they lived a picturesque life. that is, until a weary,
elderly traveler stays one night. he's quiet, reserved, and your character can't place
her finger on it, but something about him just seems off. however, as quickly as
he came he was gone. the very next morning he ate breakfast, paid, and
even left a hefty tip. however, he left something incredibly important
behind - a thick, ancient looking book. my character opens it and sees a wide
variety of spells and potions, elated at the new material. your character, weary, tells
her to set it down. stubborn and eager to try this 'new magic', my character reads an
encantation and all hell breaks loose. a thick, dark fog erupts from the pages
and bursts up through the roof, covering the port city in a thick, evil shroud. they had
unleashed a curse on the town. and along with this dark plume emerged two
men around theirage - mysterious with an odd aura. demons. they were now bound
to the witches, and these witches were now on a mission to put the evil shroud back
where it came from.
(this plot is ideal of doubling! however if you don't want to double just let me know
and we can drop it down to my lil witch and your demon :3)

hello everyone, and welcome to my
search thread! ( Β΄ β½ ` )οΎ it's currently
warm, flowers are blooming, fireflies
have been flickering around, and it's
all gotten me very inspired to do a fantasy/slice of life plot based off of
the aesthetics/stories of certain
anime. some include films created by
studio ghibli, 'wolf children', and 'hotarubi
no mori e'. however, i'm more than happy
to brainstorm completely original ideas,
so long as it follows the
general vibe/aesthetic of slice of life
fantasy anime. romance will be
100% involved and i will say
that i am looking for mxf with myself
taking the female lead. i'm more than
happy to take this to discord, should
that suit the both of us better c: please,
