Hello Everyone. To keep it simple, I am looking for someone who would like to join an mxmxm cozy holiday thruple rp.
Hi. You can call me Sinister or Sloth. I'm 27 and have been rping since ipod touches were a thing. If you don't know what an iPad touch is, then you are probably a little too young for me. Please be 21+ as rping with someone around my age usually goes better. My usual post sits anywhere between 4-20 paragraphs. With this being my first rp where I will be consistently controlling 2 main characters, I might be pushing higher numbers.
Cozy. Romantic. FLUFF.
Hot cocoa, wine around a fire, gift giving, holiday house parties, snowmen and snowballs, cooking, large scale events, dancing, proposing to the third husband, Christmas shopping, putting up a tree, hanging decorations, baking cookies...
Noah and James were college sweethearts. Many parties had ended with them behind locked dormroom doors and a sock on the handle. Whether it was a quiet corner in the library or a beach party, the two of them were never more than a few feet from each other. They were inseparable. Until Noah's career took off. At first it was just a few nights a month that Noah would be working late. A party here. A celebration there. Then, Noah was gone for days at a time half way across the state.
Space started to grow between them. James was left in an empty house while Noah's gram filled with adventures that James was no longer apart of. One night, a huge argument ended up with Noah on one knee, a small box open revealing a stunning platinum band and James in tears. Of course James said yes.
However, even with a ring and a beautiful wedding, time and distance began to chip away at their perfect marriage. James couldn't help but feel left behind as his amazing husband accomplished so much without him. James had never been lonelier in their perfect empty home meant for a family.
James mental state began to deteriorate as did his work in the empty house. He felt no love in the three bedroom two bath suburban prison they called a home. His editor even told him to take some time off to get his life figured out.
James called Noah every day. They facetimed as much as they could with their long distance relationship. James enjoyed seeing his husband's glowing face and wanted nothing more than to pull him close. Noah's pillow would fill his arms for now. Noah talked about his job with great enthusiasm and James would smile, watching the love of his life be so passionate about something. James only wished it could be himself that Noah was so passionate about.
James got extremely drunk one night and FaceTimed Noah way passed both of their bedtimes. James spilled his guts, both figuratively and literally. James loved Noah with his entire soul but he was so lonely. He didn't want to leave Noah but he couldn't live in an empty shell of a house. James drunkenly said something about hiring a second husband... The seed had been planted.
The next day Noah arrived at home and sat James down for a serious conversation about adding a third husband to their home. James was skeptical at first but agreed to try a thruple situation with Noah if it meant saving their marriage.
××Your character would be the new husband coming into play. Maybe they meet because your character moves in down the street? Or they could throw a friend's party at their home and your character is someone's plus one? Maybe Noah encourages James to go out and have some fun. The ring comes off and the cologne gets broken out. James meets a guy, they start to hit it off. James likes this guy. He's hot, smart, and could hold a decent conversation that didn't absolutely drain James. Maybe the drinks loosen a few of the ambitions, they start kissing, hands start to roam where they shouldn't and James blurts out that he is married feeling guilty despite his husband insisting on it. James would explain the situation and your character would be very interested. Or even, James and YC waking up and Noah is making breakfast or walks in with his bags but isn't upset by any means. Maybe they have had this arrangement for a bit but haven't found the right candidate that works for both of them. We could even do a husband for hire type rp too. Noah puts out an ad that could go viral. Or Noah could find someone at an event that might get along with James.

Extra Info:: Noah's career quickly boomed after a very successful party for a second rate celeb who wasn't important. What really made the night was the delicious food, top shelf drinks and enough sin to make a sailor blush. The party made social feeds and people's phone notifications blow up. Thousands of people ended up showing with thousands more wishing they had gone.

He ended up on the best seller list a few times, however, he has yet to hit the number one spot. James hides behind a pen name, worried his fans would deem him 'boring' or 'uninteresting' if they found his true identity.
