White had given up her title of Champion shortly after receiving it, something she had worked so very hard towards. But the brunette was able to cast it aside with ease, because it would halt her from searching for that one green-haired fellow she sought. Now, she had reached the town of Sootopolis, in the Hoenn region, but perhaps not in the state she had wanted. At least she could simply fly there next time.
Hauling herself out of the water and onto the piece of land by the Pokécentre was a brunette, soaked to the bone. "Hydreigon – I'm going to kill you," she grumbled at her Pokémon, who burst from the water again to levitate nearby, repeating its name in an amused manner. Well, at least she had gotten here, even if it involved her Pokémon diving down without much warning and nearly drowning her. There wasn't much more of this region she could search, having moved through almost every town without stopping to battle or challenge gyms. Her mind was too occupied. N, where the hell are you?
Her dragon-type Pokémon had tried his best to aid her in her search, but there wasn't even the hint of a scent trail to find and or follow. All her Pokémon had made some attempt, to either help or comfort her on sensing whatever worry or doubt arose within Touko. However she hadn't given up her search het, and didn't plan to. She was persistent that way, and was confident she would find the former King of Team Plasma eventually, where ever he had gone.
Recalling the harsh memories of his past would always make N sigh and shiver. The green-haired male had ran away from Unova in hopes to sort himself out after finding the truth behind his father's lies. His father didn't want to save the pokemon. He just wanted to rule the world. N bit his bottom lip as she thought out, anger filling him as he did so.
He clenched his fists as he walked through the beautiful city of Sootopolis City in the Hoenn region. N had never been to any region outside of Unova and he heard amazing things about the Hoenn region. Now, he had escaped to Hoenn after Touko had defeated him, and ever since he's been travelling through the region with his friends.
N looked around, "Hoenn is quite pretty..." he smiled, as he faced his Zoroak that was currently out with him. His pokemon nodded.
It is. Though it's so hot out...hotter than Unova when it's summer that's for sure.
Brushing damp, chocolate-hued locks of hair from her face, Touko decided to cut right to the chase, and walked towards the centre of the town of Sootopolis. She needed to be sure that N wasn't here before she would go dry herself and get something to eat at the Pokécenter. Besides, it wasn't as if seeing a trainer in wet clothes would surprise villagers, since diving beneath the sea was the only way they could reach the town firstly.
Gaze scouring the quiet town that lacked the bustle of somewhere larger, White's walking pace was slow. She needed to be thorough. "Hydreigon.. can you smell anything?" she questioned her pokémon with some hope to her tone of voice. Even if it seemed less likely that she'd fine the fellow teen over time, White still had some sliver of hope within her.
To her surprise, Hydreigon seemed to have caught some sort of scent, though the brunette was in denial sort of. Could he really be here? She didn't have much time to think, as the dragon-type had begun to fly close to the ground, in the direction of the familiar scent it had caught a whiff of.
N sighed as he absorbed the surroundings around with him with large curiosity, and a pang of heart would pierce through him when he realizes what his mistakes were as he gazed at trainers and pokemon alike getting along. The male had walked up to the center of Sootopolis, where he had spotted familiar brunette hair, making him do a double-take.
"Wait...no..." He whispered as he backed up. Did she really go after him? She was the champion of Unova! Why in the world was she here, in Hoenn? It didn't make sense to him.
"Master N, what's wrong? You seem a bit shocked," Zoroark's voice snapped N back to reality as the green-haired male looked down upon him.
"Nothing, it's nothing." N said as he swiftly turned the opposite away. "Come on, we reached pretty far. Shall we continue on our journey?" N smiled. If I avoid her, she won't notice me, right? She just came to Hoenn for a vacation, right? Right...?
The brunette had yet to notice the familiar, green-haired boy nearby. Her dragon-type was another story. Inhaling deeply a second time, the darkly-hued Pokémon was sure he could smell something. Something very similar to the scent that male, that he and his trainer had battled numerous times before, carried.
There, thought the duel-type dragon. He had spotted that pastel green ponytail from behind a group of chatting townsfolk, and begun to move in that direction, following. Hydreigon bellowed its name pretty loudly in an attempt to snatch N's attention, something that drew other people's attention to the Pokémon. Meanwhile, Touko had been watching the ground as she walked in the direction of the pokécentre. Her blue hues whipped over towards her Pokémon again when she heard the commotion, and the brunette turned to go retrieve him. "Did you find something?" Please have found something...
[[ Could you send me the link to the other thread we had? I genuinely cannot find it anywhere in my alerts. x'D
When the familiar voice of Touko's Hydreigon rang in his head, N turned swiftly to meet him. Placing a smile on the green-haired male, he walked over to meet Hydreigon, reaching over and petting him, "Well hello Hydreigon, it's nice to see you again."
Zoroak followed his trainer, then gave a bitter growl at the dragon pokemon. It was the one who had easily defeated Zoroak, and the poor Illusion pokemon's pride was hurt. He didn't like the fact that he was thrown around so casually, it pissed him off. So now Zoroak held a bitter end for the dual-type pokemon, narrowing his gaze into a glare as he watched N and Hydreigon interact.
As N was speaking to Hydreigon, his silver-green/blue caught bright blue ones, making him bite his bottom lip as he retracted his hand and walked over to Touko. "Hello Touko," he greeted with his kind, soft gentle voice.
Touko really had no idea what to say to N now that he was here in front of her. Her focus had always been on finding the male, and she hadn't ever decided what she would tell him if she found him. Stopping in her tracks, her cerulean orbs gave the other trainer a once over, before a grin, both relieved and slightly sheepish, etched its way across her lips. "Hey... "
Wait, who was she kidding? This guy had ran off without a word, as a result leaving her to run around Hoenn searching for him. "I could kill you, you know," she then commented, "You just vanished!"
Hydreigon snorted at Zoroark's little display of annoyance. The larger Pokémon had a similar air of arrogance shrouding him, and simply butted the dark-type with the head of one arm-like limb.
N's eyes widen at her comment, "Don't kill me please. I rather not die," he replied, giving a dry laugh. He opened his eyes wide, indicating he wanted a hug. "I didn't just vanished. I told you I was going to sort things out, didn't I?" N smiled, embracing the slightly smaller brunette. He propped his chin on her fluffy hair and grinned.
Zoroak swapped at Hydreigon's head...arm thing and growled, narrowing his eyes. He huffed and crossed his arms as he watched N and Touko.
"You guys are like a couple reunited." Zoroak bitterly mumbled.
"A couple? Is that so?" N smiled, keeping his arms around the brunette.
"I didn't think running away to a totally different region is what you meant by sorting things out," Touko remarked with a slightly arched eyebrow as she approached N again, returning the tight hug. Her own chin had been set on his shoulder as she did. It was weird to be in the presence of the former Plasma King after so long.
Hydreigon seemed to agree with Zoroark, a deep chuckle reverberating from within his chest. Of course, his trainer couldn't understand the exchange so she remained oblivious. "Don't vanish again," the brunette then added, a sliver of authority lacing her tone of voice. She had found him now, finally, and she wasn't about to go through all of that searching a second time.
N smiled gently, "Don't worry I won't. But, aren't you the champion? Why aren't you in Unova? Were you searching for me this whole time?" N asked in a steady tone. He was quite curious on why Touko was clingy, but he didn't mind. He loved the fact that he could hold in her his own arms, and have her flushed against his own skin. Sighing, N broke away hesitantly, "But really, what are you doing here in Hoenn?" he asked.
"Uhh... I kind of gave up the title," Touko admitted as they seperated again, an air of uncertainty slipping into her tone. Even though she had worker hard towards becoming champion, there was a chance that N could've gotten himself into trouble, seeing as all seven of the sages took time to be tracked down after the Team Plasma incident had been sorted.
"Yeah, I did spend a lot of time searching, but I enjoyed myself too," she added in an attempt to sound convincing. Only now did she realise how pathetic she was beginning to sound, or at least in her own opinion. Honestly, she hadn't taken much of Hoenn in at all.
"Did you really?" N grinned. "I have a feeling you actually didn't." He laughed, ruffling her hair. "May I ask why you're dripping wet?" he asked, as he took in the sight of the beautiful former champion. He didn't expect her to greet him while soaking, but the way the water droplets glistened in the sun, it made her look beautiful and stunning.
"Hydreigon and I had to dive to get here," Touko explained. "And then I saw you before I could go dry off." The brunette could feel her cheeks warming slightly under N's stare. Then, in an effort to escape the situation, she turned towards the pokécentre. "C'mon, I need to change clothes. And I'm starving," she added, just in time for her stomach to rumble slightly, a grin creeping onto her lips
N laughed, "You're not starving, you're just hungry." N smiled, patting her head. N called over Zoroak, who seemed delighted about the fact he could eat some food, and tagged along, moving in between N and Touko. The green-haired male gave a small laugh as he did so, smiling at Touko. "Sorry, I guess he doesn't like us to be close," N snickered.
Zoroak scoffed, "It's not that! It's just...she might hurt you, you know!"
