Long may I reign.
Setting: Ancient Persian Empire
Characters: Young Empress & Royal Knight
Basic Idea: In its prime, the Persian empire is at constant war, conquering city after city, nation after nation, and expanding its territory faster than ever before. At the head of it all, sat a wise Emperor, and with his son to be his heir, everything was perfectly under control. The people loved them both, and the expansions brought wealth to the capital's walls as was never known before. This was, however, until the recent incident.
Unknown to the crown, a rebellion had been brewing. An successful assassination has since been conducted, taking out the Emperor and his son. This leaves one member of the royal bloodline to take the throne, the Emperor's daughter. The leader of this rebellion is an evil man who thinks of himself as a gentleman, therefore spared the Princess's (now Empress's) life. However, he, in return, believes he will force her hand in marriage.
With rebels overtaking her people's capital and traitors within the walls of her own palace, the Empress has but one person left to trust, a knight who'd worked for the royal family even as a small boy.
Hello! You can call me A. Lovely to meet you. ^^ Now obviously, this is a rough idea with a lot of room for interpretation, but I am very excited to be able to see where this goes. Action and adventure, with a twist of romance-what's not to love?
