  taying on top is a meticulous game of money and manipulation. For both the Maynards and the Warners, two of the richest families in the US, everything has a price - especially each other’s demise.
  
  From the Montagues and the Capulets to the Starks and the Lannisters; the Maynards and the Warners are not the first or the last of feuding families. As owners of two of the world’s leading media conglomerates, both are vying for the biggest piece of the cake, and in New York City they’re direct competition. Both families must put aside personal, familial, and historical issues to take action in the businesses’ best interests, but all is easier said than done.
  
  Children, parents, siblings, cousins, love interests - can anyone be trusted? Or is everyone just looking for another opportunity to screw each other out of their share of the profit? Shareholders hang in the balance, as do the families’ futures. Whilst the old-school Maynards cling to the golden era of paper press and local TV networks, the Warners continue to make strides as an up-and-comer in big tech, cornering acquisitions in social media and digital entertainment. There’s only room for one king on the throne, and in this castle, money talks.

  Howdy!! This is a little interest check for a Succession inspired RP (no prior knowledge needed!!) which revolves around two very wealthy opposing families and the media conglomerates they run. There will be a whole bunch of opportunities for family drama conflicting with corporate upsets and the rising tensions between both the Maynards and Warners. Characters and their aims can go in any direction: do they want to be next in line for CEO? Do they want to change the face of the business? Are they conspiring with the enemy? Their path depends completely on the role in which they take, and how favourable they are to the head of the family.   This is an advanced/literate roleplay with a requirement of accurate spelling and grammar with minimal mistakes. Hey, sometimes it happens, but generally I want this to be a really precise and coherent RP. Please run plots that involve other characters through the RPer first to avoid stepping on anyone's toes, and aim to write upwards of 3+ paragraphs so everyone has something to work with.

I'm opening up the discord server (still a semi WIP) to make plotting characters easier. Just a slight warning: due to the high number of sibling applications it is likely that not all of them will be accepted. Currently we're much lower on other relations so I encourage anyone still making their character to consider other family dynamics/relationships. Hopefully the Discord will aid with this!
