Fandom A Day at the Office

It was a typical day. Spike was up to his usual nonsense, meandering about the building. As always, he strolled right into Angel's office without even thinking. "Hey, you know what I was....." Spike started to say. However, he stopped dead in his tracks. His words cut short at the sight that greeted him. Angel, a soft felt hand puppet seated at the desk. Spike's expressions ran the gamut from shock to flat out humor. "Spike...." Angel warned, a low growl in his voice. "You're a..." Spike stammered in amusement. "Spike..." Angel warned again. "You're a.....a..."Spike sputtered, now loosing control.

Angel attempted to shoot him a death glare. "A puppet!" Spike finally exclaimed. Puppet Angel shot of out of his chair and tackled Spike, knocking hin through the office doors and pinning him to the carpet in the hallway outside. "A wee puppet!" Spike exclaimed, dissolving into a fit of laughter as puppet Angel held him down. They wrestled on the floor as Spike exclaimed, "What are you going to do puppet man?" In between fits of laughter.

A voice finally broke through their squabble. "What are you imbeciles doing?" She asked, her soft and alluring voice filled with her usual boredom. She stood there, arms crossed, gazing down at them. Her name was Eliara. She was short and petite with brown hair and hazel eyes fierce and alluring. She was.....unique to say the least. You couldn't really call her a slayer. That was due to her immortality.

Despite her youthful appearance, her soul had lived since the 14th century. While she was a huntress, one who hunts prey and things, she was different from the slayers. She believed not all vampires needed to die. She had even managed to 'save' a few, causing them to change their ways. She reached down and picked up puppet Angel, carrying him back into the office. Spike immediately fell silent, his gaze lingering on her. He could never admit the truth, the fascination, admiration, and deep unrequited feelings he had fo her. No one had made him feel that way since Buffy. Yet, Eliara was totally unaware amd oblivious to that.

In fact, she was closer to Angel than him, as he helped keep 'Angelus' at bay. Their close bond only exacerbated Spike's usual problematic behavior. "There you go," she replied softly, setting puppet Angel back in his chair. "Now, shall we discuss...." She started to say to angel, however, Spike's usual antics interrupted them. She turned her gaze sharply in that direction, regarding him with a mix of exasperation and irritation. "Is that really necessary?" She demanded.
