I wasn't much of a fan of Nolan's Batman trilogy, especially the last instalment. But it did give me an idea to expand upon which seems like it has some potential. It would borrow loosely from the comics story arc Knightfall when Batman was put out of action and replaced temporarily by unhinged stand-in Jean Paul Valley A.K.A Azrael. I'd be writing my own version of that character spliced into a certain point in The Dark Knight Rises and he'll have his own agenda for going after the League of Shadows as the mercenaries lock down Gotham.
As for who the other character will be, well that's wide open. It could be anyone from an OC to Selina Kyle to an alternate version of Robin or Batgirl...the only character I'd rule out would be Talia Al Ghul for plot purposes. This character would become a reluctant ally of Azrael and should have their own agenda for helping him, but we can discuss and brainstorm that later.
I usually do multi-para replies and move the story and characters along, which means I work best with people who do likewise. I'd also be more comfortable writing with those aged 20 and upwards.
