In the far future of the 42nd Millenium, there is only war. The Golden throne that holds the Holy Emperor is slowly failing, the Astronomicon is drawing the Tyranids to holy Terra like a moth to the flame and Cadia has been taken by one of the worst heretics known to man that is still alive, Abbadon the Despoiler and the ancient beings known as the Necrons are awakening at an alarming rate; of which even the fading Eldar cannot hope to manage. The Galaxy as we know It is crumbling as malignant beasts, cancerous parasites and jabbering creatures beseech the Imperium. Yet there are a select few who do not care for this, they were cast aside from the light of the Emperor and forever shamed in some way yet not enough to grant them eternal peace in death or to gain retribution; they were found useful enough to serve as the crewmen of a recently dubbed Rogue trader, who is equally unsatisfied about this as they are.
You are one of those few; one of the crewmen of the small ship dubbed The Umbra
Whatever you were before you came to be part of this exiled group does not matter, be you part of the Adeptus Mechanicus, Imperial Guardsmen, or a Psyker you are now part of this tiny crew.
Why are you here exactly?....
That I'm unsure of but what is known is that the Commander of this sole ship was an Inquisitor, apparently quite the nasty one who was granted a Warrant of Trade because the Imperium still found some use of him; course that doesn't change the fact he spat blasphemy and has voiced opinions & idea's against the standard doctrine expected of an Imperial Citizen. You most likely were caught doing something on similar grounds, or maybe you're just one of the most unlucky people alive and was paired up with this group of heathens.
The case however still remains, you are now bound to this ship and crew.

This will be set in the modern 40k Universe and will be a Long term, Detailed Rp.
The Rp will follow the crew of the Ship Umbra, Who all have been practically condemned to an eternal suicide mission; tasked with exploring the Outer rims of the galaxy far, far away from the typical dangers and fraught with something worse.

You will play as a Human of varying Background, Psyker, Former Tech Priest Etc etc. Aliens and Space Marines will be unplayable, though Mutated Humans will be allowed. Further questions may be asked below!
