Foreword & Introduction
I believe I drew you here since the title belongs to a series, but I'm going to be honest with you: This is an inspired project, not a verse or adaptation. Therefore if you think you won't be happy with it, you can just stop reading it. I will be putting down as much as information I can in Extras but you can be loose and elastic with it while roleplaying. Yet also I must tell you that most elements which exist in books could be found in this project too! For people who don't know anything about the CH or basically Riordan universe, it's a fictional universe where mythical features actually exist and very well alive in modern world. In this project, we will be roleplaying as gods' mortal children from humans in modern world. There are certain limitations which would go natural for people who read series before, but also there are going to be certain loose ends so that we can create more diverse characters instead of being stuck in one certain type.
Here's more info and all about characters, and lore! And an ooc topic, of course. (Click)
If you are interested, contact me on my discord account and reply here under this thread! (Discord has literally no use other than communication, which you can do from here with PMs.) So without futher ado~

City is like heaven and it supplies itself. It has it's own police force, it's own production lines and farms. White coated buildings are decorated with blue lazuli stones. It is not limited by walls but is built on a wide mountain. Down the mountain, at the below you can see a wide, hazel blue endless ocean. Giant waves could be seen afar, which is broken by a reef closer to beach. It has a desert and a jungle on the other sides, almost divided by straight lines. It's a land truly creation of gods.
City lives through every kind of climate from extreme to mild. In land of Atlantis, death is still possible but in event of dying your soul can't be lost and will be sent straight to afterlife. Community has set it's own rules with time and does it's own elections inside. Each myth gets their own neighborhood in city but is not restricted by the neighborhoods. They just find that living with your own is healthier than living with others.
On the other hand, demigods are gifted with ability to handle themselves in emergency situations. Their instincts are honed for battle since they are born, and their eyes can see what mortals can not. Most demigods are able to atleast defend themselves with any kind of weapon, yet they won't be proficient enough without training on it. They can read their predominant language of godly parents and speak their mortal parent's language easily yet while trying to read normal words they will have problems.
Problem with demigods is that they are bound to fulfill their godly parents' desires and what they want, or they will suffer it's consequences. If there is a prophecy about them, they must take part in it or their fate will be cut short. If there is a thing their parent, or any kind of god, wants they must retrieve it for them. Gods are mostly cruel to their mortal children and although they don't speak about it openly, they don't value them as much as their immortal children. Demigods are expendable for gods and they behave in such way. Any compromise that is given to demigods were gained with deaths of thousands and are given only to keep them in line.
Each mythology mentioned has their own camps and own respectful guides. They have their own mentors and designs. Different demigods, for example a Norse demigod and a Greek demigod, won't be in the same mission together, they won't have their paths crossed in any time. Although if they set up from Atlantis they might attend to same quests, from camps they will never have any chance to do so.
Roman mythologies were generally about war and honor, therefore their culture and their deities are almost all about war. Discipline is a top priority in Romans and they believe chain of command is what brings you the victory in battles.
Greek mythologies were usually about adventure, journey and mystery. Their gods are far more independent and shady. As a culture, they would rely on individual success as well as strong community ties. Amongst themselves, they would be a fighting rabble yet against enemies they would unite quicker than others.
Norse mythologies were similar to Greek ones, they were about epic journeys and sagas. But Norse also was interested in exploring and raiding, they believed only strong shall survive. Norse people would unite under smaller, unbreakable groups. These groups could form by themselves when demigods are mere children, and they would last for their entire lives. They wouldn't get to pick who they got tied with and it would be considered fate, although it could even arrive later when they are very old. Some call these little gangs "Raiding parties", which is quite suitable when you consider why they form.
Egyptian mythologies are about settling, tradition and power projecting. Egyptian demigods will burn themselves in order to preserve traditions and they are rooted into ground where they are born. They make excellent judges and enforcers, but are also quite easy to provoke. Natural historians, they would know exactly things should be when they are in mythological sites.
Turkic mythologies are about creation and might. By tradition and choice, Turkic demigods are nomadic warriors and raiders. Their camps would move around the world, they would pick on weak and cater to strong. Any kind of weakness shown is a target for these demigods and will be exploited if needed. In their lifestyle, you either move with the horde or you are left behind for the vultures.
Powers are bestowed by blood and comes from godly parents. In order to be able to use them to their full extent, demigods must be recognised by their godly parents. That happens once they commit their lives to being demigods entirely. Each deity has their own domain, therefore their children only have powers in their domains. For example Zeus from Greek Mythology is god of the open sky, so his children would have ability to call upon lightning and ability to fly to some extent. Due to the fact that they are mortals, they can't command their domains entirely. Trying so will consume them.
Demigods are also affected by other mythological things such as mythological foods and drinks. For example, Greeks have Nectar and Ambrossia. Ambrossia heals demigods really well, though eating it more than necessary could burn through their body since they are also mortal. Each mythology has their own foods and drinks, their own charms and instruments.
Each mythology has their own set of monsters but with time, monsters have found ways to unite unlike demigods. Some work together in order to trap pockets of demigods for a feast and some even join up in same tribes to gather strenght. They can show up anywhere and they can follow demigods' smell. They will come back to life in short time after you kill them, weaker but alive again. They are mostly affected by special metal weapons demigods may carry, and those weapons are quite effective against them. Godly powers also affect them, and normal things like crushing them under a boulder could work too.
Demigods, under every circumstance, are to be outnumbered ten to one. Best they can do is avoiding as much monsters they can, and if they are caught they all know they will be fighting for their lives to escape. Atlantis City and Camps they have are only refuges they would find in the world and those places are protected by strong magical barriers for them. Gods had enough mercy to create those places for their mortal children.
Human parents for demigods can see and get involved with mythological things. They know they exist, therefore they try to hide their children until they grow up enough for the camps. It's a common thing to hide demigod children's real identity from them amongst human parents. That way, demigods won't leave a trail for monsters to follow. Some humans also may become affiliated with mythologies. They can become certain things such as Oracles or Shamans, and such humans are not affected from the mist as soon as they are born. They will be drawn towards mythologies with the time and will be discovered. It is their fate to become an instrument of gods.
Don't make it overpowered, add in some weaknesses.
Remember, Demigods are the ones who are desperate in world.
Your godly parent won't be affectionate towards you, unless they want something really specific with you.
You may dislike other demigods from other mythologies, but that doesn't mean they are your enemies. In fact, they are your distant allies.
Be creative with your scenarios and characters, don't expect everything out of me.
Characters must be OC, these kind of projects as usual won't accept or recognise Canon characters. That means, canon characters never existed in this project and never will.
