A Bloody Betrayal

tumblr_mi4oxi5B9J1s3nupio1_500.gif

Through America, in towns and cities near forests, many will find large populations of werewolves. For many years, about a century, werewolves and the humans lived together in peace, protecting each other from dangers each other might face (One of the few species that do). That was until something changed.

Due to a group, whom call themselves "The un-corrupt," believe that the people that believe the werewolves were on their side were wrong and were corrupt into thinking so. In efforts to prove that they were right, they found none, so they thought they would improvise. They kidnapped, murdered and staged the bodies so it looked like their werewolf friends did so. Soon, many started believing so and thus believed in the group. After gaining so many followers and growing, they work one by one, hunting and slaughtering their evil acquaintances.

Werewolves didn't stand back to watch their fellow brother and sisters die. They wasted no time training their young to fight, gain revenge and show no mercy on those with werewolf blood on their hands, for what they have done was completely utter betrayal. They believed of thought that those people should've believed that they wouldn't do anything like that, not after so many years of protecting them.

A pack lives in a mansion, which happens to be a safe house, near a forest, so they could hunt, and completely unknown to the mundanes around in the area. The safe house holds a small developed pack, mostly werewolves in their late teens with a purpose. The are to kill and only kill those that have killed werewolves, for there is no need to spill blood of those that have spilled none, at least not yet. An eye for an eye, but it is only a matter of time before there is a war.

Jonathan Christopher Ambrose

It was about mid-day in the middle of December when the young male Alpha crunched through the powdered snow around him and his pack as they approached their new home ahead of them from the forest it was completely surrounded by. The mansion was assigned to them by another fellow pack, a pack the consisted of those much older then themselves, because it wasn't completely safe for them to be roaming around from place to place and it would be easier on their bodies, or at least that was according to them. Jonathan decided to go with it so because he felt it would be good for them, not to mention it would good for them to actually sleep in an actually bed after bunking in abandoned places or caves for the while the pack has been together. The place was fully stocked and completely taken care of, according to this other pack, by a few trusted humans, humans that live near the pack, believing that they wouldn't hurt anybody and protecting the forest from hunters.

Stopping, he turned to his pack members, a small group, but still people he called his family and would do anything for them. Looking at them with his bluish grey eyes waiting for their attention. He was pretty much taller than the rest of his pack, mainly by a few inches, but he wasn't the oldest, one of his protectors was, Sergei, even though they are basically the same age, John just turned so. His eyes moved to each of his members: Sergei, Nicole, Laire, Sil, and a few others (in case some one joins), preparing to speak.

"
Okay, as you know, a nearby werewolf group as assigned us this mansion doubling up as a safe house, believing we should use it for our benefit and advantage and I know some of you don't really trust that it is cared for by humans or many others right now, but I believe he was right about this and I don't think he would be that type of werewolf to turn on his own people and I wouldn't do something that would risk harming any of you, but to make sure I will keep an eye out on the humans as they care for the house as a precaution.

"They also gave us a list of those in the immediate area that are responsible for a death or many deaths of those of our brothers and sisters that we like many others are to destroy and don't show any mercy to them because they never did to us, blaming us for a few crimes none of us would commit. There are many, that Laire and my sister will be on the look out for before we attack. No one is to go alone anywhere, we stick together or at least have one of us close by when you go somewhere, in case anything happens. You have your phones. I don't want to lose any of you and I am fairly sure you don't want to lose any of us.With that said, I hope we can adjust here and be okay, so let's go inside."

With the ending of his short speech, he walked up the brick steps to the wooden porch in front of the door to their new home or at least a temporary one. Pulling out a key from his pocket, he unlocked the door and walked inside, his sister following behind his footsteps. The house was lit by sunlight from floor to ceiling window and the house temperature was warm, but not to warm, just enough to start thawing some of their bodies. Placing the key on the table next to the door, he took his coat off and put it on the coat rack before leaving throughout the house, mainly towards the kitchen, which was two doors from the entrance, looking for something to eat.

Lilly had woken up very early this morning, jumpin out of bed she threw on a simple white dress...not bothering to brush her hair of anything, or even put on shoes when she dashed out the door. Something in her was guiding her through the forest that lay just behind her house, she wandered past tree after recognizable tree...she had seen these ones before...she came here many times.

Jumping up onto a fallen, rotting and covered in moss she suddenly blinked and inhailed deeply, she liked the oerk of being able to smell from at least a quarter of a mile...though she was dumbfounded that she picked up something she recognized. Human? Wolf? ...Werewolf... She paled and found herself breaking into a run instincts taking over, the wolf inside her clawed to break free...urning for a pack to call home... suddenly she slowed pushing the wolf away the wind changed pushing at her back she tensed. " Oh greaaat...well if they are werewolves they sure will smell me now " Lilly said to herself and sighed turning she began walking away now with the wind in her face she scented rabbit and her eyes flashed amber, a growl rising in her throat her eyes returning to normal " Damn, should have eaten before I came out here ".

She quickened her pace hoping they where to distracted by whatever they where doing to notice her scent, her footsteps where silent she was sure they called it velvet footed... Didn't matter it was great for seeing wildlife up close. Come to think of it that rabbit smelled close, maybe she could go see it... Just for a moment, bunnies always made her day lucky...and happy. Please please please don't let them pick up my scent. She had never met another werewolf the whole time she was one which she found both odd and a relief

Nicole Marie Ambrose

Nicole followed her brother all the way to the mansion. She wasn't sure about the whole mansion being cared for by humans, the same species that killed her brother and parents, so she was a bit bitter towards them. But she was willing to trust her brother instincts, knowing he always had the well-being of the pack at best hand. Stepping in front of the back, facing her brother, she watched and listened to him as the chilly air blew her hair to the side.

When her brother was finished, the pack headed inside, but Nikki's strong sense of smell picked up something and she was curious enough to go by herself to check it out. Ignoring her brother's orders to use some sort of buddy system, she followed the scent at the same time sneaking up on it, making sure she wouldn't be seen. She knew her brother would be a bit mad if he found out about her doing so, but she was reckless and willing to risk it, which was probably a bad thing but she didn't care.

Following the scent, she made her way to the woods, remaining quiet and hidden. Once she was close enough, she came out from behind her. "Hello," she greeted, not wanting to just be rash and move on. Though if she really had to, she could change or she always had her backup knives on her.

Lilly had parted the bushes and was watching the rabbit crouched low to the ground, then she heard someone speak and she tensed. She swallowed and slowly turned around she lowered her hands and her hands twitched as she began tapping her thigh now very nervous to be this close to another werewolf, she dropped down onto all fours.

Slowly she began to back away, growling quietly her eyes flashed amber...she tried not to seem scared, but her shaking gave her away. She quickly backed up till she bumped into a tree and she stood up straight, her tapping grew faster as her heartbeat got quicker. "H-hello" she hated when she studdered when scared, or even in a regular conversation sometimes

Sil Mulier

Sil followed her Alpha quietly, her dark blue scarf covering half of her tanned face as they walked. She was wearing a thin white jacket with a tank top underneath and a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, along with her black combat boots. Despite the fact that snow covered the ground, Sil was warm with her thin layers, thanks to her canine blood. When they arrived at the home they were to stay in, Sil snarled quietly from being her scarf, her long brown hair flowing faintly around her from the light breeze. She didn't like the fact that they were going to be staying in a location managed by humans, but she knew she'd have to listen to her Alpha and live here with her pack. She really did love her pack, but Sil couldn't stand to live in a place where humans lingered, no matter who they were. In a worst case scenario, she'd Change or have to be calmed down by her Alpha, but she hoped it wouldn't come to that.

After John's speech, Sil looked around at her pack with a small smile, happy to be in their presence, and able to feel them spiritually. The majority of them entered their new home, Sil following in pursuit as she has been the caboose of the group, making sure no one fell behind. However, when John's little sister wandered off, Sil ruled her eyes and followed. John would rather his sister have an escort, so hopefully he wouldn't be too angry. Sil moved quietly behind Nicole, knowing that she could be heard and smelled, so she made no effort to hide the crunch of snow beneath her lovely leather boots. However, what they came to was slightly shocking to Sil, mainly due to the size of the werewolf they had come upon. Sil could smell her easily, but she didn't expect the werewolf female to be so small. Sil raised an eyebrow and said nothing, looking directly into the smaller female's eyes until Sil's dominance was recognized by the fresh wolf girl. Sil said nothing as she stood beside Nicole, only watching the event to see how it would unfold.

Laire MacLain

Laire watched her Alpha speak before the cozy looking house silently. It did not bother her much that it was kept up by humans, the young woman knowing full well that humans were not the only beings that would see werewolves dead. Keeping her thoughts away from the sore memory, Laire followed her pack into the house. She noted Nicole walking off and stepped back to peer after her. Frowning, Laire knew their Alpha did not like his little sister alone, especially after he established a buddy system. A different scent carried in the air of another werewolf, a female.

Knowing her abilities were insufficient in protecting and not wanting to get Nicole in trouble with her older brother, Laire tapped Sergei's shoulder and pulled him out of the house and jerked her head to the disappearing form of Nicole into the forest. Sergei's jaw tightened with annoyance and he sighed knowingly, nodding to Laire as he stepped away from the house and began following after the wanderer when Sil took off instead. Grumbling in Russian, Sergei turned on his heel and reentered the warm house. For a Russian, the cold did seem to bother him. Then again, he was only in a t shirt and jeans.

Satisfied with the safety of her Alpha's most valued member, Laire entered the house and looked around. It was casual and not bare nor cluttered. Surprisingly homey as well. Laire moved from the front room that seemed like a lounge and entered the kitchen. The windows were big, from ceiling to floor and it unnerved her slightly that people could perhaps see in. She opened the fridge and found it well stocked with various cuisine and ingredients. Moving on, she climbed the stairs to find a second lounging loft and passed through to a long hallway where many rooms were. There were two bathrooms upstairs and one downstairs, which was nice with the amount of people in their pack.

Laire entered a simple room with a country like finish with complete wooden furniture and a green bedspread. "I claim the room with the green bed!" She called to the rest of the pack in the house and began claiming her small patch of territory by placing her ragged jacket on the back of the chair paired with a desk. Satisfied that she had solid lodging, she relieved herself in the clean bathroom, noting the high stockage of all necessary toiletries, even for females, and then traveled downstairs to the kitchen, sitting at the island on a bar stool as she watched Sergei curiously work his magic in the kitchen.

Sergei Blackwood

Sergei followed behind his pack as they approached the house. He came forward to listen to John's explanation of their circumstances and his eyes narrowed at the thought of humans caring for this place. That meant more loose ends which meant more chance of his uncle coming for him. Scowling internally, he found comfort in the house's warmth despite his genetically high tolerance to the chill. A tap on his shoulder had him turning and a shorter red head dragged him out to see John's sister walking off alone. Sergei's jaw twitched and he sighed, making to go after the rule breaker when he spotted his Beta going after her instead. He muttered in Russian about the mindlessness of women and went back inside the house.

Sergei was impressed by the upkeep of the house and looked around the first floor a bit where a kitchen, lounge, living room, bathroom, and a master bedroom all lay. Staying away from the master bedroom, Sergei headed upstairs and entered a room randomly, tossing his duffel bag and fiddle case on the plain bed in the plain room before his stomach growled.

Sergei promptly passed Laire in the loft and went back downstairs to the kitchen. He checked the fridge and was pleasantly surprised despite that his Alpha had already said the house was well stocked. He picked out some sausage and eggs as well as bacon from the fridge. Finding three pans, he set them on the glass stove and oiled them with butter. He chopped up the sausage and mixed it with the scrambled eggs in one pan and placed the bacon in the second. For the third, he poured in some oil and chopped some potatoes up into small cubes and fried them. He then started the oven and made rolls, putting a cookie sheet filled with biscuits into the heat and closing the door.

He felt hungry eyes boring into the back of his head as he tended the meal fueled by human hunger. Sergei lacked the patience of a hunt and he thought it would be nice to rekindle with his talent for cooking .

Lilly sat watching the now two werewolves with fear and frantic animal instincts urging her to change. Under the stare if the girl who had just casually walked up she shuddered and then quickly she turned, beggining to run...but she didn't run towards home, she ran the other way. What she didn't know us that it was around their house, till she broke out of the forest and was in the clearing around the mansion she tensed smelling way more wolves than she was comfortable with.

Why did I have to follow my damn instincts. Lilly thought as she then smelled food which made her stomach rumble and she turned around on side of the house a bit closer than before she slid across the snow and fell onto her side with a yelp. Shit! She though as she twisted around and got on her hands and knees trying to call on the wolf at least a little. When she found she hadn't yet mastered that she got up and prepared to run again, but her whole body was shaking...she was running in adrenaline. Though she knew she could fight if it came to that, which she hoped it didn't... She did however lean on the tree behind her to catch her breath. Human form lungs and their stupid low stamina. She growled

Nicole Marie Ambrose

Nicole glanced next to her, hearing the approach. Seeing who it was, she rolled her eyes. Of course someone had spotted me, take away all the fun in things, she thought. She figured someone had, she left without making sure everyone was inside, not to mention they like to make sure Jonathan was pleased, even if that meant making sure his little sister was in line, when she desperately wanted out of it, it was too constricting for her taste. But she guessed she would be a bit pleased with it since they are looking out for her, even if it was mainly for Jonathan's well-being.

Looking at her Beta, she shrugged. "Well, since they higher rank is here. I think my work here is done, not to mention my brother is usually good at this stuff. Well, I guess I mean he brought this pack together. So-"Nikki stopped when out of the corner of her eye, she saw the young girl run. Thinking of nothing to do, but to roll her grayish blue eyes and take off running after her, she did just that. Using her incredibly far from normal speed, well not as fast as some creatures, but still fast, she ran after the girl. With her scent, good sense of direction and speed working together, Nicole had caught up with the girl in no time, or at least where she headed. The edge of the forest.

Using her sense of smell, Nicole looked around for the girl, until she heard breathing in her increased hearing and followed it. She found the girl against a nearby tree.
"Looks like you need a bit more training, you haven't run from your life to often. Have you?" the brunette questioned, but it wasn't one she wanted an answer to. "I am just going to stand here until by Beta shows up and then I am going that way," she explained, pointing in the direction of the mansion. "For food." She was smelling the cooking, one of her pack mates were making and it made her mouth water for something to eat.

Jonathan Christopher Ambrose

As Jonathan made his first stop to the kitchen before picking his room, he walked straight to the pantry. He really wasn't feeling the want to eat something big or cook. He wanted something simple, easy to eat and easy to clean up. So, as he looked inside the large wooden pantry the was fully stocked, he scanned the available foods. Pop-Tarts 9in all available flavors), cookies, cereals, oatmeal, packaged doughnuts and other various snacks were all in there. After taking a minute to decide, he went with a package of pop-tart. Picking up the box of cookies and creme flavored toasted treats, picked out one package and placed the small box back

Hearing someone come in, he glanced to see Sergei, whom he greeted with a small head nod as a gesture before placing himself in front of the black microwave.Opening the aluminum wrapping, he placed his treats on a microwaveable plate and placed them in for the suggested time. As the microwave counted down the seconds, he went to the fridge to grab the bottle of orange juice, carried it to the counter, picked up a glass from a cabinet, carried that over and poured himself a glass. Hearing the beep beep beep of the microwave, he placed the bottle of orange juice back in the fridge, walked over to the microwave, took of the now heated pop-tarts, grabbed his glass and sat at the breakfast bar. He watched Sergei prepared his meal as he broke off a piece and another and another of his pop-tart and ate them and sipped on his orange juice.

Xetari Kane

Xetari listened to his alpha's speech with attentiveness. His spine stiffened at the mention of humans and he resisted the urge to shudder. He did not like the idea of being in such close proximity to them. His desire for revenge warred with his sense of security and anxiety. To try and hide this internal battle, he shook out his long, coarse hair. It fell in a tangled mess to the middle of his back. He wore his usual uniform of faded black jeans and an olive green military grade jacket. He wore no shirt under the jacket and his knot of chest hair poked through the zipper. After the alpha's speech, he followed suit with the others that went into the mansion. He took a deep breath and his black combat boots crossed the threshold. He took in his surroundings with distaste. It was posh and well maintained but that just made him dislike it even more. He trusted his alpha though and his upmost concern was for the safety of his alpha and the pack. He tossed his knapsack into an empty armchair in the front room. He preferred to sleep outside anyways. His ears perked at the sounds and smells of food coming from the kitchen but he disregarded it for the time being.

Intent on doing a search of the house for suspicious activity he climbed the stairs, running his scarred and rough hands over the banister as he went. He was disappointed to see how clean the railings were. Not a speck of dirt or grease. He noticed his muddy and torn boots were leaving marks on the carpet. He shrugged to himself and continued his ascent. Humans were more fit to be their servants anyways, if they could be trusted. He began a search of the upstairs, sticking his head in each bedroom and smelling for suspicious scents. Finding nothing out of the ordinary, he paused in the door frame of the bedroom with the green bedspread. He noticed Laire's jacket on the desk chair and did a quick inspection of the room to ensure its safety. When satisfied, he moved his way downstairs, leaving the trail of mud behind him as he went. His nose followed the scent of food in the kitchen and he leaned in the door frame observing Sergei make food preparations. He crossed his arms across his chest and resisted the human urge of hunger in his stomach. He much preferred to hunt as a wolf and would attend to that desire after he was sure that the house was secure and the rest of the pack was back inside. He cleared his throat and said in his usual raspy voice to the kitchen at large, "A bit domesticated here, isn't it? While all this human food looks tempting, wouldn't it be nice to have some raw deer flesh to wash them down with?" He grinned in his lopsided manner, the chips in his teeth glinting in the low kitchen light. Noticing his alpha, he strolled over to take a seat beside him and addressed Jonathan in a more serious manner, "I did a perimeter check of the upstairs and the downstairs. The house seems secure and safe. I will keep my nose alert, just in case. I'm sure you are right about our safety but I can't help but feel uneasy here with so much human scent lingering." He inclined his head towards his alpha in a gesture of deep respect. Xetari cared deeply about the pack but even more so about the safety of his alpha. He would give his blood and strength in an instant to defend them all, especially Jonathan.

Sergei Blackwood

Sergei nodded to Jonathon as he finished flipping the bacon and set them on a pot holder on the counter to let them get crispy but not burn. He did the same with eggs mixed with sausage and continued tending the cubed hash browns. He looked over at Xetari who had his arms crossed in the door way and spoke to him about raw deer meat. "Be a grouch all you want. If you will not have the 'domesticated' food, more for me." He grinned back, flashing his canines as his packmate went to join sitting with their Alpha.

A sudden scramble and clatter of a fallen stool had him jump in surprise, some oil landing on his forearm. Cursing in pain, Sergei whirled around to see the ends of Laire's hair disappearing out of the kitchen followed by the opening and closing of the front door. Shaking his head and giving Jonathan a measured look to see if he was worried which it seemed not, he placed his forearm under cold water for a minute. Arm safe from blistering, Sergei got out a large plate and placed a thick layer of paper towels on it. He poured as much oil as he could without losing any precious potatoes and then poured the rest of the contents on the big plate he had prepared for them. The biscuits were ready by this time and he pulled them out and placed them on the island over pot holders. Satisfied with his handy work, he picked up a piece of bacon from the cooling pan when he finally picked up the scent that had alerted Laire over the mouthwatering aromas of his cooking.

Sergei finished his bacon and looked to his Alpha and Xetari. "Seems like your sister met someone with Sil." He addressed Jonathan. Glancing at Xetari, he flicked his gaze back to his Alpha. "Want us to interfere or let the women work it out?"

Laire MacLain

Laire greeted Jonathan warmly when he appeared out of the pantry. She swung her legs as she watched Xetari descend the stairs and give a salty comment to Sergei's cooking. Smiling at the easy tension as the fighter sat next to their Alpha and reported on his check on the house, a familiar unfamiliar scent reached Laire's keen nose. It was the female werewolf. And closer to the mansion.

She spun from her seat so fast, the stool clattered to the ground followed by Sergei crying out in pain. The ginger didn't mind this as she dashed out of the house without thinking and followed the scent to see Nicole with a scared looking girl. Laire approached the pair cautiously, trying to judge the unknown werewolf's state of mind. The girl didn't seem like she had any illwill against them so Laire stood next to Nicole and looked at the shorter female leaning against the tree.
"Who are you?" Laire pursed her lips as she asked gently. "Or more importantly, are you hungry?" She jerked her head to the mansion Nicole had been pointing at earlier. Then, looking around, she regarded the Alpha's little sister. "Where's Sil?"

Lilly growled and moved away from all the werewolves that seemed to have noticed her and she tapped on her thigh very quickly till she said shakily "I'm a-actually quite g-good at r-running" then she sucked on a deep breath and slowly let it out before she pushed off the tree and began running again as fast as she could getting an extra boost of speed from her lycanthropy. She flashed past many tree's and suddenly changed direction she didn't know where she was going now with all these scents mixing together and blending.

Then she broke into a new clearing with a huge mansion towering over her, she planted her feet, hair flying forwards as she slipped and to catch herself she flipped forwards and did two more flips before landing on both feet. She took a moment to stand there arms outstretched till she giggle
"Ha ha! Stuck the landing...on snow, yes!" Then she remembered what she was doing and she looked to the mansion tensing back up her smile faded and she frozen in place when she smelled the scent of an Alpha, a shudder ran down her spine and she swallowed.

Sil Mulier

Sil narrowed her eyes at the Alpha's sister before looking back at the new wolf female, who tended to run. Sil watched as the younger werewolf bolted, as Sil had predicted, and continued to observe Nicole running after her. The new wolf will want to head towards the Alpha, best to head to the mansion. Sil thought to herself and jogged in the direction of the mansion rather than the direction of the new werewolf. Not long after did Sil arrive at the mansion did the new wolf arrive there as well. Sil approached her silently, then put a warm hand on the girl's shoulder. In a calm, relaxed tone, Sil spoke to the girl, Beta speaking to the fresh wolf.

"We will not harm you. You are safe with us, as we will protect you. Do not be afraid." Sil spoke in soothing tones, allowing her wolf to calm the girl's frightened wolf, hoping her instincts would tell the girl the Beta was safe. Sil glanced towards the mansion, feeling the Alpha nearby, and called to him through the pack bond, hoping he'd come greet the frightened wolf and tell them what to do about her. Sil's stomach growled at the smell of Sergei's cooking, so she hoped they'd hurry, since she hadn't eaten that morning. Her call upon the Alpha most likely affected the others in the pack, but she hoped the others would stay away so as to not overwhelm the scared wolf.

Sensing Laire come up behind her from the direction of the mansion, she glanced at her. She figured it was yet another werewolf on protection duty, nothing was new. She had always been the one to do things without permission, stray off, find herself in awful predicaments with her reckless and stubborn behavior. Since she started, Jonathan has been putting the rest of the pack on her, without sending the pack to watch over her. It was more of "Keep a lookout on everyone as a precaution unless your looking out for my sister." But he didn't get that the more you do that, they more she was going to do it or try to. It just how it works.

Nicole had stepped back as Laire tried to do her things, but that failed with another escape from the girl. "I give up," she stated. "And to answer you're question. Sil was in that general direction when I left her to chase new girl over there." she said, as she pointed in the direction she had ran from. "Though she might've moved from that spot. But, we might as well go in the direction of the mansion, since that where she started running."

Heading of the direction of the entrance of the mansion, she sensed the Beta's mental call and knew she was growing close. Trekking through the snow, the cold air numbing her face, she reached the entrance, seeing the Beta with the new girl. "Laire, I found her. Well both hers," she shouted, before finding her way inside, finding her brother walking out and giving her a small look of disappointment, but at the same time, with some look as if he was slightly impressed. She ignored it and made her way to the kitchen.

"Hey Sergei," she greeted, as she arrived into the kitchen looking around.

Jonathan Christopher Ambrose

Jonathan though it was a bit strange how fast Laire ran out, but then sensing his Beta outside, he figured he would check it out in a second because Xetari came in and started his comments on the house. He knew Xetari was one of the few that wouldn't trust it, he was more wolf than human, while the rest tried to keep a balance, it seemed to John that Xetari wasn't that type of guy. He didn't comment on Xetari's comment, because he felt it was Xetari's opinion and he couldn't change that and given everybody's history, everyone had a right to an opinion, it wasn't his job that change that.

Glancing up at Xetari as he took a seat beside Jonathan he nodded. "I appreciate your help with the scouting and the nose alert.I do understand your concern and all, like I said before I will keep an eye out, but the other werewolf pack didn't seem the type of pack that would send those out into a dangerous place to be massacred, bot when our number are dwindling, but there will be precaution." the dirty blonde explained, looking into the eyes of the male next to him.

Looking at Sergei, he nodded. "Of course my sister did," he replied, nodding slightly, a slight look of disappointment crossed his face. They haven't been here long and his sister was already looking for trouble. He figured his buddy system worked, because who knows what his sister would be getting into if she went alone. "I should probably check it out being Alpha. We may have a new member on our hands" he explained, getting up. "I will be back, don't touch my last pop-tart," he added, looking back.

As he left to check on the new person, he passed his sister walking in, giving her a look that was a mix of disappointment and approval, before walking to the new girl. Seeing her, he greeted her with a smile. "Hello. Who might you be?' he questioned with kindness in his voice.

Xetari Kane

Xetari accepted Jonathan's comments with an easy nod and a shrug of his shoulders. He knew that his unease being in the human house bordered more on paranoia. Better to be paranoid and alive than dead, he thought to himself. He smiled crookedly at Jonathan, "Good point. I'm sure we're safe but I'll keep a lookout just the same. Let me know if there is anything else you need me to do. I'm going to sleep out on the porch tonight, just keep an eye on things." He turned in interest to Sergei's comment about the women outside and chuckled quietly to himself. Jonathan's little sister had a lot of fight in her and he admired that in another werewolf. He inhaled deeply, breathing in the scent of the newcomer outside. Her scent was filled with fear. This made the muscles in his neck tense and he rolled his shoulders back to try and even out the tension. He knew that it was just a scared wolf but all the same, newcomers made him uneasy. To calm himself and prevent his instincts from carrying him outside and accidently freaking out the young wolf with his rough personality, he turned to Sergei, "Have any interest in hunting later today? We could scout out the surroundings and scent out where these humans are residing. I don't trust being so close to them, I'd like to keep an eye out." As he spoke he gathered his knot of hair together and began threading a leather strap around it to pull it away from his face. The stubble growing on his face was beginning to give him a rather frightening appearance but he did not care. He paid little attention to what he looked like.

He turned as he saw Nicole enter the kitchen and flashed her a grin as he waggled his eyebrows, "
Getting into trouble already, Nicole? Tsk, tsk. Are you out recruiting new members to the cause?" He laughed as he spoke, lightly teasing the girl but it was without malice.

Sergei Blackwood

Sergei watched with patient eyes as Jonathan left the kitchen. He dished himself some eggs and a roll while he considered the fighter's offer. It would be strategically benefitting and he could find no reason against the idea. Finally he nodded. "Yes, I think that would be best for safety of pack."

Sergei watched as Nicole entered the kitchen, no doubt baited by the aroma of his cooking. "Hello, little hedgehog." His petname referred to the disheveled hair she had one morning when he had been sent to wake her up. It had him chuckling in surprise for five minutes that morning. Sergei tossed her a role as Xetari poked fun at the Alpha's younger sister and Laire entered, taking the Alpha's seat. She was eyeing the pop tart but wisely chose to pick from what Sergei had made. Sergei was a bit interested in the newcomer who was no doubt outside of the mansion, the smell of fear ruining the scent of bacon. He decided to watch the conversation outside quietly and moved to a window, hiding behind a curtain to refrain from the new female becoming further frightened.

The woman was like a mouse cowering like she did. Sergei frowned. He had never met a werewolf so frightened unless they were on Death's doorstep and this woman was nowhere near such an unpleasant place. Deciding that she was too unstable to trust with the leader and adviser of his pack, he left the kitchen and went outside, staying on the porch and out of sight from the group as he ate slowly from the mountain of food on his plate, ready if the new female tried anything funny and was stronger than she let on.

Laire MacLain

Laire took off after Nicole, though she wasn't as fast. She was more of a cross country and long distance runner. After she felt the mental pull of Sil, she heard Nicole's confirming shout just as she appeared into the clearing with the mansion. She watched Sil and the scared female werewolf until Jonathan was outside, talking to her.

Currently at ease with the safety of all pack members despite her position as hunter, Laire skipped up the steps into the mansion and into the kitchen, promptly sitting next to Xetari. She swung her legs on the stool as she eyed an uneaten pop tart but insyead reached across the counter and swiped a biscuit, putting a slice of bacon between the buns and munching on it in a ravished manner. "We'll need more bathrooms if people keep joining." She joked merrily, elbowing Xetari to get a reaction out of the stiff dark haired man.

Lilly jolted when the girl place a hand on her shoulder, she jerked away and with so many people around she shuddered. Seeing the Alpha come out she lept away and crouched low to the ground trying to growl, though it came out as a half whine and she flicked a bit of her hair out of her face. She called on the wolf again and shoved it forwards to get her to change, her eyes flashed to amber as the wolf came to the surface. She cried out smally in pain.

Her canines sharpened into fangs as her ears pointed and fur sprouted all over her body, bones grinned against each other as they shifted around forming the body of a wokf, her tail slipped out from the top of her tail bone and she whined in pain as her ears fully formed. Once the change was done a dusty brown and black wolf stood in her place, the fur on the back of her neck bristled and she growled backing away staying close to the ground both protecting her soft underbelly and tto make sure she was sturdy enough so that if she was tackled it wouldn't be as easy to knock her over.

Her gaze flicked over to the guy on the porch eating and watching this little scene, she bared her fangs laying her ears flat against her head...though her tail gave her away as it was tucked between her legs. Smelling all the food her mouth watered, drool dripped down her snarling muzzle she backed closer to the woods shaking still

Sil Mulier

Sil's eyes flashed a bright green when the girl leapt away and began to Change, causing Sil's wolf to surface slightly. She let out a shuddered breath and stood, walking towards the front of the mansion. Since the Alpha was present, Sil was relieved of duty, and he would no longer need her aid. Strange, the new wolf did not respond to my natural calm state.. Sil thought to herself, frowning in thought. She pulled her scarf further up her face, covering her nose and her mouth. She approached Sergei, her light blue eyes flashing their pale green slightly as she approached him, but she was determined to calm herself down. She stood beside him, looking him in the eyes until he decided to look away.

"How goes things, Sergei? I see you are keeping watch for us all, as usual." She kept her speech quiet and short, since she preferred silence and calm airs. Her wolf was itching to surface, but she decided to Change later, despite the pain. "I heard you and Xetari are planning a hunt later on?" She asked, her eyes more green than blue at that moment, surrounded by the tan color of her skin. A couple strands of hair were in her face thanks to the wind, but she didn't really mind them as she leaned against the doorway, facing Sergei.

Glancing at Xetari, she had an unimpressed expression on her face. "Bite me," she stated, knowing he was just joking and she was too. Giving him a small smile in return, she glanced at Sergei, quick enough to quickly catch the roll that was thrown at her. "You too, but hey," she said, knowing the story behind him calling her that and couldn't help but smile at the memory. It was one of the best memory she had and there were a quite a few good ones.

Walking around the kitchen, she was going to find something else to eat, but decided on eating what Sergei fixed up. Grabbing a plate from a cabinet, she fixed herself a plate full of the mixture. Sitting across from Laire, she began eating. She finally relieved her hunger and her mouth watering as she ate Segei's delicious meal that he cooked up. "You should be our permanent cook," she teased, but also complementing. But it was to no avail because he left.

Jonathan Christopher Ambrose

Jonathan has looked at the new girl and noticed her unwilling, but at the same time willing change. He noticed she was willing to to defend herself, but it was like she didn't want to change unless she needed to. He noticed that he Beta was about to change but resisted it, which was good. You could never know what can happen with a frightened wolf, it could be quite dangerous and preferred no one provoke her. If anything, he wanted to calm her nerves a bit and he knew exactly how to do it. By taking her away, he would settle her nerves from being surround by a pack that would threaten to hurt her if she did anything.

Looking at the young transformed girl, he softened his expression and face. "How about I take you somewhere less crowded?" he suggested. He wanted to show his kindness and such so she would hopefully calm down and he could hopefully convince her everything was okay. Maybe he could perhaps convince her in joining them. She obviously needed the training in transforming on command, that he noticed at first. "Or do you want something to eat?" he added, thinking perhaps it may be the key to winning her over.

Xetari Kane

Xetari jumped at Laire's touch and gruffly joined her laughter, "Better make sure you assert your claim when it's time to get ready in the mornings." His eyes roamed to Nicole and he retained his lopsided grin which as always, looked more like a grimace. Keeping his eyes on Nicole, he took a fork, and stabbed a piece of food off her plate. He casually threw it in his mouth and then instantly made a face, "Human food... disgusting." Winking at her, he passed the fork back and set it next to her plate, perfectly aware of how obnoxious he was capable of being.

Smirking happily with himself, he flexed the muscles in his arms and placed both hands behind his head. His boots, still muddy, were beginning to leave long streaks across the cream pastel floor as the mud began to dry and flake off. Casually leaning towards Laire, he said in an undertone, "
When do you think we're going to start making plans against the humans? The scent of them all over this house is starting to make me hungry for a different type of food." He smiled down at her, baring his teeth. It was in moments like this that Xetari's calm demeanor could change like a drawn curtain in a lighted room. The laughter in his eyes extinguished and all they hold is a bone deep desire for revenge. He could sense his darkness coming out and hoped he did not scare Laire off. Despite his issues with retaining close relationships, he was desperately lonely for a friend. Something that the animal in him rebelled against but the humanity in him craved.

It was hard for him to think of anything else besides his revenge when the scent of humans burned like bleach in his nostrils. It was going to be time for him to hunt in his wolf form soon or he would not be able to control his blood thirst for much longer. That was one way at keeping the wolf satisfied, the more pure flesh it received, the more calm he was able to use in the presence of his pack in their human forms.

Lilly swallowed and her stomach growled, she was hungry, and she did want to run away...but she settled with laying down right where she crouched. Still growling a bit she licked her muzzle and slowly laid her head on the ground looking up at Johnathan she whined quietly and let her lips relax as she swallowed again.

After a moment of being in the Alpha's presence she felt her wolf submit and she looked away from Johnathan rolling over onto her back she showed her belly. Pawing at her face she covered her eyes with her wrists just above her paws, she sniffed at the scent of food pouring out the mansions kitchen window. Her stomach grumbled a second time and she whined licking her muzzle again.

Sergei Blackwood

Sergei met the changed wolf's gaze straight on as he took a bite of eggs while she tried to intimidate them with her fangs but her tail speaking otherwise. She was no threat currently in Sergei's opinion, even in her changed form. But his own hackles were raised metaphorically as he continued to observe the situation until he was needed to interfere; interference meaning he'd put the scared whelp down.

He watched as Sil approached him, the female Beta looking on the verge of snapping yet trying to keep calm. She looked him in the eye like she always tended to do to subconsciously enforce her dominance. After a rebellious moment, he lowered his own gaze respectfully. He did not like the forced feeling of being lesser than someone but this was hardly the time to add extra drama. If he wanted to resolve that matter peacefully, he would have to trust his pack more to become an effective adviser to the Alpha if he was even considered for the position as Beta.

Then she started speaking. Sergei listened intently as he multitasked, eating another forkful from his mountain of eggs and sausage while keeping his senses trained on their Alpha and the scared female.
He shrugged in regards to her first question. "Seems everything is going well enough for me. Unlike you and Jonathan." He nodded at the situation in the clearing. "She is like mouse. Should we invite such weakness into our pack? If she continues like this, I will have to take care of her for sake of pack." He paused as he implied he would rid of the new female. Sergei then looked down at his plate and offered it, still heeped with steaming food, to his Beta. "Xetari thirsts for raw deer meat. And we plan to scout out surrounding area even though it is hunters who must scout. But we must still protect." He looked at the forest line as he said this. "Why? You wish to join?" He raised a brow at her in curiosity, noticing the subtle shift of color in her eyes, before turning his head back over to keep both eyes on the changed female submitting to Jonathan and his ears on Sil.

Laire MacLain

She chuckled as Xetari went along with her joke and finished her mini breakfast sandwich as he took some of Nicole's food. The red head raised a brow at the annoying act and met Nicole's gaze for a second. Then, the big hairy beast she was sitting next to loomed over her in stalled darkness. Laire pursed her lips and noted the dirt tracks he had been leaving across the mansion.

Not letting his vulgar aura influence her, she looked up at the tall fighter and shrugged as she made herself a second bacon breakfast sandwich.
"As soon as Nicole and I need to. We might start tonight, maybe tomorrow." She paused, processing what he had said about craving a different type of meal.

A sly smile crossed her features as she suddenly turned on him and stood on the support cross bar of her stool to gain height leverage over him and pinched his nose until he opened his mouth to breathe and tried to shove the bacon sandwich into his mouth.
"If you don't like bacon, you have a condition." She teased, grunting with effort to keep the roll and bacon in his mouth.

Nicole eyed Xetari as she ate her plate of food. She looked at him straight in his eyes as he took her fork, stabbed at the contents on her plate and ate it. She couldn't help but smile. "You should get used to it, it's actually quite okay. But there is really something wrong with hou in the head for saying that," she said taking her fork back and stabbing the contents on her plate and ate it. She knew there something was going on with him though. He hated humans for a reason, so he is going to hate everything about them, or just about everything.

Looking at her red head friend, she took a deep breath, ignoring the pet peeve of Xetari's muddy shoes. Thinking about Xetari's and Laire's little small talk she prepared an answer. "Whichever you prefer. It don't mind me as long as our Alpha is okay about it, but I am pretty sure he won't mind. He is a bit preoccupied with the new girl," she said with a small smile. Jonathan wasn't doesn't like her doing a lot of things because, according to him, she was always getting into trouble. But she always thought trouble was finding her.

Jonathan Christopher Ambrose

Jonathan couldn't help but smile at the new girl's actions. He knew it was his Alpha presence that was forcing her to submit to him, or more like convincing her to. She could've done one of two things: submit to him or threaten him, but she didn't think she would be the type to choose the later , which was good for him.

Hearing the girl's stomach growl and watching her lick her lips of her muzzle, both signs of hunger , he thought of something. "Okay, how about some food first," he suggested, gesturing towards the direction of inside. He thought he could help her with her growing hunger , mainly caused by Sergei, then he could take her somewhere where the two could talk.

He stepped back on the wooden porch, before thinking that she might need help changing back. Looking back, he offered her a small, calm smile. "If you need help changing back, try calming down, relaxing the nerves and mucles and think human. That worked for Nicole for her first time, though I sometimes think that Chris had something to do with it," he stated' absentmindedly mentioning his older brother. He didn't do that often or at all really. He was 't sure any of the back knew about it since Nicole didn't mention it much either. They were private about it and he was pretty sure it was the only thing he was private about.

Lilly looked to the mansion and she hesitantly got up, shaking out her pelt she kept her head low and stayed in wolf form following Johnathan. She avoided the guy on the porch and kept her eyes glued to Johnathan's boots as she sat down on the porch shaking till she relaxed and let her body change bavk into human form so she could eat. Though this meant she now crouched naked, hugging her knees on the porch blushing bright pink...being out in the cold she shivered.

Lilly made sure not to make eye contact with anyone, some of her hair fell in front of her face as she stayed right where she was hoping to get some clothes. Why did I just have to come out here...now I'm sitting on a porch, stark naked, with a house full of werewolves right next to me...Hey at least I get to eat. Lilly thought and mentally smiled at her own sarcasm

Sil Mulier

Sil blinked when she realized she was being dominant towards Sergei and frowned beneath her scarf, then pulled it down so he could see her face fully. "Sorry about that. Her fear has me on edge. Normally I'm more...reserved..." Sil had a conflicted look upon her tan face as she looked away from Sergei towards the inside of the mansion. The scent of humans, the fear of the new wolf, all of that was causing Sil's wolf to be touchy, so she knew she needed to Change soon. When she had heard about a possible hunt going on, and a search for humans, she wanted to be involved.

"If you don't mind, Sergei, I would like to join you. It would be nice to let her out for a while." Sil gave Sergei a faint smile, hoping to seem friendlier than before. Her pale green eyes reverted back to their original light blue, warmer and calmer than the intense green. As he offered the plate to her, she let out a shuddered breath, but shook her head faintly. "No thank you." She was hungry, but she hadn't done a good job as Beta and was also asserting her dominance over the pack, which she didn't like to do too often. She could eat later, and allow her Alpha's pack to retain their own strength. "You eat up. Need to be strong, right?" She gave him another weak smile and then glanced down at the new wolf as she approached them on the porch.

The new wolf changed back into the female human she was before the Change, now stark naked. Sil didn't have much to give, but she removed her jacket and placed it on top of the girl, wrapping it around her. "Here, put this on." Sil spoke soothingly to the girl, her wolf still wanting to be protective and motherly, in a way. Sil was now in her tank top, but her warm blood prevented her from being too cold, although that didn't stop the Beta from shivering lightly, which was something she hoped wasn't observed by the other pack members.
