Lurker
* Alyssa stood in front of the mirror, a look of horror on her face. She stared at the refection that stared back at her. She did not recognize it. Staring back at her was the most horrid creature she had ever set eyes on. It's lips were parted, sharp teeth smashed down, black liquid oozing from the gaps among its teeth. Scarlet eyes pierced her soul. It's skin burnt and torn into shards that hung from its bone. No blood was apparent, the only thing that made it look human was the locket that hung from its neck. Tears well up in her eyes as both her hands flung to her face. The creatures claws shot up as well. A silent scream escaped her lips. It could not possibly be her, she could not possibly look so horrid. Her fingers traced on her soft skin, there was no evidence that connected this creature to her. She lowered her eyes as she walked over to her bed. a tear ran over her cheek as she sat down. She heard a knock on her door.*
"Allysa, I am coming in." *the voice came through the door. The door creaked open and a being entered. She ignored the entrant as she laid down, closing her eyes.*
"Alyssa, it is time to take your medication." *he commented as he looked down at her.*
"I don't want to... It numbs my soul." *she whispered from behind her hands.*
"You will take it, it is part of the conditions of you staying here." *he said as he forcefully removed her hands from her face.*
"Please don't make me." *she screamed*
*He strapped her down in her bed. "Please, please.... don't do this." *she cried out. He ignored her and placed a steel contraption over her head. He shoved steel rods into her mouth and cranked the gear next to her head. The gear squealed as the contraption forced her jaws part. Tears rolled down her cheeks, her eyes screaming in pain.* "There you go." * The man said smiling down at her. He threw a handful of pills into her open mouth. A vindictive smile curved onto her lips as he threw a glass of water in after the pills. She nearly chocked, but the pills were forced down her throat. She felt herself fall, deeper and deeper into a dark depth, one she couldn't escape from.*
