  Hello everyone! Recently I've been replaying a super cute visual novel called Our Life, a game that centers on your character growing up in a coastal town alongside your next door neighbor and lets you create your own love story if you so chose. It's by far my favorite visual novel game and it's planted a desire for a cute romance story in my head that wont leave me alone, so here I am! Knowledge of the game wont be required, as all I'm doing is borrowing the vibes from that universe.

  Nestled on the California coast, the sleepy little town of Seahaven's population is predominately comprised of elderly folk that moved there for the peace and quiet or vacation homes that sit silent and empty for most of the year. Mostly considered a tourist attraction, Seahaven sees little in way of visitors outside of the summer months. With how little that goes on in the town, news spreads like wildfire at the mention that someone new might be moving into town.
  
  My character has lived in Seahaven for as long as they could remember and the house across from theirs has remained empty ever since the family that previously lived there moved away. Imagine their surprise when they come home one day from frolicking in the ocean to see the 'For Sale' sign gone from the front yard and a moving truck parked in the driveway. They watched the scene curiously, wondering if they would finally have another child their age to play with; there were not any other children that lived on their street and their older sister didn't like playing with them sometimes, so she didn't really count.
  
  Regardless, their life in Seahaven was about to change, for better or for worse.​

  ☀ The Boardwalk: Seahaven's main attraction for tourists. Includes the typical boardwalk attractions such as a Ferris Wheel, roller coaster, carousel, arcade, as well as snack stands, magic shows and stands where visitors can play games to win prizes.
  
  ☀ Restaurants: A cafe as well as a seafood, burger, and Chinese restaurant can be found in Seahaven though if visitors wanted a larger variety of places to eat at, they would need to drive to the nearest city.
  
  ☀ The City: Sunset City is just north of Seahaven and serves as the entertainment district for the smaller towns settled around it. Here one could find movie theaters, a mall, a bowling alley, as well as other places typically found in larger cities. This is also the place where the children of Seahaven attend school.
  
  ☀ Grocery Store: Seahaven sports a small grocery store that suits the needs of those living there, though some residents will drive to the city to make use of the larger stores found there.
  
  ☀ The Market: Every Sunday there is a Farmers Market that is set up in Seahaven's largest parking lot.​
