Good morning/afternoon/night!
I just created an account on this site today & would love to find some new writing partners. Currently, Iβm looking for about 1 - 2 partners! Iβve been roleplaying on a different site for a while and now decided to branch out a bit - excited to be here!
What Iβm offering & looking for:
Iβd ask you to be an adult, preferably 20+. Post length can vary between a medium and a more detailed length. Iβm thinking anywhere between 400 - 800 words as a general idea, which can of course be adjusted up or down depending on how we're feeling. I prefer third person over first person. And I really enjoy talking to my partner about our characters, planning out the next plot events, maybe even creating little mood boards for our characters and such. β₯
So as you can already tell from the title, I'd love to write a fantasy romance together with you!
This can be either a high fantasy or a modern/urban fantasy setting. I'd still like to have a ( somewhat ) well-planned plot in the foreground of the roleplay, but I wish for the romance to also play a central part in it. Maybe 60/40 plot/romance? Then we have a clear direction of where the story will go, while also giving our characters enough time to get to know one another.
As of right now, I don't have a super specific plot in mind, so I'll just list some ideas I'd be in the mood to write down below.
Character ideas:
Royals, rebels, power-hungry courtiers, mages both good & evil, adventurers, magical creatures such as vampires, werewolves etc., gods, demons, soldiers, bodyguards.
Setting ideas:
Classic medieval inspired fantasy with influences from all of the continents, Regency-era inspired fantasy with lots of balls and strict social conventions, urban fantasy set in either a made up city or an actual real city with a heavy focus on politics & crime, a very magical fantasy world such as an elf court in the woods or a kingdom in the sky.
Romance ideas:
Enemies-to-lovers, friends-to-lovers, arranged marriage, star-crossed lovers Γ la Romeo & Juliet, second-chance romance, opposites attract, grumpy x sunshine trope.
For romance, we can do m/f, m/m, f/f, enby// etc., I like writing all of them!
Plot point ideas:
Court intrigue, an adventuring journey, a rebellion, an infiltration, the ascension of a new ruler, a central mystery in need of solving.
We can just throw whatever elements you like from my lists together and use that as a starting point. We can also do multiple characters if we canβt decide on just one couple!
And Iβm of course open to other ideas apart from the ones I listed as well.
