This is a plot I came up with a couple years back on another RP site. Now I want to try it again, but 1x1 and better than before.
Basically, you and I are in high school, and we've taken it upon ourselves to investigate the mysterious house on Sunset Street in the northeast part of town. While the other houses go in order from 1 to 235, 729's number is the least of its oddities. The history of it has been all but wiped out by the city government, and it's been abandoned for decades - yet somehow, the exterior remains in pristine condition.
The older folks who have been around town for a while and anyone who works for the city refuses to acknowledge it. They brush it off as something unimportant. Even the people who didn't grow up in town feel the bad vibes surrounding the topic and try not to discuss it much. Rumors say the Men In Black cart you away if you do.
Kids, however, as the naturally curious creatures they are, talk about it all the time, daring each other to ask about it, or step on the lawn, or peer through the window, or knock on the door. The bravest of the brave (drunk high school seniors getting ready to graduate and leave town) have even entered the house, only to remember nothing about their experience when they come back out.
Weird stuff.
So we decide to spend the night, pack our stuff, and go in. Only for the front door to disappear. No poof of smoke, no sound, no warning, nothing. It's just gone.
If you need a rundown of what else goes on: Endless hallways, sideways rooms, water-fire in the fireplace (yes, water-fire), kitchen cooking by itself, tiny sharks and fish swimming happily in the mini-ocean toilet, a room with an eyeball for a ceiling....
Oh, yeah, and demonic monsters.
Anyone wanna play?
As far as me and my preferences, I'm wanting this to be casual, as I am in school, doing extracurriculars, and writing for other RP's. Sentence replies aren't cool, though. If a paragraph is 5-7 sentences, I require at least a paragraph. Basically, just make an effort.
No romance for this one. Sowwy.
I'd like a group of characters for this one to spice it up (so if a couple of people are interested we could make this a small group thing, four members max), so multiple characters would be appreciated. But no big CS's. Hate doing those. We don't need to know your life story, bud. If we do, it'll show itself in the story. So they would just be simple outlines.
The flavor of this story is very much Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (the books, not the edgy teen movies) with a twist, like the Alice Is Dead games (I highly recommend them, especially if you want to RP this) or the Rusty Lake games (not AAW related, but still a similar style to what I'm going for here).
I will update this if I think of anything else.
So, if you're into it, send me a PM or reply here.
