Hina was raised with the belief that she was born for the progress of her clan and took her duty seriously. When it became apparent that she was deeply gifted, both with an immense amount of cursed energy as well as a strong ability, it became apparent that the name of her clan was on her shoulders -- at least in the eyes of her parents, who hoped to get as much credit as possible. It was with this pressure weighing her down that Hina was enrolled at Jujutsu High. Despite her potential to be one of the best, her own self-doubt and fear of failure held her back, preventing her from devoting herself fully. Due to this her performance was middling throughout most of her schooling, much to everyone’s disappointment.
It is when Geto and Gojo take on the mission to escort the vessel that things go south. Hina insists on coming along and, when things do not turn out as planned, it ends up being the final strike. Deciding that she would be more useful as a bargaining chip or gene pool, her parents removed her from school and had her married to the heir of another sorcerer clan. Crushed, Hina didn’t argue and allowed herself to fade out of the lives of everyone she had cared for.
The marriage was mostly as non-traumatic as it could have been expected to be - although loveless, Hina’s partner wasn’t particularly abusive. She grew into the routine of her life for a little over a year before her husband was killed by a cursed spirit. It was at that point that Hina decided to take her own freedom into her hands. RELATIONSHIPS
Sunji and Yuna Ikairi: Hina’s estranged mother and father. They have never had a close relationship, Hina having always been something of a means to an end in typical Ikagiri clan fashion. Having given up on their daughter after her failure to thrive in Jujutsu High Hina’s parents saw her less and less and time went on, and once Hina’s husband passed they stopped contacting her altogether. Hina, while estranged from her parents, holds resentment towards them. They are her only blood family.
Geto: Classmates from her school days, and the person Hina felt most for. Powerful sorcerers with bleeding hearts bonded a little too closely in a spark that ultimately faded to nothing in the blood of their failures. Mutual pining and tension was minor for the two of them, but present throughout their first two high school years. Gojo: Classmates from her school days. Hina has always found Gojo somewhat fascinating. Utahime: Upperclassman. A little more similar, Utahime and Hina were closer in Hina’s first two years at Jujutsu High and often spent down-time together. Despite Utahime’s efforts to keep in touch their relationship faded after Hina left Jujutsu High.
Nanami: Underclassman. Hina and Nanami only ever really interacting during missions, but they always respected one another. Nanami always had some idea that Hina’s situation was volatile or complicated, but never pried.

Body: Petite. Hina is decently small with a not-so-tall stature and a thin frame. She has a somewhat more apple-like body structure carrying more weight in her chest with slightly wider shoulders, though is fairly proportionate. In her youth she carried a little more weight on her but due to stress she is now quite thin. Compared to your average person Hina has a decent bit of muscle mass and definition, though that still leaves her looking weak and thin compared to most others around her overall strength.

The Kimura clan is a relatively small clan that specializes in the time manipulation cursed technique. The user doesn't actually control time it's self, but rather it's the target's perception of what is going on around them and the user. They can speed things up or slow things down with a snap of their fingers. This ability is hard to use as it takes a lot of concentration for the user to hold up while also fighting, so the users usually prioritize using weapons to attack before resorting to their cursed technique.
In the past, only men were able to use the Kimura's sacred technique.

When meeting strangers / Talking to people while she's on the job, Ari holds herself in a polite manner. Forcing smiles and being polite as she tries to collect the information that is relevant to her and the mission. Doing her best not to cause any fear in those who had no idea in what was going on. She is seen as a kind young lady, someone who is easy to talk to, and a good listener.
Meanwhile, when she's not on the clock and she's around her 'friends' and other sorcerers, Ari is often unsure of how to act. Are these people really there to be her friends or are they after her because of her family? Does she need to be cautious or will she be able to relax? Ari is always on guard when she's not working because of past experiences, so no one is really considered a friend of Ari's unless she feels a strong connection with them. She's not really one to talk to people first but is willing to hold a conversation if someone starts it first. Forcing smiles and laughs to show that she is one of the group is something that Ari has practiced for years and still holds onto to this day. She isn't very fond of crowded places, so she does her best to stay away from crowds and only enters an area where there are few to no people around.
If someone was to ask what Ari was like once they were able to actually get her trust they would probably say something along the lines of, she's very reliable. She isn't one to talk behind others backs and she is protective of those she cares about. She is even willing to put her life on the line for her friends. The user snaps their fingers, sending a wave of their cursed energy at a target or the surrounding area. Affecting their perception of time. Making things seem like they are moving faster or slower at the user's will. The ability is hard to maintain in battles, so when used, the user usually has a time limit for how long they can hold onto the target's time perception. The result is mental fatigue for the user which can affect them if they have used up too much of their cursed energy. The ability can usually only be used once or twice a day with a time limit max of five minutes.
Ticking Clock- Domain expansion for the higher users of the time distortion ability. The domain is filled with multiple ticking clocks, designed to distract the foes as they try to fight the user.

There are a lot of things that Ari doesn't know or remember from her past, but what she does remember. Is that her biological father was absent, well she never met him so she isn't really sure if he was an absent father or if he was dead by the time of her birth. Either way, it doesn't really matter because at the age of four Ari found herself abandoned and put up for adoption. Her mother said she couldn't handle a kid with a mental disorder. Saying she couldn't handle all the creepy things that Ari talked about seeing.
After spending a year in the system Ari was adopted by a couple who had trouble conceiving. The supposed meds never worked, but Ari pretended that they did as she didn't want to be abandoned again. She was happy to pretend that she didn't see the ugly monsters in the world, her 'parents' didn't need to know about them. She didn't want to be left alone again. Yet, like they say. All good things must come to an end because, during the last year of Ari's middle school years, something weird started to happen.
Time would randomly freeze around her. At first, it was just a couple of seconds but then it slowly got longer and Ari started to freak out more and more. Going from the mindset of it just being a coincidence to being amazed by the ability then changing to freaked out about it. It also didn't help that when she went to her 'parents' they freaked out the most and sent her to a psych ward because they were certain that she was possessed by one of the things that she was seeing.
During the last couple of months of her middle school days, Ari was locked in a psych ward because her parents were scared of her and thought that she needed help. That was when Yaga came and got her out of the ward. Telling her 'parents' and staff that he was going to take her to the religious school Jujutsu High to cure her. When in reality he was breaking her out of the ward because she wasn't crazy. She was just unlucky enough to have been living with those who didn't know of the Kimura's power or the ability to deal with curses.

When meeting strangers / Talking to people while she's on the job, Ari holds herself in a polite manner. Forcing smiles and being polite as she tries to collect the information that is relevant to her and the mission. Doing her best not to cause any fear in those who had no idea in what was going on. Meanwhile, when she's not on the clock and she's around her 'friends' and other sorcerers, Ari is often unsure of how to act. Are these people really there to be her friends or are they after her because of her family? Does she need to be cautious or will she be able to relax? Ari is always on guard when she's not working because of past experiences, so no one is really considered a friend of Ari's unless she feels a strong connection with them. She's not really one to talk to people first but is willing to hold a conversation if someone starts it first. Forcing smiles and laughs to show that she is one of the group is something that Ari has practiced for years and still holds onto to this day. She isn't very fond of crowded places, so she does her best to stay away from crowds and only enters an area where there are few to no people around.
If someone was to ask what Ari was like once they were able to actually get her trust they would probably say something along the lines of, she's very reliable. She isn't one to talk behind others backs and she is protective of those she cares about. She is even willing to put her life on the line for her friends.
