Personality: Calculating and shrewd, Cordelia is the sort of woman who looks for the weaknesses in others to exploit them. Life was a competition and no one was allowed to stand in her way. Social situations were not about obtaining friends. Friends were for those who had no ambition. Same thing for dating, honestly. Cordelia had been told by her mother throughout her life that her attraction to women was a liability to her success, so she kept that part of herself secret which only added to her burning loathing of practically everyone she met.
Dislikes: Men in general, insipid conversation, dry white wine and champagne
Motivations: She desperately wants to prove that she is everything her mother drove her to be from a young age even if she hates the woman. Everything she went through to reach this point in her life would be for naught, and if that was the case then it would throw her entire future into question. Due to the way she was raised, Cordelia has deep trust issues and thus has rarely shown others the more genuine side to herself that her journal has seen. Only there is she able to actually vocalize her worries and the struggles she endures balancing the public perception of her character and how she truly feels. Deep down she is lonely, but she'd rather lash out at others than admit to that fact.
Profession: actress, dancer
History: Born the only child to Irving Harper, an Irish businessman, and Grace Hawthorne who was a former Miss USA contestant. She only managed to reach second place, never earning the crown she felt she deserved. From day one, Cordelia's fate had been penned. Every moment of her early life was dedicated mostly to pageants, her mother watching her like a hawk to try to cut out any perceived imperfections. Cordelia's outlets were on the stage either as an actress being able to play a role other than herself or during a dance performance. While her mother had tried to lead her toward ballet, Cordelia was far more interested in ballroom and Latin dance. Appealing to her father on this rare occasion, he acquiesced and allowed her to pursue it. The internet became an integral part of Cordelia's life, and her mother ran her instagram account until she became an adult. Following her reception of a Fine Arts degree, she worked with a former teacher of hers at his dance studio as an instructor.

Personality: Dear, sweet Alejandro is a follower rather than the leader his family wants him to be. He has the ability to be charming and loquacious, but it is often impeded by his insecurities and shyness. So desperate to fit in with those around him, he tends to just go along with their stronger personalities rather than standing up for any particularly strong opinion he might hold. Some might look to him as a dull-witted due to his quiet nature, but Alejandro is quite well-read and indulges in reading classic literature when he is not training with Cordelia.
Likes: Dancing, Football, reading, and classical music. He shares a love of Beethoven and Tchaikovsky with Cordelia.
Dislikes: Large groups, being the center of attention, very bitter flavors
Motivations: He is a people pleaser through and through, so he wants to bring some happiness and pride to his family. His father is the epitome of toxic masculinity, and so Alejandro is stuck often questioning himself and his worth based on that view. Is he really much of a man when he can't find it in himself to stand up for anything?
Profession: dancer and model
History: Alejandro was born to a wealthy family in Barcelona, one with a long and prestigious history that he was destined to continue. This wealth provided him the opportunity to have the best instructors to excel in the arts as well as formal education. His favorite subject was literature, but he wasn't able to focus on that particular line of study. Instead, his father was set on him becoming an attorney like himself so that was his area of focus even if his heart wasn't in it. Things shifted, however, when Grace Harper became a client of the Castillo law firm to go over business agreements involving her daughter, Cordelia. Alejandro and Cordelia couldn't have been more polar opposites if they had attempted to be, Cordelia being so ruthless, ambitious, and assertive. Yet they were magic when the pair were combined on the dance floor, and they made a striking pair in photos.
Thus Alejandro found himself dragged toward the spotlight, going along with it because he just didn't have the spine to fight for what he really wanted.

What is your talent (profession)?: I'm a ball room dancer. Nothing truly stirs the heart like an intense tango or Paso Doble
What would you do with the prize money?: There's an organization that is trying to restore older texts, and I would like to donate the money to the efforts of maintaining our history.
Why should the audience pick you as their favorite?: I...don't really have an answer for that. I guess just because they like me?
