Howdy ho hi!
I'm Emmy. I'm a twenty-three-year-old woman and have been happily married for nearly six years. I have two furbabies- A dog named Sophie and a cat named Marcy. I live in EST, though my sleep is nearly always flip-flopped upside-down. I enjoy watching The Office, and I partake in embroidery, cross-stitch, painting, and gaming. I currently do not have a job so that means a lot of free time on my hands! I do battle with a severe anxiety/panic disorder and depression, so if I'm not able to reply or anything I will do my best to communicate that to you. And on the flip side, if you are busy with life/work or you are struggling with your own mental illness, I am beyond understanding. I have a Discord dedicated to OOC nonsense, so just ask and I'll add you over there! As far as where our story will be written I prefer to keep it in private messages here or on Google Docs.
I exclusively write in the third person and past tense. I can write anywhere between four paragraphs to ten, depending on what is going on in the story and how much my writing partner is giving me. However, I do believe in quality over quantity. I typically prefer to write as the female and I only do female X male pairings, though that is not because I have anything at all against the LGBTQ+ community, it is simply out of my wheelhouse. I also only do original characters, even if they may be based on a character from a show, movie, or book, so I prefer my partners do the same. But I will absolutely base a plot loosely around some sort of fandom!
I'm looking for something with a lot of romance, angst, and drama. I have absolutely no "triggers." Though I will not write out sex scenes, anything before is fine, I just prefer to use the "fade to black" method when things are about to go down. I'm super into slice of life and constantly plotting up ways that things can go wrong. I love stories that can draw all kinds of emotions from me, not just the happy ones! I'm mostly looking for modern settings, though I'm not completely against some supernatural twists (mostly werewolves or vampires, but we can discuss others).
This tab might seem kind of long and formal, so I apologize! I'm really a rather laid-back person, but I want to be specific here for both my sake and yours.
》You must be 18+ due to my own age and comfortability. Most of my plots involve trauma of all sorts, drug abuse, toxic relationships, mental illnesses, cursing, in other words- Things I would not be comfortable writing with minors.
》I personally do love to sit down with someone and give out semi-rapid-fire responses (I say semi because when you're typing out multiple paragraphs it definitely takes at least 20+ minutes to get out a reply), but if you are unable to do this it is absolutely not a dealbreaker.
》Be interested! I just cannot vibe with people who are void of personality and respond with a simple "Ok" when I'm trying to plot with them. If I'm invested, I would like it if you were as well.
》Be willing to brainstorm and move the plot along. When there is only one person trying it strains the whole story and drains the life out of the person doing all of the work.
》Similiarly to the rule above, be able to add in side characters as needed. I find it hard to keep a plot going when there are only two characters.
》Please have a good grasp of the English language. I would say I am rather detailed (I wouldn't call myself an expert or anything) and I would prefer my partner(s) have the same ability. We all make mistakes, I know I do far more than I would like to admit, and that is completely fine! But please do not type something I have to decipher.
》 My post length varies. I can put out anywhere between four to ten paragraphs per reply depending on the setting, in-character chatter, inspiration, and what my partner is giving me. Please do not leave me with a tiny paragraph, let alone a one-liner.
》 Romance is a must for me, but there has to be something actually moving the story along even if it is centered around the relationship. It can't just be sunshine and rainbows.
》 This should go without saying, but absolutely no god-modding. Your characters are yours and my characters are mine, let's keep it that way.
》I personally only use realistic face claims and I would prefer you did as well, though I am fine with realistic digital art face claims.
》 I only write heterosexual pairings. I have nothing at all against the LGBTQ+ community, but that is out of my reach. I hope you understand.
》 I am more versed with feminine characters, and when given the option I will always choose to write as a female.
》At this time I am not looking to double.
》 I love angst. I love emotion. I love dark themes. I love things going horribly wrong. I love the drama. So with that said, I have zero triggers. However, I am not interested in writing smut, so if you're here for that, then I am not the writing partner for you. I am a firm believer in the good ole "fading to black" method, however anything before is fine.
》 I adore OOC chat! Hit me up with mood boards, music, or just tell me about your day! I find it is so much easier to collaborate with a friend rather than a stranger! I have a Discord exactly for this reason!

Unfortunately for the male, he was just beginning to gain the courage to admit his growing feelings for his best friend when she was whisked away by this other man. He was left with all of their memories together; late ice cream runs, family dinners, and peaceful hikes along the river of their small town. It wasn't exactly easy on the female having to leave her best friend behind, but she assumed that things with him would not ever go anywhere further and, quite frankly, she was craving the affection of a man. She was positive that this new man would make her happy as he was doing all the right things; buying her flowers, taking her on sweet little dates, and toting her around like she was the only woman on the planet. It didn't take long for that to change though. He slowly began cutting her friends out of her life, beginning with that boy she had grown up with. And the abuse? That's something she's just not able to fully accept, always making excuses for his rash bouts of anger.

When enrolling for college, she makes a mistake and checks off the box to be put into a dorm with any gender. Coincidentally, it just so happens to be her childhood best friend that she's paired with. Something is different about him, though. But she just can't place her finger on it (He could be anything; werewolf, vampire, shapeshifter, etc. Or we can keep things realistic and he could be involved with a gang of sorts or anything really).
