bloodless
The physics class was as muggy as always. The single desk fan going at full blast and all the windows open fully. Sweaty teenagers filled the room, some on detention, the normal reason anyone would bother going to this sweltering room. While others were here due to the chemical leak in the chemistry lab earlier that day due to kids fooling around. This room was where students went to study or for extra help after school. They were moved to the detention room of course. Finally, there was the occult club. Sitting at the number of only 3 members they have a little less than a month now to find another member or they will lose their club. The room they are normally in, nothing even close to what others would call a club room, was given to another club for the afternoon. A club with enough members that the student council valued far more than the accursed occult club.
Things went normal, the teacher, Mr. Lamey, had left the students to go and do stuff much better than watching a bunch of snotty-and at the moment sweaty-teenagers. He knew they couldn't leave the property until detention times were over. The security also wouldn't let them cheat the system. Their ID's wouldn't let them out and the officers would make sure they didn't manage to get out another way. Of course, since the student council president herself was here, the lazy old teacher took it as a chance for him to leave early and her to dismiss the detention room.
The clock ticked on towards freedom in the room, Anastasia had taken the teachers desk as a place to study and watch over the detention students. Two jocks, the ones who were here because they spilled the chemical carelessly, were messing around, earning a glare from Ana. They smirked as they stood up, taking the skull off the teacher's desk and began to play football with it. Ana stood up, scratching the seat behind her aggressively as she stood up. "Stop that this instant Brian and James!" she spoke loudly. The two didn't give her a glance as Brian through the skull. Sadly the throw was much too high and James, someone who is passionate about football, of course, attempted to catch it. A loud clang sounded as he thumped against the shelves behind him. The loud thunk sounded as the shelf fell over, landing in front of the door.
Ana was silent for a moment before she started lecturing the two, making them pick up the shelf. Since the students were in charge of cleaning classrooms in the end, there were no janitors on the job. They were only here for weekends or over breaks. No teachers stayed in there class late on the third floor and clubs had ended already-of course the occult club decided to stay later since they were given the chance-. No one came rushing to the class to see the ruckus, the teachers remaining all being on the first floor, too far away for the sound to be loud enough to cause them to investigate.
The boys picked the shelf back up, picking up the heavy physics textbooks that had also fallen. As they did that Brain spoke up, "Uh Ana, the doorknob is gone." Ana looked at him like he was stupid, pushing him aside to see. She froze, the little metal object sat carelessly on the ground. She attempted to open the door, but it didn't budge. "Way to go you two!" she hissed as she hit her head in annoyance. Their phones were confiscated at the office at the begging of each day. They couldn't use that to call for help. Ana raised her voice and called for someone to help. ... no response. Brain tried it too. .... no response. Some other students tried to open the door or cry for help, but no response came. That was until a failure jingle played on the announcements.

"The final call for any remaining staff or students. It is now 6:50. This is the last warning, please exit the school through one of the first-floor exits. Thank you."
Silence fell over the lab for a moment. Guess they are going to be the first to find out why you aren't allowed in the school after 7 pm.
