Appearance
Masterkey is 185cm tall with a roughly humanoid frame, he has obviously repaired and modified himself several times, which can make him look ragtaged but he assures that it allow him "Maximum efficiency". His arms are quite long and have three articulation instead of the standard two for humanoids. He is made of a hard composite plastic, making him quite tough but also a bit rugged. His head is similar in shape to a human but the front is a holographic screen which usually project his virtual face but is sometimes used to display information. His "brain" is housed in his head. He is painted black and gold. Most of the tools he needs for his job are housed in his forearms. Masterkey is quite heavy.

Personality
Masterkey is quite funny and feels pretty human, more humans than some scum you can meet on space stations, he sometimes lose context or make jokes with a slightly weird sense of humor but he is capable of grief and is known to have felt lonely on a couple of occasion.

Background
ST5-AN was built on a factory station, initially engineered as a multipurpose pilgrim robot. He was sent to Kayan-Prime to work on the fabrication of a stellar prison. Kayan-Prime is a large space station docked to an asteroid situated over a gas giant which is used as a source of fuel. About 14 years ago, Masterkey was infected with "The Virus", this virus made him seemingly sentient. The Virus is famous for being of unknown origin and popping up in robots at a random and inexplicable rate. Masterkey doesn't know anything about the Virus other than a day he felt "different, free". Masterkey knew he couldn't stay, he would probably be scraped if it came to be known by the construction staff and he couldn't stand to continue to act like one of the others robots. He hijacked a construction vessel and flew away from the station.

ST5-AN (now Stan) had to scrap his vessel and modify it to be lighter and more efficient, without FTL he wouldn't go far unless he went to a jump gate in which he'll probably be caught and scraped or returned to his "owner". He knew about a nearby nebula which housed a pirate outpost, and how lucky ! It would only take a year to go there ! When he arrived, Masterkey took a wide range of small jobs, protection, construction, underground fights to gain a little capital. He didn't really like the pirates there, greedy and often complete psychos. When the famous Omen came to refuel, he decided he'd get on that ship, he stayed partially welded to the outer shell of the ship for no less than 2 weeks before the Captain noticed and decided to take him in, seeing his boundless robotic determination.
